As a big fan of standup comedy, specifically Kevin Hart, I decided to download this app after seeing he was promoted as being a creator. Boy was I disappointed to find out that he’s nowhere to be found. After being initially disappointed that Kevin isn’t actually on the app I decided to still give ... Show more it a shot since I’ve invested the time into downloading it and that turned out to be a huge mistake. The place is like a ghost town, I’m fairly certain I’m the only fool dumb enough to have been on it trying to browse for content. I decided to look up this company and noticed it’s run by Ryan Kavanaugh (far as I could tell no relation to Brett Kavanaugh the “I like beer” guy) but he does have a striking resemblance to Harvey Weinstein. If you don’t get queasy over inputting your personal data into their system after looking at those 2 side by side you definitely have something wrong with you. After feeling a bit uneasy I decided to put my mind at easy by googling “Ryan Kavanaugh Fraud” and immediately the first result I get is an article from Variety, a pretty trusted source, stating an ex business partner of his is allegedly accusing him of running a Ponzi Scheme! After reading that I immediately deleted everything associated with this man and company. STAY AWAY! You don’t want this guy pulling a Bernie Madoff on you!

Seems like there’s more and more creative control taken with every update. Why are we still not able to control how long each video segment is up until it switches to another take? It completely stifles people’s visions for their videos and makes it much more streamlined than apps like Tik Tok. Sto... Show more p forcing videos to look a certain way and let people and creator edit how they’d like and this app might be competitive

Latest update: So now I can’t put an effect on each specific take of a song? The filter or effect now can only be applied to the whole video. Why was this implemented? Why does this app continue to take away control of how the video can look. I got old trillers that are so fun and edited, now everything seems so generic. Why is more and more control taken away from creators? It’s like you guys are pushing people towards TikTok, which has high levels of editing control. It’s almost insulting how generic this app has become. Can we please return to the older style where I can put filters on each take so there can be 4-5 different filters in a video. And why are we still not able to control how long the clips are on for? People don’t want the app to do everything for them, it makes it less fun to play around with

So I haven’t been on triller in a awhile. Before I just used to to create fun and care-free music videos to let loose while being stressed in college. Deciding that I wanted to get back to doing some of the things that made me happy and relaxed I re-downloaded the app. To my surprise they changed t... Show more he way they format your videos after recording. Before I would shuffle my videos and it randomly organized the videos with differ time lengths. It made it look like a real music video and matched up with the music. Now when you shuffle your videos, they are all the same time length. It just makes your video look choppy and unorganized. I know before they didn’t have an option to change the length of individual videos when you went to edit but with all these new changes they could have at least added that. I was looking firward to creating agin but now I have to try to find a new app that can give me what I want. Hopefully they can bring back an option on rather to randomize with either the same or different time length or give the option to change the length of each video to match to the sound used. Until then 1 star.
