I wish I could say that TheVillages was useful but I’d be lying. The golf cart directions literally said nothing but turn on “multi-modal trail”. What does that even mean?! There are NO signs that say multimodal trail. On top of that the directions don’t reroute themselves if you take a wrong turn. Pay the $6.99 for the real golf cart app & save yourself a headache!

They can build a great community but their technology department leaves something to be desired. Before their most recent “update”, TheVillages consistently crashed when searching for homes. Now it just freezes and requires you to delete TheVillages and reinstall it. Come on TV, you can and should be doing much better than this!!!

My wife installed on her iphone, it kept crashing. She deleted & reinstalled, still crashing. We installed on my iphone, app won’t open, just a blank green screen. Deleted app & reinstalled on my iPhone again, same green screen. Pls get your act together & fix this.

When navigating you now changed the blue course to follow line to black and it’s harder to follow. Also your verbal directions still kill my Bluetooth music. I then have to go back to the music app to restart it UNTIL THE NEXT TURN DERAILS IT AGAIN !!!

If your objective was to push me to the Villages GPS app, it worked.

TheVillages never works correctly. It functions about 1 in 5 times . I have to shut my phone down and back on and even then it is still a good chance it will again malfunction. The older version at least worked better.

I continue to look and get kicked off TheVillages time and time again. As much as I’d like to target retirement in The Villages, I can’t help but think if the website is this bad, what’s it like living there. I’m giving it one more try and then I’ll move on to something better.

App CONSTANTLY CRASHES during house search!!! Called The Villages to complain. Can’t believe in this day & age when even my stupid solitaire app never crashes, that a large corporation like The Villages would let these problems continue with TheVillages. C’mon, read the reviews - it’s happening to everyone who uses it for house searches. Why spend money on advertising if you can’t fix your app when people actually want to search for a house??? Get this fixed, no excuses! Been going on for years!!!

App no longer loads. Freezes at a green screen and goes no further. Rebooting, reloading, refreshing all fail.

Does anyone at the villages beta test the updates? They’re many people having the same issue. Check Facebook and you will find them.

Just one more cheap shortcut taken by The Villages.

The recent updates have made thins much worse. TheVillages crashes constantly. It won’t load up anymore. I have deleted it and tried the next download on 3 separate occasions and it still won’t open. I never had problems before the recent updates. I relied heavily upon it before. I hope “they “ fix it soon.

Please fix/stop the ‘migrating’ pop ups, it obviously isn’t doing anything. Please fix the sign in issue- no matter when I try to sign in, it never connects, the connection just spins and leaves one with a white screen- no matter which device I try signing in on.
Can’t save favorites, I’m not even sure what else TheVillages is supporting be useful for, as I am unable to secure a connection. Please fix TheVillages.

I have deleted and reinstalled TheVillages and changed password several times. I always get a message of missing information profile. How do I resolve this problem?

Unfortunately the Villages navigate stopped working for my wife and I thus putting us on a restricted road. How can this happen with the fact so many have reported problems with the Villages app yet the problem continues?

Every time and I do mean EVERY TIME I use TheVillages after 4 or 5 minutes it starts flickering and shuts down. Which means starting my search over. I can never get anything accomplished.

Why is there zero information given about activities? It lists the time and place but that’s all. You never know if the music is practice or a performance? What equipment is required for various exercise classes? Do the dance lessons start new or am I trying to join with a class that started weeks ago? It’s infuriating and could easily be remedied if anyone cared.

This is the most infuriating app I have EVER used. I contacted support and they said I probably “had too many open files” on my phone. I had my husband get TheVillages . It closes on him constantly, as well. We are trying to find a house and it’s infuriating to have it close mid search or if I find one I like and want to screenshot or jot it down. I’m hoping this is not a reflection of The Villages and that someone is actually trying to fix the problems.

Both me and my wife have iPhones. With version 3.1.18 we could not use the Villages app. It is now working for both of us because we updated the iOS from 14 to 15. Hope this helps.

I actually enjoy TheVillages but it refuses to let me sign in. It takes the credentials but then the circle spins and TheVillages locks up. As long as I’m not trying to log in, everything appears to mostly work. Wish they would fix this. I’ve tried rebooting TheVillages , deleting and reinstalling, and rebooting my iPad. It doesn’t work on any of my iDevices so I’m certain it’s a kiss on the developers part.

TheVillages is helpful for knowing generally what businesses and amenities there are available, it gives the hours for them too which is great! It does seem like there needs to be fixes as far as clicking on further links like website/directions, it just leads me to a blank screen.

The radio station button no longer works in TheVillages . Please fix and repair.

TheVillages is so helpful! I can wake up each morning to click on all the activities for the day, the week and later in the month. It allows me to purchase tickets and get updates on event changes. I also like to look at the cam to see which town square has a great crowd of dancers to watch and enjoy. I also enjoy seeing the houses for sale, open houses and the prices. It’s just a great app!! Thank you this app Team for keeping TheVillages updated! JackieRB
