Had to drop it to 3* from 4 1/2*. Because really who can get 5* right off the bat :). Absolutely hate the new design - really liked seeing a few days at a time. This is big and bulky, spread out and not aesthetically pleasing IMHO. Also, what happened to the forecast button? Even if it couldn’t always be accurate. No one knows with Eskom as we all know. Our problems though come after loadshedding - because of poorly maintained infrastructure our electrics blow 5 to 10 mins after power comes on. This past weekend we had no power from 3 pm on Sat to 2 pm on Sunday. Any magical way you can help Lynnwood Pretorians with getting that word to the ‘powers’ that be? Now that would be something!!! 🙏🏻😂

App takes long to refresh and you may as well close it and reopen. You should also get push notifications maybe 15 mins before your chosen areas are supposed to be going down, and again when finished. Also when the stages are increased for 1 to 2 to 3 etc. otherwise a good app that I have installed on all my family’s phone - but would be TOTALLY AWESOME if they could add some of the extra functions in.

Fairly accurate. Of course it gives only Eskom outages and not local outages due to local faults etc. Often these happen at the same time which makes the app look bad. But it can only follow Eskom Push notifications and not local government. I mention this because in my area under Ukurhuleni, the Eskom outages causes additional damage to the ageing network. So that we are also burdened by these secondary effects. Yes, the app is ok, but way too expensive if you want to remove adds.
