So they’ve been very generous with the Christmas event. They improved some of the quality of life aspects in the game. The rates improved for me as well. Seems like it’s back to the 4% rates. So for now I’m changing it from 2 stars to 4 stars. Have to give them credit for trying to improve the game.

It’s a slightly new twist on idle games. Once the novelty of it wears off, the game feels even more grindy than other idle games since you have to stay on all the time to maximize progress. The rates felt like 4% in the first couple of days. But lately it’s felt about 2-3% after I spent some money on the game. Whereas I used to get a 3 star character every 25 pulls, it’s about a 3 star character every 40 pulls or so. It could be a run of bad luck but if you’re in the same boat at me, seeing an advertised 4% rate can be frustrating. The game is generous with gems at the start, but as you clear all the initial content, the gem income slows which coincides with the crappier rates. Unfortunately, I was kind of hooked then, spent about 40-50 dollars, got not too much on the returns. I think my last 90 pulls, I got one 3 star. So buyer beware. I hope if you play, you’ll have better luck than me.

Very easy to obtain rare units because the game gives out so many gems. By the time I reach level 10 I've already earned enough to do 200x summons for free. Drop rates are also decent, with highest rarity dropping at 4.0% (better than other gacha games). This game does depend on pulling duplicate units in order to power them up for useful passives, but again the pull rate is so good that you're bound to get dupes (yes even of the highest rarity units). In my 200 pulls I got 2 dupes of them. The game also allows you to select 3* units when you do 100 pulls, so I have enough to fully ascend any single 3* unit I want. I love how generous this game is. You don't have to spend money to enjoy it! Plus, the characters are cute and the art is nice.

So far the game has been great; good story, generous funds for gacha, and great character design. However IMO there is a need for some QOL things and changes to some afk things. But devs have been listening to community and implementing improvements. I’m just waiting for a Narin banner

This game has shown me something I have never seen before in a video game like this… The main character has a VOICE it is the most amazing thing to have ever happened

I get sucked into anything with airships, so I’m a bit biased. The gameplay is decent, but the writing is atrocious. Comes off like it was written by children, or is directly aimed at kids. Could just be poor translating. I haven’t sunk any money into it and it’s entertaining enough to play for a while. Will update review if things improve.

You have a power number indicating how strong your team is, however you will realize that you cannot beat the team with higher power nor the team with lower power. You cannot beat team with lower levels nor the team with higher levels. So my question is that what’s the point?

This game is fun aside from ads, for those who don’t like idle games I’d stay away but for those who do like idling I would suggest to give it a try. It’s a breath of fresh air and I hope they continue focusing on the main story and flesh it out in the near future.

Gacha luck is somewhat fair, gameplay is neat. If you here for the story, the story is no good. Overall a simple, somewhat fun gacha game. If you’re not for leaving your phone idle wirh this game open to progress further, then don’t download it as it’s a very intended mechanic.

Try to optimize the buttons more, and maybe add a little texture

It doesn’t continue to tally resources when it’s not in the forefront actually running. I’ll update the review if that’s changed but yeah…I’m not leaving this open 24/7 Also, they use the Wilhelm scream as a death sound effect and it’s going off every 10 seconds. Straight up about to uninstall. -1 star from that too.

Good and easy

Game was fun until it froze. I was placing one of my characters in the engine room and my game crashes, restarted it and it’s stuck at “checking crew list.” Tried restarting my phone and reinstalling AirshipKnights , neither worked. Can’t even log out, completely stuck out of the game.

Review keeps disappearing. I purchased an Ad Removing package and made a second small purchase. Game forced quit 5 minutes after and boots to “crew loading” screen. 1.00 - 6 updates later on 1.06 and no solution. Email, Discord - no answer and Apple won’t refund. Avoid.

There’s no reason for ads and yet here we are.

Kind of cool so far but the ads just waste your time.

The game is really good for an idle rpg however for iOS the pity system is broken so it’s hampering my progress by not getting stronger units

Game is normal. But the arena is out of understanding. Twice less power player can kill you. My power for now is 80k i hit 40k player and he bits me... HOW!??

lol the game doesn't even run. Got stuck at the loading screen, identifying card screen, for decades. What a trash game

I normally don’t write reviews, but this game is so good that I had to. First, the combat system is pretty fun. If you get stuck, there are easy and free ways to make your knights stronger. The writing isn’t the most complex, but it’s cute and funny. The gatcha system is also implemented very well, it’s easy to get free diamonds and the drop rates are pretty good. My favorite part about this game is that the not rare characters are still useful! You can upgrade them and they can become really strong. Overall, in my opinion this is one of the best idle games in this genre!

I really do love it so much. It’s not a huge issue but I wish there were more diverse skin colors just like their is with hair options, face options, hair colors and eye colors. I’m not saying to create a whole range but I’d love to be able to designate with my character, esp bc it’s an rpg. Not a huge issue but having character mod options the color of Albi and a little darker could be nice. I’d be fine even if it was just only three skin color choices. Again no biggie and love the voice acting, animations and plot. I j really wanna be immersed in a great game like this!

This is a good game, its genuinely solid. The game wants money any good dev team foes. But the storytelling and character depth in this game is ridiculous when you think about popular competitors in this genre. Whats the deep lore of raid shadow legends??? This games characters feel like genuine people so it makes it more entertaining to see them come out of the metaphorical gum ball machine. The writing is entertaining and keeps me opening AirshipKnights , subtle references in boss sprite works to old literature is also very nice ;)

Im sure ill get used to it eventually, but the environment isn't very user friendly, and the FAQ seems to point you to “tabs” whenever your trying to find a specific spot but theres… really no tabs?

Even just 5 more min in a tutorial wouldve been fine.

Love playing this game but I’ve noticed that with every update, my phone overheats faster and faster, and everything starts to lag. They recently brought in a few new features, but it feels as though the game hasn’t been optimized to run as smooth as before. I keep having to close it out and restart because it freezes up on me all the time (from my phone overheating).

I like the game it passes time but the new update for the arena I find stupid to have every knight as a fixed level of one it defeats the purpose of trying to level them up or for the quests because you can’t get the advantage of the level. Secondly regarding the quest make it so when you click on “ongoing” redirect it to where or what you’re supposed to do the title of it doesn’t mean anything to some people.

I love this game. I really seriously do. However, I miss the old arena before this latest update. To me it seemed more of an even playing ground. Now that doesn’t mean I love this game any less, because I don’t. I absolutely love it and I’ve recommended it to a few friends who also love idle games.

This game is awesome, I have been playing for just over 3 months and it’s completely Free To Play!!!! I do recommend however to spend the money and get the Ad Skip it helps in the long term. Definitely worth the time if you love playing AFK style games

I’ve been playing this game since day one, without a break and will say it’s probably out a doubt one of the best idle games I’ve played.

Im currently stuck in the “identifying captain’s id card” and i’d like to know whether it’s currently downloading the contents of the game or just wasting my time. After i’ve been answered, I will make my review for the game. That aside, this looks like a fun game and i’ll be disappointed if i can’t run it on my phone.

New updated changed the ranked battles to have every character be fixed at lvl 1. Makes it impossible to fight anyone because they run the same two characters that that just wipe a whole team because they stay invincible the whole fight. It’s very annoying because I was having fun up until today.

It’s a really fun game plus the game is very generous with the amount of premium currency it gives, doesn’t feel overly p2w

Just seems kind of weird to be able to change my hair color and eye color but not be able to change my skin color at all. Would be a pretty easy fix and improve customization for a large demographic of people.

Went to play after a few days break to see that I was logged off. Went to log back in and it was showing the character I had created, ch 1, and absolutely all progress erased and asking me to create a new character. Tried logging in 3 times, first said that I couldn’t log in bc of “account restrictions,” the message closed before I could read more than that, and the other 2 tries said the login was successful and to close AirshipKnights and reopen it. It’s like my account got banned but I haven’t done anything that would go against the rules there are, unless taking frequent breaks for work and school isn’t allowed. It took ages to make so much progress and I’m not about to spend all that time again to start from the beginning.

Only played the game for a short while and seems fun. I like the use of voice acting at the beginning and although the story at the beginning seems fairly run of the mill “fight off darkness, protagonist with amnesia,” it doesn’t hinder the enjoyment of the game and gets your right into the game.

If I had to suggest anything to the devs it’s that there are a lot of menus which can only be exited by pressing on the close button, which at times can be small or just annoying to push every time. I think if they allowed for most menus to be exited by either the close button or by tapping off of the menu (towards the edges of the screen) it would be a great QOL change.
