As A THREE TIME LOSER.....

....to traditional Spanish classes, at 66, I am delighted to discover I CAN learn Spanish! I can repeat lessons I think/know I need to repeat....and then move on when I am comfortable with my use/knowledge. It’s a bit tougher for me after having a small stroke. The words I try to spell, get mixed up, even though I KNOW the word I want...I am having trouble spelling in Spanish. But I am delighted WITH my progress! TINY CARDS present a whole line of languages to learn! I am amazed to discover that there are other subjects presented like Medical Terminology, Basic Science Equations , and even letters and numbers for the kids! To see ALL of TINY CARDS offerings be sure to set up an account. It is entirely free (which amazes and delights me...) and you will be able to add for your own use flash cards...of any subject offered. Roman numerals, anyone? It’s here! It’s up to you to use it....it’s fun and a great way to learn at your own pace...😀. 💯% Oh, I forgot....when I feel competent, there are pod recordings in Spanish that I can listen to. (I did not check every language offered)It’s another perk.

Excellent App! Just a few suggestions...

I love this app! I use it all the time, and I loving being able to share my learning resources that I have made on the app with my friends, electronically. However, no app is perfect, although this app is one of my favorites, so I have a few suggestions. Firstly, folders! I want to be able to organize all of my decks of flash cards into folders, since after you make many, it can make your profile look messy. Secondly, recordings. I want to be able to study for speaking exams in French, so it would be very helpful to be able to upload pre-recorded recordings. Finally, groups. My friends and I all share flash cards that we all make. I would like for us to have a group, and whoever is in that group, receives a notification when they upload flash cards. Thank you for reading this, and more importantly, thank you for this terrific platform for learning new things!

Yo

I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews on this app, but I think it might be because people were expecting something just like Duolingo, with all of the carefulness that went into making it such a high quality product. I think it’s unfair for people to judge this app based on Duolingo. Duolingo has had a lot of resources put into it so that it’s a high quality app that can affectively teach (at least the basics of) a language. this app is not Duolingo. this app is a study tool to compliment Duolingo, but that can also help you learn other things. It’s basically Quizlet, only nicer if you ask me. this app are literally just online flash cards that are a good alternative to making your own. This app acts a deck of flashcards only free, with no trees cut down to make them, and arguably it takes a lot less time to make a nice product on this app than to write stuff neatly onto paper.

Amazing! Informative! Insane! I ❤️ google

Now, most of the language apps, require you to do a subscription! Which is so stupid! Now on duolingo and tiny cards, its free!!! Yes, I said it FREE! I adore google for this, which has helped me and school and even in writing. The app, if you're like me, doesn't just say fail, it'll help you through it when you don't get it! Now, there are the occasional adds, yet still good! Take it from me! I DESPISE adds with every bone in my body, they ruin games and make them annoying! But here, at least they tell you why! They say it's to keep learning free, which, heck, keep the adds coming if j get this good of an app! I seriously recommend this app to anyone who loves to learn languages and new things through helpful flashcards. Google... ROCKS, for making this app!

Great flash cards

This is a great tool but like all tools for language learning is best when combined with others. Using the duolingo decks is better than duolingo itself for drilling material but not as good for initially learning it (as should be expected of flash cards). The flash card functionality, independent of the content (flipping cards, swiping away, the repetition, etc...), is very good and better than any other flash card app I have tried. One has to be careful of other users’ custom decks though as those do tend to contain errors. There is not much that can be done about that though besides having everything reviewed by an expert and it may not always be clear what the deck is for much less how it should be reviewed.
