If you want video service that never works and then you can’t get anybody to come out and fix it they want you to do everything over the phone but it’s so technical it’s retarded then it breaks down again then you have to actually beg them then it breaks down again and you get annoyed but the tech is annoyed because I’m upset because the cameras don’t work the new ones yeah Everything starts out perfect the person very pleasant put the cameras on everything‘s great four months later it stops working then I have to beg the person to come back then the person doesn’t come back the cameras don’t work and then they blame it on you and it’s a power surge even if you have a power protector it doesn’t work according to the EZVue staff so you have a power surge or you buy it and then it doesn’t work and no power surges ever work that’s what they told me these cameras constantly stop working constantly this is the worst company ever but I will try another company because now the person who installed them is mad at me because for two months After I gave him the money it worked for three months and then it completely stopped working but everybody’s too busy

EZViewUNV used to work fine on WiFi and cellular. Now it no longer works on cellular and just gives “connection timeout” error messages. I can no longer view live or playback videos unless I connect to a WiFi location. This is unacceptable for surveillance system.

If this is rectified I would give EZViewUNV 5 stars, but without support for cellular data usage EZViewUNV and my expensive surveillance system are almost useless.

First of all I’m not sure if it’s EZViewUNV or the cameras EZViewUNV partners with but the uptime is like less then a week as I’m always running into resets or other issues. So many times it just starts showing another persons security feed. Like offices and homes which is very alarming and is a huge privacy concern. If you bought camera that made you get his app just go return it asap.

Useless for monitoring your property.
VERY S-L-O-W to move your PTZ camera. I have very fast fiber optic Internet. Even when using EZViewUNV in the same location as the NVR it’s torturously slow to move the camera. You can turn off the auto-shuts down requiring intervention to get it going again. Trying to control PTZ cameras is a nightmare. You send a request to move the camera and nothing happens for 20 to 30 seconds. Extremely frustrated. Pure torture to use. I had a better user experience using analog security systems in the 1980s.

Horrible service! Always a lag with pulling up my cameras. Can’t get the right time set on my cameras from EZViewUNV. Says my cameras need update but every-time I do it gives me an error message. I do the update again and it says completed only for me to close EZViewUNV out and go back in to the cameras needing the same update! It’s stupid. Find a different service. Do Not use EZViewUNV! Trash….

I had problems before I updated EZViewUNV and even after I updated I’m having problems. None of my cameras are loading and it says my whole device is offline even though they work on my wife’s phone.
On top of that even on my wife’s phone, she is having problems. She had to remove the whole camera and add it back to live view for it to load. Every day it’s the same problem. None of the cameras load for her.
I don’t even know how to explain my problems.

Have cameras all over the house and they now won’t connect to EZViewUNV and will only show on the home monitors. We’ve called customer service multiple times and they all say something different that NEVER works. Also, don’t be lazy and put your app description in ENGLISH for the American app, where most of your customers are. Everything about this company and app scream shady. You won’t receive the help you need to fix your cameras, don’t but this. Developers welcome to attempt justify this, but there’s no justification. I expected safety when my family purchased this and all I’ve gotten is non stop headaches, mainly trying to understand horribly spoken English from Chinese people located in China. I feel like I’m in the 90’s with a Dell computer all over again. DON’T BUY THEIR ITEMS!

How do you contact customer service? Can’t find that anywhere so if the system goes down for any reason including the power goes out and comes back or EZViewUNV updates and the unit goes offline it’s impossible to get help. If there is any customer support email address or number I would sure like to know what it is. My cameras are offline and I don’t know how to get them back.

Almost every time I try to use EZViewUNV there is some connection issue that forces me to reset EZViewUNV to view the cameras, even if it does work it takes half a minute to connect. I also can’t export recorded video from my phone because of some compression bug. There are multiple bugs when using PTZ functions, good luck if you try to follow someone because the camera will either only move in tiny increments where you have to keep tapping the direction you want it to move or it will jump and rotate way past what you’re trying to look at. Look into other systems before you go with this.

I love the cameras. I love the quality and the night vision is great. However, EZViewUNV is not good at all. It takes time to load and I often have the exit EZViewUNV and go back in to get the views. Also when playing back, it’s a bit tricky to get the view that you are looking for because it either goes too far back or ahead and it takes a few tries of scrolling or fast forwarding to get the image you want. PLEASE add a speed rewind like you have for the fast forward. Thanks

Only works 50% of the time, for no reason it will not connect. Look at video one minute and the next minute it just won’t work! Besides connection problems you can not export videos to phone or anything else because the file is always to large.

I’m always having issues viewing my system remotely. Camera picture quality is great , but does not come across clean with motion. Video jumps in and out on playback.
After updates the system is non functional for remote viewing.
I would rather have an InvidTech system or KT&C system, they are reliable and don’t have these systemic issues!

Please get your app running right!

Ok but constantly freezes as soon as you open EZViewUNV . I have to close it and swipe thru screens and it may take seconds to minutes to finish buffering.
Overall the user friendly of EZViewUNV and the image is great but need to work on the buffering and freezing.

For some I can only have access to cameras when I’m on wifi at home or any other wifi. But it doesn’t work when I’m on cellular data. Which is not good. I wanna have access to my cameras anywhere I go

With Q See going out of business, this will be my app to connect to my system. Works well on wifi and LTE both. You just have to configure LTE and WiFi as two different devices in the menu.
Directions for this is on Q See’s website, or what’s left of it.

App works great with my Q-See Presidio NVR but when I use my iPad to monitor the cameras in Live View it will repeatedly pop up a dialog with the message “No activity for a while. Video will pause in (xxs).” In the now unavailable Q-See Presidio app I could turn this off, so how to turn this off in EZView?

Been using for over a year. It works with my seven cameras without any issues. Sometimes you have to refresh EZViewUNV or close it out on your phone and reopen it depending on your Wi-Fi etc. But overall I really like the interface and really no complaints using it on my iPhone

So far so good. App has been more stable than others I have used. Installing these systems for clients and I appreciate how powerful the mobile app is now.

For the past 2 years I have had EZViewUNV and check in on my cameras randomly and I have never had an issues once getting connected to any of the 6 cameras that I have. The video may not be peak resolution at first but after a few seconds in catches up to the selected resolution. So happy with it. I have different cameras for inside and I can not say the same thing about connecting to those for viewing.

Using EZViewUNV for 7 years, 35 locations, don’t use the cloud option, always direct connection. So far the best CCTV system for the money out there.
