Since they updated their online banking platform, users can no longer make international transfers in AED and take advantage of significantly better overseas exchange rates. We are now stuck with the only option of making international transfers in USD, EURO, or GBP and are forced to go by NBD’s terrible inbank exchange rates. USD is 2cents off market (bad but manageable), EURO & GBP on the other hand are sometimes up to a staggering 20 CENTS OFF MARKET! So if you’re doing an international transfer in those currencies you’re basically getting robbed. Very disappointed, this is more of a downgrade than anything else.

Basic banking features not working since several month. I’m not able to see for example the transactions on my current account, or not able to update my ID documents. I have contacted the support several times, I never received any answer or update on my request. It is the worst banking app I have ever used. The user experience is bad. The previous application was not great, but it was working at least.

It’s nice but so many features are missing. For instance, the standing instructions. I had a standing instruction to pay my credit card total statement due but I cannot access it anymore. Neither they can access it in the branch. Neither they can access it when I call the customer care. One example among others… ENBD should have not release this terrible app.
