AA Big Book Ultimate Companion Reviews

I used AABigBookUltimateCompanion for a while and it was great so I upgraded and since then AABigBookUltimateCompanion was buggy but I still got what I needed from it. Sometimes I just had to reopen it or just wait a little longer. Now it won’t work at all. I get a never ending loading screen. :( If it worked though I’d give it 5 stars it’s a perfect place for everything AA not just the entire big book but day count, daily reflection, a quick speaker tape and a bunch of other stuff too.

I love AABigBookUltimateCompanion. I purchased the lifetime membership. I have a long commute and listening to the daily reflection and Big Book were worth the upgrade! I would have given this 5 stars, but from time-to-time I have to delete AABigBookUltimateCompanion and reload it because the date is incorrect. Sometimes there are bugs and it won’t even update. The bugs have gotten better since my purchase 3 months ago, but they are not completely fixed. I suggest purchasing the lifetime membership. It’s the best deal and my sobriety is worth it!

I have had the premium for 53 days now and had purchased premium on a different phone. ( original phone broken) and when I finally got it fixed it didn’t recognize premium services. I deleted app, and restarted it, and “ restored” content. It didn’t, so I emailed James and within 2 hours it was restored along with 2 follow ups! I have nothing but positive reviews about AABigBookUltimateCompanion!! It’s crazy how a sobriety date and daily quotes assist me with my urges! I LOVE watching my sobriety date add another day, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the relaxing sounds on there with a timer!! I’m only writing review to show how much I appreciate AABigBookUltimateCompanion and the time spent to fix bugs and reply back so speedily and to follow up making sure I had my premium services back again!!

Hi my name is Matthew and I am a opioid addict. I believe AABigBookUltimateCompanion can do the most for u if u let it and best with a sponsor. But I purchased AABigBookUltimateCompanion couple weeks ago love the meetings and recording the mediations all are great. There is only one thing I wish AABigBookUltimateCompanion had and it’s a aa dictionary this feature would help so many understanding and it would be convenient to the users.

I don’t have to drag around my big book I’ll have to do is pull the big book up in my phone and I’m good to go I can take it with me wherever I go and it sure does come in handy

AABigBookUltimateCompanion has helped me immensely since my Sponsor made sure I always knew how many days of Sobriety I have, and to never forget it!!! Also, all the contents of the Big Book! Thank you!

It’s super easy to spend time in the Big Book daily on an app like this. User friendly, great reader’s voice and handy. I love AABigBookUltimateCompanion and knowing I can turn it on any time of the day or night is helpful.

I use AABigBookUltimateCompanion daily and love it. I don’t know if it’s happening across the board but as of the last couple weeks the audio clip will have someone’s name but the clip will be of Chris Raymor (spelling unsure?) but it’s definitely him but will have a different name??

AABigBookUltimateCompanion has been a essential tool of my sobriety. I have access to the Big Book at anytime, and I can enter a keyword when I can’t remember a particular page, which has been immensely helpful. There are also speakers and daily readings. I use the relaxation “sounds” every morning for meditation and every night to sleep.

I just love AABigBookUltimateCompanion! It is easy to use and has a wide array of fantastic resources. In addition to the big book, you will find speaker tapes, and a large amount of other recovery based audio. This also includes some meditation recordings.

Great to listen to any time of day as an additional support to your regular recovery program. Highly recommend.

There’s so much good about the entire book. As an agnostic who definitely believes that the universe is bigger and more powerful than I am, I found that the broad scope of the book that allows each person to determine their “higher power”, or “God” if you would, makes sense. I’ve had an aversion to the word “God” all my life. No belief that a “he or she” exists, yet I can clearly see that I’m a part of a universe that is everything and that the power of that universe determines our lives.

Taking the time to read the book and to start really working the steps as a family member who is impacted by alcoholism he’s brought me so much more understanding of the illness and allowed me to be a better partner and parent.

Just an amazing amount of tools and positivity at your fingertips, also tracks sobriety time and has many stories of successful AA’ers. Also incredible in a way that if you’re so mind is so messed up off the run you were on and can’t read it will read the big book for you. Every page. Love it

It is worth it! I am not the best reader and the real book looks scary 🤣 so I got this to help me to actually “read” it. I love the audiobook I have now had it for 2 years. So if you have a problem reading and rather listen this is AABigBookUltimateCompanion for you! Also AABigBookUltimateCompanion had a bunch of extra recordings of great speakers and daily quotes! So it’s not only the big book it has more for your recovery. It has save me on my vacation in the middle of no wear and during quarantine. I hope AABigBookUltimateCompanion helps you as it has helped me. One day at a time and listen!

I had been an alcoholic for more than twenty years when I first started working the program I was told I was going to need a Big Book, I didn’t realize how important of a role it would play in my recovery. I’ve read the entire book form front to back too many times to count mine is falling apart but I still use it on a daily basis. I’m so grateful for alcoholics just like me who took the time to share what helped them recover. When I don’t feel like reading I let AABigBookUltimateCompanion read it to me I love it and hope others will enjoy and use it just as much.

I’m a Florida Firefighter Paramedic and have been sober for 71 months. I would consider it very Good Sobriety. My spiritual condition and ability to deal with life on life’s terms is usually top notch. I owe a lot of those true promises to AABigBookUltimateCompanion. I have a sponsor and a homegroup but using Audiojoy I have listen many times to the Big Book and Twelve and twelve. I have all of my sponsees use it. We listen to the speakers and share our thoughts, I listen to Joe and Charlie and Barefoot Bill when working steps with a guy. And I use the meditations and chants and bells to meditate daily. When I share at meetings I often here that people are amazed that I only have 3 years sobriety. My mind, my Marriage, Job, relationships with my children and others and all of the gifts in my life today I owe to AA, a good sponsor, my sponsees, homegroup and the Great Spirit of the Universe whom I call God. But I owe a lot to this Audiojoy app. Please take some time to try it out then purchase the unlimited version.

I’ve used AABigBookUltimateCompanion for years; it has been a cornerstone to my recovery and I recommend it to everyone. My current version is inexplicably buggy…but it seems I’m the only one with this issue. I found there is a sister app for AA speakers and now have that and it is the same old app I’ve come to rely on. Interestingly, the only stuff which hasn’t been working for me as of late is the AA content…the meditations are my favorite and work fine. The other recovery content works just fine. The AA speakers app has all the AA stuff so these two in concert are just a blessing.

I have been attending Alcoholics Anonymous since 1995 and it literally saved my life. There have been years I attended well over 200 meetings a year- maybe even close to 300. Now I am so busy I can’t attend as many meetings as I want to- I average maybe 3 a week and my goal is 5. This audio app fills the gap with the literature I need to work the program in my life. The meetings I crave are literature based, yet I also enjoy the experience strength and hope meetings of what it was like, what happened, and what it’s like now. This is a good app for the bus ride and when I get a chance to work on my recovery. For me this is literally a life and death issue. Thanks for this audio collection.

I’ve only had AABigBookUltimateCompanion a couple of weeks so I haven’t really explored it and of course haven’t read the directions, but the speakers are great. All the resources like Alanon, are things that are opening this new comer up to what is available and giving me new avenues to explore. And I am constantly getting answers to the questions that, I believe the God of my understanding, are placing on my mind. I feel like I have a meeting at my fingertips wherever I need it. Having the big book being read to me has helped understand it and makes it easy to look up definitions. Would love to have the 1934ish dictionary as a resource on AABigBookUltimateCompanion for a better clarity of Bill’s meaning

After 23 years and cassettes and cds my new car didn’t have a CD player. Joe and Charlie’s presence in my life 22 years ago changed my life. Today on this Ap I can again have a new experience. Today and everyday. Forever
