The good: tracks are pretty high quality, and some have different styled versions, which is good. Also, you only have to pay for tracks you want, and you can preview portions first.

The bad: jazz coverage is weak. A few classics, like “All Of Me” we’re represented multiple times but a lot of the standards were missing. Also browsing for just the Jazz items was difficult, there is a Big Band playlist, but that had a lot of rock stuff in it. And Big Band is not the whole of Jazz by any means. Other than searching by name I couldn’t see any other way to find stuff, as the Jazz tunes seem to be buried, what’s there anyway, making it needle in a haystack time.

But it has a few gems, “In The Mood” Andrews Sisters style allows you to mute each of the three vocalists individually, and most of the instrumentals are pretty nice sounding, seems a cut above the Midi-player style of backing. For me it’s probably useful for a couple of tunes, and that’s about it for now. Maybe they’ll add more later.

I love Jamzone very much except for the fact that there’s no way to actually edit a song’s arrangement ? That’s the only reason I gave it a four star rating. I would like to be able to customize the song by maybe taking out or muting an instrumental section and then have it automatically go to the next section of the song. The way it is now, you have to play the arrangements the way they are. Can you please help us out with this on a future update? Thanks so much! Jimmy C

I absolutely love Jamzone, but the volume level is too low and not adjustable. I use it to learn my lines for my bass and the volume through my earbuds is so low compared to all other music apps I’ve tried it’s almost unusable. Please boost the volume it would make the slider work even better

If you were only able to isolate your own portion of a verse, chorus, bridge, or instrumental to loop, and also if you could slow the song down in increments on one bpm at a time to work on the song. If these features could not be achieved; then the ability to isolate tracks and bounce them to other apps like amazing slow downer, audiostretch, or transcribe would be ideal.

The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I’m really into classic country and the selection on here is not so great, but I really can’t blame them because its not a popular genre. Since Jamzone is free and I only pay for each song I downloaded it’s still worth it! Of the 15-20 songs I did find and download they were Great! I Love Jamzone! My only suggestion is to download Jamzone and see if what you want is available! Jam On!

I just joined yesterday so I haven’t had a chance to explore everything in Jamzone . What I like is the realism, and the mixer’s ability to eliminate or alter tracks, adjust the pitch and tempo, and it’s very intuitive and easy to use. Con is it’s pretty pricy at $2.00 per song... it can add up quick. Buying bundles can bring it down a bit. But I’m happy with it so far.

This is an awesome app!! I use it whenever I practice and with the band when we are learning a new song! I like how we can connect to our gear and you can play along with the song. The only draw backs are the lack of songs which is understandable since this is a newer app, we will be looking forward to the upcoming new music. The other is the down load time. You don’t want to be in a hurry while downloading it take quite awhile even with a high speed internet. Hopefully that can be fixed as Jamzone grows. Other than that this is an awesome app and well worth the time to get and use. It’s a very good tool for a musician or a band! Thanks guys!

Jamzone is amazing, that backing tracks are solid and professional. Excellently made! Lyrics and chords scroll through, repeat sections, solo etc. these guys thought of it all. Must’ve been made by musicians. The only thing I would add is the ability to arrange the order in which songs are played when creating a setlist. That’s the only reason I have it 4 stars otherwise it’s was definitely worth investing in the songs. If you’re someone that works musician or to even have fun playing at home I would definitely recommend!

Jamzone is great!You can control just about every instrument, every back up singer, lead singer, whatever you need to do! This includes rhythm, and how high or low you want the instruments to go. However, I have found myself with silent songs. What I mean with that, is that I have purchased the songs, yet they are not playing anything. Some of them are playing, but not all. That’s the only reason I gave it a four-star, otherwise I would give it a five. I hope that this gets fixed fast, just for the purpose of this up being so cool before, and I would love that to be back the way it was!

Recently, I wrote a scathing review of Jamzone. I was having problems in Jamzone was pretty much unusable for me. Apparently, I was having problems with my Mac OS. The problem was not with this app. This is a really cool app and I really appreciate the time the developers put into it to make it a great tool for aspiring musicians like myself. Keep up the good work guys. I’m sorry I had a blip that I thought was your fault. You guys are doing great.

It’s a multi track backing app with excellent covers and the ability to mute, loop, single out , transcribe keys, and adjust tempo! Try it! Once you can drive it, nothing else will do. A great source of joy for me. It makes you better for you and your band! I see it just getting better with time, more songs, and subscribers! Download , there’s several free tracks and Jamzone itself is FREE!

So yeah, I really like Jamzone . Both free and pay-for. Helps me to practice my bass and piano chops - and more. Can see where it would work for collaboration with friends. Maybe in conjunction with GarageBand too? Or vice-versa.

The samples are multi-tracks of real players; and most of the time, they sound like the originals. You can mute what you want, and add a track too. I’m in the newbie stage, there are many other features.

So just get it.

I’ve been looking some an app like this for some time. I’m an old guy who is into classic rock, county and blues. Jamzone just seemed to have a lot of the songs that I was looking to learn to play. Great features and I ran into a snafu where I purchased some credits but they weren’t showing up on Jamzone . Customer service contacted me right away and corrected the problem along with a nice customer service gesture for the inconvenience.

I definitely recommend Jamzone - seems like they are getting better content all the time!

Great songs to jam with while adding your own parts. Realistic compilations and ability to adjust individual tracks. Having the lead vocal included is a real plus for those of us that aren’t much of a singer. Nice variety of songs and genres to choose from. Well worth the money for watch song when you purchase them in bulk!

Been playing in a band for many years. This is the best way for me and all of the band members to learn each part of a song. We are able to really know every note of the song and when to play them. I can tell you that every band member is excited. Thank you for providing us this easy and fun way to learn new songs.

Anyway that this app could slow down as much as 25%?
Also would love to isolate segments of areas like chorus, bridge, instrumental; so forth, and loop them. Also a 2 or 4 count before the loop begins each time. I hope this isn’t too much to ask.

I’m really enjoying Jamzone. The ability to mix out any instrument or vocal with a simple move is great. So. You can play guitar. Or bass or saxophone. And. Take it right out. You can be the lead singer. Or backup singer. Or. Both. Sound quality is amazing. I. Of course. Would like to see more guitar songs. But. I guess if I was a clarinet player. I’d want that. Great app.

Endless possibilities if you like to jam. With a little tweaking you could create your own karaoke show for musicians and singers. They hit a home run with simplicity. The beauty is key changes and tempo changes. Love that you can silence any track. A great improvement to Jamzone would be the ability to loop smaller sections. If your not sure download Jamzone and try some of the free songs. Plus all songs can be previewed before you decide to buy. The more you spend on credits the price per song goes down. Enjoy!!!

I used a similar app in the past that had no support. Jamzone is constantly being updated and improved. It is simple to use and works perfectly. They offer a large selection of tracks and I’m hoping it continues to grow. I’m very happy with Jamzone and it’s features.

As professional front man for many years ! I can learn a song so easy! Compared to any other application! Beautiful first class professional design ! Love the chords and lyrics that are layer out so smoothly! The tracks are top notch! some endings are a little strange ? But for the most part are stunning! Hope your catalog grows would like to see custom karaoke transfer and remaster from their catalog to this app. 👍👍

As a beginner guitarist, I was so excited to discover Jamzone. Just as I'm getting set up, I get the notice about the new pay format! So sad, so bad...guess I will have to look for some other way to learn.
