My Stop accesses GPS data and gives parents and guardians secure access to information on where their child’s school bus is and what time it is expected to be at their stop. My Stop also provides notifications when a student scans on or off the bus, or when the bus is late leaving the garage. School districts can also send mass notifications to all subscribed users to inform them of general information such as school delays and closings. Versatrans My Stop is only available to families in school districts that use Versatrans to manage student transportation. Does exactly what it’s is designed to do!
It lets me see where my child’s bus is!! It even has an approximate time of arrival but if a bus stop is skipped due to a sick child then that time is not accurate, but that doesn’t matter because I can actually SEE the bus and I know when it will be here. Don’t expect it to be able to predict real world changes like accidents and sick students or those things, that’s impossible. Expect it to show you where your child’s bus is and you’ll be happy. We did have some trouble getting it set up; but once again this was the schools fault and the app developers did everything required to get me going ASAP

While our school doesn’t seem to use all the features, like scanning on and off the bus, this app has been a big help. Especially one day when my son left his sports gear bag on the bus when coming home for a long weekend. After a few minutes of panic when he came in the door without it, I could pull up this app and see that his bus was now sitting at the neighborhood elementary school waiting for it’s next run. We drove over and met the bus (the driver was shocked that we’d found him!) and got the bag. This app saved the day!

Great resource!
The app works perfectly for my elementary child, but for some reason it’s glitchy for my middle schooler’s. I can easily and quickly switch from one child to the other within the same login. I am not sure if the problems I’m having with not being able to access info on my middle schooler is a software problem or maybe the bus’ hardware is faulty. Other than that, I really appreciate this resource! One suggestion to make it more interesting: change the arrow icon that represents bus arriving at bus stop to a pac-man symbol... imagine how funny that would be 😂 this was a joke in one of our school’s group and I really had to make a suggestion for that! 🙌🏻
