The last version was more user friendly.
I can only start with Genesis 1 if I want to read scripture in ESVBible. If there is a way to pick a book off my choice, I’d love to hear it.
Books disappear with only page numbers available to see. Had issues with not being able to get out of ads also. Hopefully the issues will be resolved as I enjoy ESVBible when it works.
This bible has so many typo errors, its annoying. Words are written together with no spaces through this bible. As you start to read, an option for a daily bible verse pops up. When you go to the next verse an ad comes on. Way to distracting Went to the blue letter bible and way better than ESVBible.
Have iPhone 5 and am unable to access the book of Revelation due to the ADS at that part of the screen. Please fix it!
I use ESVBible regularly when I don’t have my Bible with me and after the update it won’t even open anymore. I get the first screen and then it automatically closes.
Ads on the bottom of the page are distracting and prevent you from seeing the scriptures at the bottom of the page. Also-way too many typos!
Was unable to copy more than one verse at a time.
Also, the verses lost their beginning number when I copied, therefore I will have to delete ESVBible .
The MP3 file recordings does not match up with the scriptures
I purchased ESVBible based on other reviews...what I Don't like about it is the ad at the bottom of the page. Really, was it necessary to place an ad in this bible app! it's very distracting!
I love the ESV version & I like ESVBible. I love that it can be used offline but I don’t like the mistakes it makes. When I use the word search feature it often mistakenly lists an OT verse as showing in the NT and vica versa. Word search is very important to me so that’s a big drawback but I still gave it 4 stars because it’s free & useful otherwise.
I appreciate ESVBible, however there are a few bugs that need to be worked out. The current version starts the New Testament at 2 Corinthians and shows Matthew - 1 Corinthians still in the Old Testament. The ads also annoy me, but I understand the necessity of ads in a free app.
I love that it is all the same for the actual esv bible. I tryed a app before this and they were cutting out verses and I thought that was wrong. So I deleted ESVBible and found you. Thanks!!
I have really appreciated this e-Bible. Particularly handy when traveling. I do get seriously annoyed with the advertisements and would like to block them!
I like the ability to mark each chapter as read.
I am really aggravated by the words running together.
Taking into consideration that everyone has an opinion on each version of the bible, I think the esv is a clear and readable version. As much as everyone uses their phones it just makes sense to have good version of the bible with you.
I know many people love their bibles and I truly understand, but for me, the ease of having an app on my iPad/iPhone has made reading and studying so easy and convenient as I always have those available during unexpected wait times.
I have downloaded many apps and think I've found the best free one so I thought I would share.
This is a great bible app and it has the ESV version but you can flip between other versions at the same time.
You can change the color, size and style of the font to make it easier to read as well as even have it read to you!
A few other perks include a word /verse search, a notebook, calendar, dictionary, reading plans, a quiz, and many others.
There may be other app's out there that are better, but I'm sticking with this one!
