I’m giving AlarmClock 5 stars for now because it is awesome...when it works. One thing that is very nice is you can set the volume of your alarm and it stays at that level for your alarms no matter what else you do with your phone. I don’t know how many times I was startled awake with the resident iPhone clock app because I had turned up the phone volume earlier in the day or overslept because I had muted the phone and forgot. You can fall asleep listening to sounds you’ve downloaded or your music. It fades out at the end of the time you have set so it doesn’t wake you up when it stops playing. However, with the latest update to the iOS, AlarmClock shuts off when you lock the screen. I really miss my ocean sounds! I love AlarmClock and I hope the developers can figure out how to make it work, once more, when the screen is locked.

This has been my go-to clock app for years and I’ve always loved it.

But lately—when I put my phone in landscape mode for the first few times after launching AlarmClock —it thinks the center of the screen is in the lower left corner and THAT’S where it puts the time. It doesn’t increase the font size and it hides the lower half of the time.

It takes several tries of going back and forth from landscape to portrait and back again before it displays the time larger and properly centered.

I used AlarmClock years ago, when I had smaller iPhones. I loved it, particularly since the snooze times were adjustable with one minute granularity. It worked well for me.

Eventually I went with bigger screens, but for some reason, there is a white bar showing at the bottom of the screen. It’s annoying and it keeps me awake. I I don’t know if they just aren’t bothering to update AlarmClock anymore, or if they decided that what an app that stays on all night needs is a bright white light glaring off the screen, but I couldn’t keep using it.

Once a year or so I download it to see if they fixed this bug. So far, they have not.

Prior to this update, I could set the alarm to my wake up time of 6:45am, and after it was fully set I would press the side button on my iPhone X to make the screen go black and then the alarm would go off at 6:45am.

Now, after the 13.4.1 update, after pressing the side button to make the screen go black completely kicks me out of the Alarm app and the “Enable Alarm” setting is in the off position so the alarm doesn’t go off. Can you please fix this?

Downloaded to replace my old alarm clock. Works well except that the weather does not appear, it always says download failed. I even paid for the pro version to see if it worked, but it still says the weather download has failed. This was the reason I got this to see the weather each morning as I work at a golf course and the weather is very important to me. Hope to see a fix for this

I got my iPhone about 2 months ago and downloaded AlarmClock because I thought it would be good. It worked well for those 2 months but then this morning it didn’t go off even though the time was still set. I get up at the same time every day that I work so there shouldn’t have been any issues at all. I gave 3 stars because I don’t believe I got too used to it. I’ve had other phones, even a safelink one, where the alarm worked well for years. I just want to forewarn people that this could happen but I don’t want to deter them from trying it out.

I'd give 5 stars if AlarmClock had a little more functionality. But I'm not really complaining either. I'd like it a little more if it came with its own dimmer too. But otherwise, it does what it says. Nice consistent glow that looks exactly like an alarm clock. I do really like the weather function, with the location. I have not found any problems with it, and I've had it for a few weeks now. Nice free alarm clock app.

Doesn’t seem to be comparable with new IOS. Having issues I have not had in the past. The snooze function does not work if the alarm clock is not running on an unlocked phone (always been that way), should probably chance that. Well now the alarm clock function will not stay open and keep phone unlocked. Also it seemed to work with the do not disturb function. While phone was unlocked because alarm clock was on I did not get any alerts, now (for the time the alarm clock seems to decide to be open for) allows all alerts to go through well past my do not disturb settings.

I stayed in the W Hotel in Chicago which is a pretty fancy place – but amazingly there's no clock in the room – I guess there's no clock cool enough for this place? Anyway, I got sick of turning on my phone in the middle of the night to see what time it was so I downloaded AlarmClock and it's worked great for me – I haven't tried the alarm yet – tomorrow is not a crucial wake up so I'm trying it then – hopefully it works as well as the rest AlarmClock .

I’ve used AlarmClock for years. In the past 2 weeks the snooze alarm doesn’t work or works intermittently. It seems when this is going to happen the tiny alarm bell icon is blinking instead of being constantly on. I’ve tried to figure out if I’m doing something wrong. Please fix. Otherwise it’s 5 stars. Reliable and easy to use.

After Yocko Clock was pulled, I went on a long look to find a replacement. This is the one that won me over. I wish it showed how much time remained till the alarm goes off, but that's all that I lost. Everything else... It's in there. Great and efficient app that I appreciate even more after my long search for the perfect alarm clock.

Alarm Pro worked well for many years as an alarm and digital clock only. Suddenly, the localized weather fails to become updated, with instead a resulting display “update failed”, above the time. Deleting AlarmClock and its data, followed with reinstalling AlarmClock does no good; still no weather — still update fails. I would expect some pro-active support from iHandy, but evidently I am sadly mistaken. Fortunately, I never installed any other iHandy app, nor will I ever at this point

Been using AlarmClock for quite some time, (and love it) but after the last update if you setup an alarm and it goes off, you can’t cancel it or “snooze” it. It will repeat every minute after no matter what you do. The only way for me to cancel the alarm was to remove AlarmClock from my phone completely. I tried reinstalling and it did the same thing. Please fix!

I have used AlarmClock for a long time without issue - loved it!! But the update last week introduced a bad bug! I wake several times a night and I always check the time to see if I need to get up, well, the screen does not seem to be showing the time, it seems to have opened a window where it looks like it might play music but it is blank and pressing the X in the top left corner does not close it, I have to close AlarmClock and get out. Please fix this!!! If there is not an update to fix soon I will have to find a replacement 😔

I've used AlarmClock for years and have been very happy with it. Recently it started putting up a "nag screen" to get me to buy some other app. The only options are to go get AlarmClock or to be nagged again "later." It would be nice to have a "not interested" option that would stop the screen from appearing for good.

I have tried several free alarm clock apps. I was trying to save space on my phone so I switched to a low megabyte app. I couldn't even label my alarms! The ringtones are loud enough to wake you up, you can label your alarms and AlarmClock is free of malware unlike the higher usage megabyte apps.

Just installed a few hours ago, simple clock with weather n temp with ad at portrait view but not at landscape view. Has optional alarm that I have not tried yet. Only have green color for digit with black background. Just what I m looking for. A more customize background or digit color will be great

I’ve used this alarm for over a yr. worked great!! Key word worked, now the alarm needs to be on all night, before my phone could go dark and it would still work. Before, the alarm would play my music until I turned it off, now it plays a couple of songs and it shuts off. I have no idea what happen to change it but please fix it!!!

Have tried other alarm apps and had problems with them failing after a few months. AlarmClock works flawlessly and I can depend on it functioning properly every time (providing I set it properly. )😉 it's also very easy to use and user friendly.

App worked well at first then city, temp, weather condition, disappears while settings shows it to be ok. “Update failed” now shows and appears to be permanent when I never got an update notice. Now it is a simply an alarm clock without your city, temp, and weather condition in app’s description. Time and missing info was accurate at first. What happened?

I was using a different (but very similar) digital alarm clock app before this one, and I was generally happy with it. Then, one day, there was an update or something that made the clock display smaller and put a banner ad in the horizontal view (whereas before they were only in the vertical view). This basically broke the deal for me, so I went looking for another free alarm clock app. Out of the few that I tried, this was the only one to have the functionality I wanted without the bothersome ad in the horizontal view. It also doesn't have the flashlight-on-shake function that some other apps have, which I am also glad to be rid of (accidentally getting a blast of bright light in the dark is not fun). While AlarmClock might not have every feature I would like, it had all the ones I need without any of the ones I despise. For that, I give it a five star rating.
