It lags considerably. Unable to edit names on appointments. iPhone keyboard doesn't pop up.
So I tried to set up an account and couldn’t because it telling me my phone number was invalid. It’s a land line so I’m not sure how it’s now valid. I tried putting a 1,-, and () in it and still wouldn’t accept it. Sooooooo...... 🤷🏻♀️

I’ve tried to cancel Timely. They don’t make it easy.
They’re based in the UK.
They do not offer all of the features to US customers.
Save your money. It is a nightmare to pull an accurate report. Square integration is glichy, does not show paid appointments have to go back and reenter manually.
Through Timely , you can check out your appts or your staffs appts of the day and edit them. However, 1. Timely is super slow to load and use, almost to the point of being unusable. 2. You can only see the daily calendar view. 3. You can't see the full view of appts, only one staff member at a time. 4. There is no support inside Timely . 5. Perhaps most importantly, you can't send or receive new messages thru Timely - you can SEE the messages but you can't really do anything (I.e. Respond). This becomes a huge problem because this app sends a lot of texts out as a notification system and you can enable the customer to respond to the text. However, it comes from a standard 'system' number, so you don't get the responses to your own phone number. PLUS if you have different employees on the job remotely, you want them to be able to check one inbox of messages bc they certainly won't be getting real time updates to their phones (ie if a customer or employee is running late). Unfortunately, Timely does not able this to happen. I'll update this review if new actually useful messaging features come into play at some point.
I absolutely love this app, but it’s missing some major features, like monthly view. As a photographer, it’s crucial for me to be able to view my monthly agenda, without having to open my computer or go on safari to do so.
I would love the option to require clients to enter a card on file in order to book services, as well as the option to charge their card, if they don’t show up or cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
I stopped using Timely 3 months ago and no big updates have realized since... I’ve been patiently waiting to come back.
Will change my review when monthly view is added on.
I like it for basic scheduling and changing times but when it comes to sales- there is no ability to do that via Timely so I typically have to use the desktop site in addition to Timely .
It won’t allow me to set up an account because I “don’t have a valid telephone number”. I use my cell phone, so it would be helpful to have this fixed. Thank you.
I’d love to see notifications on my iPhone for Timely. When people respond using the SMS text feature, I’d like to know right away rather than periodically having to check my desktop computer.
this app looks amazing, first and foremost and I want to work with them in the future.
Timely scheduler directs you to the website where you need to sign up for a monthly account ($15-$20) I simply don't have the resources for that at the moment.
Otherwise it looks clean, well constructed, and the assistance was great. Easy to use!
I’ve been using this app for 3 years and I am really happy with it. The software is complete as far as it goes to all the features that is required for booking and receiving payments. All the reports and clients profile are wonderful.
Thank you and I will never go back as long as they keep it up and improving.
We did an extensive review of many, many products with an extensive criteria list. this app ended up on top in features and usability. In fact, this app was much, much more usable than all the other products we tested.
We are very happy with this app.
I’ve been using this app for a couple years now. I haven’t had any problems. I can book appointments from Timely on my phone or on my computer. It’s easy to reschedule an appointment. I like to keep notes on each client, so this allows me to do that. I love that I can add photos of clients as well. I highly recommend this app!
The latest version is great. I'm able to access customer notes easily. Can now navigate the days and weeks with multiple views. I'm so glad I was patient. Thanks for the upgrade. The only think now that would make it perfect would be if one could raise a sale through Timely ! (Yep, always wanting more;)
But this is a vast improvement making it worth every penny.
I have owned my Nail Salon business for 14 years. It had been a complete hassle to try to work to provide an income for my family, as well as, play phone tag to schedule future appointments to continue to grow my business. Timely has made and saved me so much money! It has allowed me to work and allow my customers to continue to make appointments! I love it!!!!!!
