For an RPG game, this game beats out all the others. The level of detail within each characters role is unlike any other rpg games I play. Characters even get their own background story. There’s always events and updates going on every other week to keep existing players entertained while giving new players a load of free items. Forget what other reviewers say about this game requiring you to pay money to get good at the game. Grind in adventure mode for items, heroes and jewels. Fuse 3 star heroes for a chance at special heroes (happens pretty often so rng is fair). Play in other little events to get rewarded with in game currency to purchase other items to advance your level. The amount of opportunities this game gives you to get new characters and better items is insane. Sometimes an update will include a month full of crazy rewards like a maxed out special hero or a selector box for a rare item. That’s the other thing too, everything in this game is obtainable free to play. And the difficulty to obtain these items are easy-medium, because all of the best items can be bought via the in game currency you receive by playing those event games. Lastly, the developers are constantly updating this game with new events, heroes and items. So you’ll never get bored of this game. Even when you hit a brick wall and can not advance, wait around for an event to show up and you’ll get free stuff to help your progression.

I love this game. I really do. It’s just that the maintenance is ridiculous. I expect to have it sometimes but when the times aren’t right it’s really annoying. For example, today they released a new character and I was excited to play. I expected to be able to start at 7:00 when the maintenance ended but to my surprise they extended it to 8:00. Now I’m not just writing this review because it happened once, it happens almost all the time and sometimes they even extend it 3 hours from the regular scheduled time. I’d have no problem if you guys only miscalculated every once in a while but come on! It is really that hard to judge how much time you need for maintenance Netmarble? Other than that one simple problem the game is fantastic. It has a rich storyline and tons of characters. The only thing is the arena. I understand certain characters are good in PvP but it seems a little ridiculous when I get beaten by 5 lvl 30’s when my characters are level 40 and up. There are a lot of neat debuffs in the game, so much so that you can really build a party around them and crank out CC, DOT, or literally kill an entire team with a couple of stacks of another. However, if you’re thinking of pursuing anything but raw damage, you’re in for a disappointing experience considering that only 2 game modes - Campaign and Arena (maybe Guild War too) - allow debuffs. It’s worse considering that there’s a decent amount of PVE content to work through; Guild Rush, Guild Raid, 3 item (gear, accessory, gem) raids, 3 daily dungeons (gold, rank up material, gear), event dungeons (usually 3 at a time), Heavenly Stairs (not like classic “endless” tower at all), and there’s even a world boss type mode where you can’t use any of your character’s skills. You literally have abilities that improve the effectiveness of burn, bleed, poison, and increased damage against stunned and frozen enemies...but you can’t use any of this. Mind you, over 34 out of 44 of the end game “mythical awakened” characters have at least one debuff skill...that’s over 3/4 of these characters.

Maybe my memory fails me, but I seem to remember there was more content too, or perhaps it was reworked (which if that’s the case, it’s worse than before).

Honestly, the game is mediocre at best. You’ll get a lot of free boosts to get your account up to snuff with some of the long timers, but the content simply isn’t there...or if it is, it’s debuff immune.

This game has potential to be a good game but the developers care way too much about profits. Expect to play for a year before you get a half decent team, unless you feel like spending uncomfortable sums of money. This game was designed to be entirely financially focused, every aspect of the game consists of ALOT of waiting and grinding unless you wanna spend 100’s of dollars. Unlike most games that are pay to play, seven knights will charge you upwards of 20$ for the equivalent of advancing your team .2%. The “arena” is completely rigged and so are many of the dungeons where the computer will make you lose in battles that there should be no way you can lose just to keep you from advancing too fast. Almost all new characters are immediately over powered to a level where they render your developed characters entirely useless, and youd better be prepared to either spend a lot of money every update or grind for the rest of your young life to build a new team. Oh and just incase you commit your time/money to the point where you finally do have a good team, prepare for extremely unsatisfying victories, boring gameplay, and pathetic losses bc the computer will match you with people more than 7 times your ranking in dimensional arena (the only place you can actually control your teams abilities in pvp). If your rich, and love wasting time on repetitive boring gameplay, this is your game!

Iv played this game for roughly 5 years now and it used to be for a long time my favorite mobile game. It had everything (nice animation, cool characters, amazing skills, f2p aspects, lots of gifts) but over time one key thing has been ruining this game, to much added content, now you may think how is added content bad? Well in seven knights case the added content was adding very expensive character development in terms of skill leveling character awakenings, strengthening, they added way to much to the point where maxing a character as a f2p person can take months and to have a full meta team you need to upgrade the newest available hero which a new one comes almost every month sometimes even sooner. Keeping up in the meta is absolutely impossible because the newest hero’s are always overpowered and fit into some team someone comes up with and everyone has to use otherwise trust me you won’t stand a chance, also from the fact of gameplay wise like stages and such, no more has been added to story in 2-3 years so yeah you will get bored very fast when the only thing that you can really do is pvp and you can’t be competitive without paying lots of money, in summary the game is dead except for p2p players, don’t invest your time in it it’s not worth it anymore

At first I thought this was going to be just another pay to win piece of garbage you can find all over SevenKnights Store. But now I’ve been playing it for months and I love every single aspect of this game. The characters are well designed and fleshed out, the story is immaculate and clean cut, the art is downright gorgeous and they give out in game currency like it’s nothing! All characters can be obtained within the game so you don’t have to buy any exclusive ones, and the costumes designed for each character are all beautifully crafted and thoughtful. The campaign of the game is heartfelt and adorable tagged in with amazing action sequences and I found myself looking forward to playing it. It isn’t a horribly challenging game but it isn’t a walk in the park either, but has no random difficulty spikes like most games do. The PvP isn’t clunky or unfair, all the characters are well balanced, and things are easy to obtain without forking out money. I haven’t spent ANY money in this game and I’ve nearly completed the codex of the entire hero selects. A smashing game with a positive community and great art, this beautiful project gets the full 5* from me.

Honestly very surprised about this game, went in thinking it was going to be like all the other games in this genre, you know horrible stam limits, terrible chances to get strong heroes, near impossible to get the “special” currency for hero draws, and everything being locked by a pay wall or take forever to get. But no this game has been very accommodating to me as a new player so far. Very generous gifts at the start and for every level up, the hero’s are easy to get and don’t take weeks to evolve and upgrade, as well as gear being fairly easy to acquire as well, the only complaint I would have to say is that gold can be a little hard to get but that could just be because I’m a fairly low level still and probably will pick up in time to match the needs of awakening my heroes, transcending them, and powering them up regularly. AND AMAZING VISUALS FOR THE SKILLS, honestly props to the devs and everyone who worked on this game, it’s been a long time since I’ve been surprised about a AppStore game but you guys have made me feel very surprised and pleased.👏

So I have played since it was first released great game the story is perfect gives such great animations and fights the only problem I have hit is it's super hard to get through the story. Like I said I ah e played since the begging and I have a pretty stacked team but I'm at chapter 10 or 11 and it takes a half hour just for one fight and sometimes it will Time out before it's over but that's rare, and the only other thing is I wish you were allowed 7 characters instead of 5 because you can't use all 7 knights at once in the story or arena of you have them. I love how this game stands out with its unique style and graphics the gameplay alone is amazing and it's one of the few RPGs where you don't have to pay to be good at it, the frisk is level when it comes to wallet warriors and those who don't spend money. My only true regret is that this game doesn't have its own merchandise shop, because I would go bankrupt on that site. I give this game 11/10 please keep it up with the amazing story 7K team you guys are amazing

I don't know about anyone else but sometimes my game will update and reset my account setting me back to square one. I currently have 3 accounts all at different levels because of this. Please fix this problem because I don't want to lose my progress. Otherwise good game.

Edit: as I've been playing for over 2 years on and off, I've watched the game get steadily better. My past issue seems to have been resolved. I recently joined the Korea (KakaoTalk) version, and not surprisingly it was miles ahead of the NA version. I would recommend bringing the things like:

- Daily 1 hour rewards like gold, rubies, elements, items, etc.
- More rewarding daily dungeons (sure to nice but wouldn't it be cool if there was an event for longer that actually gave interesting stuff?)
- Literally the dozens of heroes on Korean servers
- all of the awakenings (I get that now your starting with the seven knights and stuff, but at this rate it will take forever to awaken all of the heroes)
- general arena improvements (not just NA but Korea as well) I know that everyone always talks about meta, but let me just talk about power: is it even relevant? I went on for a quick battle with a level 50 +10 kyrielle, ruri, Shane, soi, and a level 36 rin. All of them are awakened. But still I get recked by a level 30 team of noobs. Absurd.

Otherwise keep up the good work. I like what's going on With Korea servers, just bring it to NA now.

This game is great. It’s definitely worth pouring hours upon hours into. I’ve had tons of fun playing this game and will continue to; however, one of my bigger issues with this game is that in order to compete on higher levels, you would have had to play this game for months. Some items aren’t farmable and in early game, keys are hard to come by if you don’t manage them. Also, keys don’t have a constant indefinite recharge which stops players from advancing too far in the game without paying for keys. Awakening Shards, material used to evolve heroes even further beyond, aren’t remotely farmable early to mid game. This makes awakening heroes impossible without buying shards, topaz farming (impossible for new(er) players), or buying topaz. Elements, material used to rank up heroes, aren’t farmable at all. This making ranking up heroes impossible unless you’ve saved up elements from the daily dungeon. This game is very fun but, ludicrously grindy. I wouldn’t mind having to grind for a few hours but, having to wait a month for some awakening shards, elementals and keys for one character is ridiculous.

This game is amazing the gameplay never gets old the graphics are beautiful the community is really fun because you can chat with guild mates and other people on public chat and make new friends while helping each other grow stronger in the game. I recommend this to everyone frankly I'm proud to write my first review on this game 😅😊😄😃😁
Still love the game but it seems that when it updates it tells me that I’m playing an outdated game version so I go to AppStore and the update option isn’t there so I must wait longer to play the game which is quite annoying
Okay now I’m getting really annoyed I can’t seem to access my guild! I cant access the guild chat then it tells me that I’m no longer in a guild and then I apply for another because I thought I got kicked or something then it says I’m already in the guild then I check to see what members are in my guild and it says MY NAME it’s getting super annoying!

The game is great but i feel the rework doesnt really make it possible for a variety of teams in the arena its basically whos ever team is closest to the meta. I also feel that the heavenly tower is too hard for most players to complete as it really requires melia which most are unable to get and, like most gacha games drop rates are a lie. I love the the current guild system as it requires you to actually involve yourself in it and the raid and adventure mode are great. The game has also been improving on the pay to win aspect although not perfect. The new event has been fun and i love the story being told in the game. While the game can most certainly improve i feel that it excels in what it does well and its trying to improve in what its missing. Overall fun time and ill still be playing it.

I played this game in its early years and It was fantastic. The art the sound and the animation was top tier of mobile games and the game itself was amazing but now coming back I’ve noticed that the game has gone to sht. Nothing works in here, the ABILITIES doesn’t work. The ITEMS EFFECTS don’t work. You can’t even play the characters you like and win a pvp match because there are only so few selected characters for that mode. The characters you see in pvp will always be the new characters who are super high lvl and almost impossible to get which isn’t new player friendly. You also can’t play the characters you want is because at least 80% of them will be outdated and stepped on by newer characters. Not to mention this game falls heavily towards pvp, at least 98% of the new characters who comes out goes towards PVP and not PVE. This game has strayed sooooo far from what it was in the past, fun and enjoyable but now it’s just disappointments after disappointments. Rest In Peace old Seven Knights.

Let me just say this is one of the best fighting games on mobile and one of the most underrated games still and I recommend it to everyone I know but the game has some major set backs like the dragon it no longer gives you horns or scales and that was one of the only thing I was personally really good at getting and it helped me grow a lot, to just rip them from the game like that has killed it for me and many of my friends that played. It feels like the game just take old characters and makes them hella weaker, take my Teo(level 50+10) for example I have some of the best things for him and it’s like I’m playing with a level 1 character. He used to do 20-30k damage to NPCs now he barely anything I’m taking about maybe 1-5k damage same equipment and everything. It’s not fair to just take character that where pretty good then just make them thrash it’s killing the game it’s like the only thing the game cares about anymore is PvP so unless you don’t have those main PvP characters you set up to useless.

I cannot play this game for more than 4 minutes, it randomly crashes on me and I’m playing Mobile I’ve checked everything the storage the data the battery percent and it’s none of those this recently happened in the last update and would love for you guys to help me. I’m still having this issue, even after the karma and Tara update. Help me out please. It’s been a while, a week maybe and I’m still having the same trouble. This is the only game I have on my phone and in the rate I’m in, won’t be playing it anymore. Please help I want to play this game, could you guys fix my problem, I doubt I’m the only one.

First off let me say I love this game and I have been playing it for almost 2 years. One of the best in this genre out there and it is frequently updated so you don’t get bored with old content. That being said when I updated to iOS 11 the game the game stopped working properly. Every time I open the game it want to redownload 64 different files to update. The problem is it does this every time I restart the game. It takes a ton of time and uses a lot of data. I can’t understand why it keeps wanting to download the same files over and over again. Really inconvenient. Please try to identify why this is occurring. I spend a lot of money playing this game and I just want it to work like it used to. If you need any info or I can help to solve this reach out. Thanks for your consideration.

Honestly one of the best mobile games. I’m a F2P player. Haven’t put a dime to this game and have several maxed out special heroes. It’s easy to farm currency and controls and layout are spectacular. Frequently updating making it never boring or slow. The auto feature for leveling and farming is great for the busy parent like me because I can set it down come back and bam tons of rubies, items and heroes. Anyone that says this game is a cash grab isn’t being honest with you. As long as your patient you can get very good at this game. Also with the Smart rewards and “mini features” it gives the option to obtain materials to craft most of the most powerful weapons and armor. I mean it’s great.

I gotta the say after playing this game for a good few months it coulda been a great game. But sadly it went down the road that so many other of these games do. Locking the best cards behind insultingly low rates. So that it makes you just not wanna play the game anymore. Usually with these games they give you a good starting out point. Some nice high level heroes/monsters/characters. To tempt you in and hey look you actually have a decent chance at getting top tier teams. This game doesn’t do that unless they changed it from the last time I played but I doubt it. The combat was pretty good, but the menu and entire layout is also poor and clunky. Everything is too pushed together. But like I said the main issue is the gacha. Why bother playing a game if you can’t even draw strong characters without money.

Kept asking to restart the game with a new account and when I pressed no it wouldn’t let my account get connected, so I pressed yes thinking maybe it’ll just refresh the game... not completely get rid of what I had already. Well it was a huge waste of time and the gameplay is kinda messed up anyways. Also the new characters are beyond busted most of the time, the normality between raid boss, arena, fortress battle, raid etc... is so weird. I don’t understand some of the passives and stuff in this game cause all it says is “at a fixed rate” and doesn’t give a % or anything... and idk if there even is a way to look at all your stats. The skill turns are weird, which made me kinda mad. BUT whatever (yes I’m mad cause I was actually was interested in this stupid game but oh well Not gonna waste my time rebuilding 4 months worth of stuff for nothing) Goodbye.

I have never written a review, but I had to now with how terribly INFURIATING this is. I have attempting to sync my IPad data to my IPhone for the past 6 HOURS. This is god awful. It refuses to sync my data with Apple ID and instead syncs a new level 1 account I made while trying to sync and even worse, it doesn’t allow me to sync over the level 1 account. I either get the level 1 account or nothing. Is that what syncing is? Answer; no it’s not.

I tried Facebook too and it just refuses to sync even though it says it’s connected so that’s great and god forbid I use the email sync. I tried to but it’s telling me to log into a Netmarble account I don’t have. There’s no sign up option. This is a mess. Most games have an User IUD and/or verification from the old device, but nope not this game.

And I’m definitely either syncing my stuff or giving up this game in general since I rather not waste 3 more years for this game. It’s so infuriating and I want to just give up. Any online advice is useless and 3 years old.

Please, if you read this review (which I assume is unlikely) just add a godforsaken easier syncing option. I shouldn’t have to solve rocket science to transfer data.
