I got this as a Christmas present this year and was really excited at first. However, I’m not crazy about the fact that you have to make an account to print you photos. I’ve had so many issues with LifeprintPrinters so far. If I put more than one picture in the queue, it will only print the first one repeatedly, even if I’ve only selected it to print one copy. I often have to resort to taking the rest of the film out of the printer. Not only that, but to delete a picture from my queue, I have to restart LifeprintPrinters completely which is often a huge waste of time. It also hasn’t been letting me print hyperphotos at all. I’ll go through the whole process, but then get a notification saying that it can’t process the image, and to try again in a few minutes. As for the quality of the photos, I personally like the somewhat grainy effect it has for the most part, but for other pictures that are supposed to look very vibrant, the dullness is just inconvenient and annoying. Overall, I enjoy having a way of printing out my favorite pictures, but I wish the development team would do a better job on locating and fixing the bugs.

Just opened my LifePrint printer and selected a few photos to decorate my office. For whatever reason, the printer will only print the first photo in the cue, and then stalls out. If you turn the printer off and back on, it will only print the first photo. If you uninstall LifeprintPrinters and redownload it, it will only print the first photo. You cannot edit or delete photos from the cue. Long story short, I have four identical photos and no way to fix the issue. I’ve reached out to the Lifeprint support team, and we’ll see what they have to say. I’m quite unimpressed so far. LifeprintPrinters is not functional or easy to use, the print quality is ok, and the FAQ has not been helpful to me. I do like photo sticker thickness and sticking ability, but that’s it so far. Help!

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with LifeprintPrinters. I just received my printer two days ago. The printer I chose was $160 or $140 not including printing paper which is not cheap to me. Prior to purchase there was absolutely no mention that my purchase and ability to print photos or Hyperphotos was contingent upon whether or not LifeprintPrinters was overwhelmed or busy!?! In the manual and instructions there zero mention of the apps issues which quite frankly is deceiving to consumers. I hope there is another way to print the photos whiteout using LifeprintPrinters otherwise I’ll be returning my printer ASAP. The problems I have listed are not new and have been addressed by other consumers!

Received the Lifeprint as a gift and was excited to try it however I am very disappointed with the results. App is HORRIBLE. I had to keep quitting out of LifeprintPrinters before printing a new photo. Also, if you don’t delete a photo from the queue right away it prints twice for some reason? Quality of the photos when printed are BAD. I was expecting some difference since that is normal for any photo printer however this was just ugly. The top of each photo had a weird fade as if it ran out of ink and all photos had a blue tint to them for some reason. Grainy and bad quality prints overall. Extremely disappointed and upset I can’t return. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!!

I got the printer as a Christmas gift and I honestly wish they would have just saved their money. The quality of the prints are really bad. They make all the pictures look like a grainy flip phone picture from 2008. LifeprintPrinters has so many errors I can’t even keep count. And the whole “picking a frame from a video to print out and then see the video” thing just seems complicated and pointless. If you want to see the video, just watch the video lol. It’s also annoying that you have to sign up for LifeprintPrinters just to print a photo. Another password I’ll never remember for an app that just takes up space on my phone. Save your time and money and avoid it.

I had this for about 6 months and it worked perfectly fine at first but then after the first couple of photos it just didn’t do what I wanted it to. I tried to print 4 pictures recently and they were all in the queue but after the first picture it printed my screen froze and it didn’t print anything else. I closed out and opened LifeprintPrinters again and it printed the same exact photo twice when I didn’t want that. It wouldn’t let me edit any pictures like it says you can. After I edited a picture I’d press the print button but then the screen would freeze and you couldn’t do anything except close out of LifeprintPrinters and start over.

I was so excited about this product. When I first bought it and downloaded LifeprintPrinters it worked (about 3-4 weeks ago). Now? I can’t login to LifeprintPrinters making this printer useless. This phone, another phone (that was previously able to connect) and nothing. I can’t login with an email nor through Facebook. Even making a new account doesn’t work. I reached out to customer service. They responded to my problem within hours requesting more info, which I sent. I followed up after week of silence with them asking for it again. Sent again. It’s been over a week and nothing. About to return the printer to find something that actually works.

I have consistent issues with printing. Pictures don’t clear from the queue after printing so I have to delete them or they print over again any time I open it, which wastes the paper. LifeprintPrinters freezes when attempting to turn off hyperphoto to print a still. Those are just a few recent issues, but there have been more. It is unendingly frustrating to have things print when I didn’t want them to or not print when I do and having to spend way too much time trying to work around things to just get a picture to print. Really disappointed.

LifeprintPrinters doesn’t work when connected to a China cell network or China internet. Once you click LifeprintPrinters , it just gets stuck in the blurry grey loading screen, and never continues. They literally sold this in Apple stores in China, you would think someone would have done the due diligence to check that it actually works in China.

Fine, I get on VPN and LifeprintPrinters can at least work. It’s tells me I need to update firmware, afterwards, machine will turn off by itself. Except when I turn it back on and reconnect, it tells me I need to download firmware again. This cycle endlessly repeats. No way to print photos.

Complete waste of money. I just wanted something simple to print photos. Instead I got garbage.

The printer is not cheap, and for that money LifeprintPrinters should work much better. I’ve never written an app review, but LifeprintPrinters is just disappointing. I loved the little printer and I was very excited to get it, but LifeprintPrinters makes it frustrating and almost impossible to use. Everytime I go to print a picture it prints the first one twice, even if I set it to just one copy. You have to restart LifeprintPrinters the get it to print another picture, and even then it still prints the first picture AGAIN. LifeprintPrinters also tells you that the printer needs to be charged even if it is plugged in. It does not hold battery for very long, I always have to plug it in when I use it and spend 20 minutes trying to print 2 pictures because of how glitchy LifeprintPrinters is. It wastes the picture papers because it always prints double everytime you print a picture. LifeprintPrinters creators need to come out with an update because most people are having the same issues.

This has got to be one of the worst apps ever. Considering how much you pay for the printer...i wasn’t expecting it to have these issues. I got this product for Christmas last year...only used it a few times since. Never bought a refill for the film that it came with so yeah..barely used it. Every time I turn it on to print pictures, LifeprintPrinters always says I have an update. Ok great, I let it update. I turn it back on and reconnect and ANOTHER UPDATE? Okay...third time..another update?? But this time it just stays at 0%..no progress...15 mins elapsed. LifeprintPrinters doesn’t even work. If it doesn’t work, can’t even use the product. Don’t waste your money on this item! You can tell by the other reviews people have complained about this issue since January so it just goes to show how they didn’t prioritize fixing it.

This is a great concept but LifeprintPrinters is just horrible. I printed a photo and shared with my husband so that he can view it via LifeprintPrinters and he keeps getting a message saying “you do not have permission to view this hyperphoto” I’ve made the photo public and even made my profile public and it doesn’t work. As for adding/requesting my husband as a follower, that doesn’t even work! LifeprintPrinters just sends links for invitation to LifeprintPrinters and that link directs you to the website with a 404 error. Lifeprint needs a serious major update of their software. The whole idea of this is useless without an effective app. I was excited at first but now I’m considering returning the printer.

Another thing, the printer itself runs out of battery life very quickly, you have to make sure to keep your charging cable handy, AND have an adapter with you as it doesn’t come with one.

The last update of LifeprintPrinters was 3 months ago... Sorry Lifeprint, you have to do better!

Honestly, I loved the whole concept of it and was willing to try it out, but was disappointed with it overall. I think the printer part is okay, not much to expect from a small printer, the pictures may turn out darker and have more contrast than expected, but it’s not too bad. My biggest problem is with LifeprintPrinters though. The queue never erases pictures that have already printed so I always have to manually delete it from there. LifeprintPrinters doesn’t seem to let you print more than one picture at a time so I always have to exit and close LifeprintPrinters before I print another one. In addition, the hyperphoto aspect doesn’t even work. I’ve printed out the same video multiple times, some with the same thumbnail, some with a different thumbnail, but the videos never seem to play. The printer also loses battery easily. Overall, pretty disappointed by it. I think with a few fixes and updates, it would actually be an amazing app.

I love the convenience, size, and idea behind this little printer but it falls short on delivery. I tried numerous times to print the hyper photos. It has locked up LifeprintPrinters now a dozen times! I uninstalled it, twice, tried to do it without making any edits to the photo and still it did not work. The still photos printed just fine. But the feature of being able to scan and see a 15 second clip of the video from a still image is amazing if it worked. Iwill return it customer service can’t shed any light on this after the holiday weekend. It’s a shame, I loved it.

I honestly don’t write many reviews but using this printer and App are by far the worst and most frustrating experiences I’ve had with tech in a LONG time. My printer is stuck printing the same photo for an hour now with no way to delete the job from its queue. I’ve tried deleting LifeprintPrinters , unpairing the Bluetooth and nothing works. The printer was charging all night long but the second I go to print it’s out of battery. LifeprintPrinters is clunky and has frozen up on me multiple times. Do not waste your money on this.

The printer itself is fine & prints good quality photos for the size & aspect of it. The problem I’m having is with LifeprintPrinters . When I go to print a photo, sometimes it doesn’t upload the image, so I’ll have to cancel & close LifeprintPrinters and retry. If that still doesn’t work, I have to completely uninstall LifeprintPrinters for it to work again. If I exit LifeprintPrinters then I have to start all over because it goes back to not printing or just hanging out in the queue and not doing anything. It’s very frustrating!!!

I really dislike LifeprintPrinters. I edit my photos outside of LifeprintPrinters and when I go to print them I have to go through a long series of prompts to edit it again, after LifeprintPrinters has reverted my image to the original, removing all my previous edits. It freezes all the time, forcing me to hard close it, losing all my edits, and starting over. I finally got one photo printed and it’s poor quality. I was really hoping this printer would be good but poor printing quality and an infuriating app makes this a major bummer of a purchase.

I have a bad memory, I bought this to be able to print phots and put in my journal to help me remember. I love the hyper photo option. I do not use it often so this “but”is a small one: but, I’ve noticed when I try to crop for certain video fragments, it will not let me print it. I have tried turning it off, uninstalling, resetting whole phone AND printer, nothing. Well boo. I’ve had this problem also when trying to add borders, or pictures.
But again, no biggie for me, they are nice perks but not a biggie.
My BIGGIE is this- sometimes my pictures print out crystal clear with crisp lines and it’s amazing, then other times they print out grainy. At first I was okay with this, new printer, just working out bugs. But it’s been a while now, and it still does it. I take time with my pictures, especially my children. Why does it look so crisp on the phone but so grainy on the picture? Ok that pisses me off.
Overall I like it, but can you work out some of these bugs? It’s be greatly appreciated. <3

EDIT: With a firmware update it seems to have fixed most of the problems. Not at it printed 2 more copies of that same photo (totally 5 now)

Bought this a year ago and it's been in storage (forgot I had it) went to use it today for a project and LifeprintPrinters is broken. It freezes when I try to print, when it does print it doesn't clear the queue and move on to the next print (I now have 3 copies of the same print). The developers need to focus on fixing these issues, the paper for this is pricy and I don't want to waste any more...

I NEVER write reviews for apps but I feel like I need to stand up for this one. A lot of people are complaining about LifeprintPrinters but everything works for me! Yes, there are bugs and it freezes sometimes but you HAVE to give these developers some credit. I am a software engineer and this stuff is hard, especially augmented reality. So for my final opinion, LifeprintPrinters could use a couple bug fixes but do not let that stop yourself from getting a life printer!
