I didn’t think an interface could be worse than iOSs.
Hard to see, can’t view descriptions, useless search application, non-intuitive controls.
Waste of money. Would be easier to stick your head out a window and hope you hear a podcast.

Crashes before I played one podcast.

Skipcast is a pleasant app. It excels in the ability to find, research an add podcasts to individual play list (more on that later). It has an intuitive interface and some standout audio features. However I cannot get past that lack of settings for your casts.
The single playlist per channel I suppose would be fine for some but others are more podcast hungry. Advanced users may have multiple lists like Technology lists, Newsbrief lists, Video lists and just plain old Audio lists. You're not gonna find that in this app. Everything is just housed under one flat list per title. It's disappointing that such a wonderful app is missing play list customization. There are many free podcast players that offer multiple list play features. Being able to create multiple lists by date, or type (Video/Audio) or main topic (News, Politics, Music etc.)
You also will greatly miss the ability to control what gets played and when. It's missing the ability to play your casts from "Oldest to Newest" or vice versa.
Despite the apps amazing catalog of podcasts and description pages of those podcasts, you can't see the individual podcast contents unless you actually subscribe. Something that I hope will be fixed in updates.
All in all it is a nice app. However, with basic control features and customizations missing it does not justify its current price especially with so many free podcast players offering so much more. You're probably going to want to wait for either a substantial price cut or at least an update that fills in the missing features.
