As a Related resident in San Francisco, Hello Alfred is offered as an amenity in our building. My main complaint is that the vendors they use are not consistent in quality and customer service couldn’t care less. We previously used handy services which were AMAZING! But - I’m now doubtful I’ll ever use Alfred again after multiple home cleaning fiascos. Over a span of 4 months for a bi-weekly service, we’ve had our cleaning skipped entirely, have had a room skipped for what is supposed to be a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom service - and have been incorrectly charged for one-time service add-ons. If customer service wasn’t so difficult to reach, and these issues were remedied quicker, I wouldn’t be complaining. I understand mistakes are made. They’re closed on weekends, and my home cleaning is scheduled for Fridays. I’ve gone 5 days without a response on these issues… all as they happily charge my credit card. There is no emergency phone number to reach them in case of service issues. You’re just stuck, waiting for a chat response on their app from employees who rarely ever seem to be working.
