Super sweet voice, but sadly HolyRosary comes across as one who doesn’t know the Rosary very well, although the intention is pure and honors God and Our Lady, there are errors in the Fatima prayer after the mysteries on two levels: 1) it is not recited after the theological virtues of faith, hope and charity, but after the 5 mysteries of the decades, as Our Lady asked It to be recited after each mystery and by reciting after the 3 virtues would make the rosary 6 mysteries, right? Also, I was alarmed when the prayer was recited with a seriously wrong word: “Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins and save us “in”the fires of Hell....WHAT??? The preposition is “from” the fires of Hell. This was recited 6 times. Also, there is the lack of the concluding prayer to the rosary: “Oh God, Whose only Begotten Son by His life, death and resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of eternal salvation, grant, we beseech Thee, that by meditating upon these mysteries of the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain, and obtain what they promise through the same Christ, Our Lord! Amen!

Perhaps a RE-recording can be done? Then this would be 5 stars!!! God bless you!!

I love HolyRosary and how much it has increased my daily rosary prayers. When I try to connect to a car using the car’s Bluetooth connection, I have regular problems. My music app on my iPhone plays automatically and tries to compete with the rosary app. HolyRosary icon says it is playing, but the audio from HolyRosary is agilely paused. Then I pause my music app and hit the pause button on the rosary app and it plays but the cycle repeats automatically about every minute. Not sure why HolyRosary doesn’t trump other audio apps on my iPhone.

I like to say the Rosary out loud & in a group setting but, was never able to when I was alone at home.

HolyRosary allows me to say the Rosary out loud without feeling like I am by myself. It is very basic & requires an understanding of how to say the Rosary as well as how to recite all the prayers. The correct mysteries automatically appear with each day or you can easily change them if needed.

The lovely paintings for each mystery are helpful in staying focused. The entire Rosary is said quickly, just under 20 mins, but also reverently. I would highly recommend to all Catholics.

I have been educated in the Catholic Church up to 10th grade back in the sixties. I left the church after my first marriage. When I married my second husband we went to the Episcopal Church which was more accepting of second marriages than the Catholic Church.

After the death of my second husband and the death of my mother, I have returned to the Catholic Church.

I am relearning the Rosary. I was not aware of the Holy Mysteries. I am very grateful for HolyRosary which automatically brings me the correct mysteries of the day. I appreciate HolyRosary very much. I say the Rosary with HolyRosary in the mornings now, and feel a peace and a commitment to the church I grew up with from childhood.

Thank you for all the effort and professionalism that you have put into this Rosary app. You are bringing a lot of peace and joy to me and others who use HolyRosary.

I have been listening to this rosary app for about two months and thoroughly enjoy it. I love that you can set the speed on HolyRosary . I am encouraging the developer to create an option so that all four decades play continuously. While riding my bike each day I have to stop and load the next mystery. It would be helpful if all four would run without stopping. Maybe the Lord just wants me to take a break ever so often. Thanks for a great app.

I used it for my family,I have been trying to get them to fall in love with Mary so she can guide them to Jesus,which is how I started many years ago I’m a faithful prayer of the Rosary I have seen many changes in my life and others because I pray it , I do wish it had the litany which would make it perfect for me , also if it could be in Spanish ! That would make it even better,thank you

I was at church three weeks ago and I forgot my rosary. I wanted to say the rosary but didn’t have it. The old rosary app I had with my iPhone was gone after the iOS update. Didn’t work. I bumped into HolyRosary by accident. Downloaded it in the solemnity of the church I was in. I was stunned. When I opened it, I didn’t realize that it was an audio file! I felt quite good praying the rosary with HolyRosary and with my iPods on. Truly felt like I had my family with me. The audio recording was very eloquently recorded. It’s just a gift you know. I can be on my own and feel that I am with a community, praying the rosary together. Beautiful. Thank you!

There are many reasons to LOVE HolyRosary!
1. HolyRosary opens up automatically on the day that you are praying (no scrolling to find assigned mystery for day).
2. It’s not recited in King James Version English, which can be distracting to a 12 year old (who I now have learning and reciting the rosary with me).
3. Playback speed is controllable (but I think this applies for other rosary apps I’ve tried).
4. It displays what is to be meditated upon when the mystery is declared. I honestly have not known at times WHY or WHAT to meditate during the rosary.
5. As previously stated perfect for group (even if that group is only comprised of 2 people), and independent (I will play it in my car and pray it while running errands).

This is the best rosary app I’ve found and I’ve tried them all. I really look forward to praying it and have even been inspired to pray more than 1 per day! ( That hasn’t happened before! ) User friendly, good pace, great images, includes the virtue for each mystery, easily can be paused if I need to catch up or renew my prayer intention....All around just helps me pray better and more frequently! Criticism is ok but nitpicking? Good Grief the prayers we say are varied but this gives a decent framework for even those not familiar with the rosary. For me it’s a great starting point. And for that matter a wonderful app for the hardcore rosary sayers.

I have used HolyRosary with KofC rosary during advent and lent. I use this when I am long drives, I use it everywhere quite honestly. It’s free. It has the basics. It may have some regional differences in the prayers we say but what of it?

I recommend HolyRosary above others because it is simple even senior citizens who are not as tech savvy can use it easily. Keep up the good work. I like the picture updates with each mystery. Reminds me of my childhood bible. Lots of nostalgia. Loads of functional value. Stable and reliable app. Definitely recommended.

Want world peace? Say a rosary or two.

I grew up in a large Catholic family. We would get on our knees and pray the rosary. After 70 years of praying, my mind would wander and it became rote.
I do believe St Lucia of Fatima when she professed “There is no problem, I tell you no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot solve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary”
Thank you for this inspirational app! The pictures are lovely and it has brought back my love of the rosary.

Like others have stated, HolyRosary helps me say the rosary daily before bed. There was a 1 star review (which I think is rather harsh). Not sure if the recording said “in” or “from”. And, I’ve heard quite a few rosaries which include the Fatima prayer after the Glory Be with the 3 Hail Marys at the beginning of the rosary. The voice of the leader is very nice and everything is recited at a nice pace. I particularly love the images...they are same images in my “Pray the Rosary” pamphlet dated 1973 by Rev. J.M. Lelen, PhD when I received my first rosary after my first communion.

I love HolyRosary. I’ve been using two others - one that’s only available in Spanish to pray with you and an American one - that was quite good. What I absolutely love about this one is that it allows me to choose traditional rosary without the luminous mysteries. These were OPTIONAL mysteries that were added not a permanent addition. Therefore they’re not part of the original mysteries and shouldn’t be prayed as the ‘regular’ rosary. HolyRosary has the option of setting it up like this. Thank You So Much for HolyRosary. I have a hard time praying the rosary alone and HolyRosary works wonders! It is like praying with a group of devoted people. It is so well done and renders a peaceful atmosphere along with the appropriate image for each mystery during rectal. I’m not sure how I came upon HolyRosary and would love to forward it to other family members for their spiritual benefit but I’m not sure how to do it. I don’t see anywhere on HolyRosary where it can be forwarded. Can you help me? Sincere Thanks! Five Stars!,

I truly love HolyRosary of the holy rosary. I listen to
HolyRosary in my iPhone during my daily morning walk. I especially like that it keeps me on track with the days of the week and the corresponding mysteries bc I tend to forget what day it is. Reciting my rosary while outdoors helps me appreciate the world God has made for us all while allowing me to meditate on the mysteries. I use it everyday, sometimes 3-4 times a day bc it's so portable and convenient. I feel much closer to our Blessed Mother when I've said my daily rosary and HolyRosary helps me maintain that relationship.

I truly cannot thank you enough for creating HolyRosary. I am a Catholic returning to the faith after almost 20 years of being astray. You have restored my love for the Rosary that I forgot I had. I have been listening to and praying with this every night since I discovered it.
Tonight, my 8 year old son took my phone from me while he was laying in bed with me and held it. He asked what I was doing and I told him I was praying. He then continued to cradle it in his hands looking over the photos as they came on the screen. He then peacefully fell asleep.

HolyRosary is very useful and helpful. Importantly, you can vary the speed of the prayers. Catholics have a habit of praying MUCH slower than they usually talk- annoying. This is the only free rosary app I could find with this feature.
Additionally there is an image for each decade which helps me to meditate more effectively on that mystery. For me it is hard to say the rosary alone and HolyRosary helps keep me focused. I am very grateful for it.
Thank you to the creator of HolyRosary for providing such a helpful aide to prayer. And thanks to our Creator who loves us and deserves our praise.

I am 58 and used to say the Rosary when we nieces and nephews spent the night with our great aunt and uncle. They said it every night after dinner and we all got to choose a Rosary from their collection.

I tried to say the Rosary each day, but I would fall asleep or my mind would wander. When I found HolyRosary I was so happy. It keeps me focused and I look at the paintings on the screen throughout. I look forward to my Rosary every morning.

I would suggest that the developer update the images every now and then so we have variety.

In the past, I would say the Rosary, but that was all I did--say it but not pray it. I love using the Holy Rosary app. I usually use a prayer book at the same time, reading/saying the words in my mind. Listening keeps me on target and my mind wanders so much less. I have a list of names of those I am praying for. Saying the Rosary with HolyRosary helps me to add my prayer list and still move forward with the prayers.
The young woman has a most pleasant voice, and she is easy to listen to.
