FOX 7 Austin: News & Alerts Reviews

I find good information on most of your stories, but in your “Sponsored Stories” they are not stories. They are miss leading ads. I’ve seen one that says there is beautiful apartments for the elderly. It shows a nice looking building. Also one of tonight’s “Sponsored Stories” you have one that shows hundreds of vehicles for sales also here in Florence. Both totally bogus. It’s lies. Nothing even close to your “sponsored Stories” exists here in Florence TX. Actually all those supposed stories are nothing but ads. Please be more responsible about how you show ads & not list them as stories. Disappointed.

My husband and I listen to Fox News all the time. We know we can depend on the latest updated news and alerts on Fox News. We also enjoy the news that scrolls at bottom of screen with additional news items of interest. Love all the newscasters meteorologists and sports. No channel can beat Fox News.

It is my opinion that Mike Warren and Rebecca Thomas are either anti-Trump or they are instructed to approach Trump news in a negative Left leaning way. Does Fox News recognize that 1/2 of their viewing audience are Trump voters and we actually think he’s doing a great job? I’m sick and tired of the negative condescending tone used by Mr. Warren.

***Also do you know that your Fox News Austin reporters are the ONLY on air personalities that hold pink and blue cheat sheets in front of the camera? Compare your reporters to other local networks. I’d say, PUT THOSE PAPERS DOWN!

Sure, it’s doesn’t update news daily. and yeah, it’s filled with adds. But by far it is the most poorly edited news app I have ever witnessed. I don’t believe anyone reads these stories before they are published to FOX7Austin . For example: “ A 13-year-old girl was killed and two other teens were wounded Saturday night in Austin on the West Side.”. Yet the story i was reading was about Chicago. Get it together! get a better app copy editor.

The worst of all Kical News apps in Austin. Delivers only half of the information on most topics with tra la la spin of terrible journalism. Many articles finish finish with statement that infer more information is forth coming only to end with incomplete topic coverage. Fire the Editor. Fire the staff. Fix should remove the rights to let them display their trade Mark moniker. This id a news app run by half wits!
The Daily Texas is a far better source for information. kXAN or others. This is crap!

We especially enjoy the morning weather with Zack. He is so knowledgeable and not only makes the weather report interesting but is teaching us about different weather events at the same time.

Thank you so much for coming up with FOX7Austin. I rarely have time to watch TV , all I have to do now is check FOX7Austin to keep up with all the news. I love some of the stories on here. Big thumbs up Fox 7 👍👍

I have lived in Temple, Texas for the past year and a half after living in Austin for the past 29 years. I Only watch the morning news on my iPad to start my day and get me going on my 75 mile trip into work in Austin.

I check in from time to time during the day to see local news stories. Good information.

I like this news outlet the best but when I click through from FOX7Austin notification to the site I’d like it to Take me directly to that article. It takes me to the most recent article and I have to scroll through many pages to find what I wanted to read.

The latest version has an add that pops up when FOX7Austin is first opened, which is expected. The bad part is that the add plays loud annoying music but disappears after a second or two and keeps playing the music. What?!
Additionally, they are not super good at updating the news stories to a new/ current day. They need to learn from other fox stations, like Dallas or Denver.

I open FOX7Austin almost every morning. The format is good. Some posts are over a week old and should be removed.

Seems to have no technical issues and gives me the local news I need

Really appreciate the way Fox News factually reports events rather than putting a political bias on everything as some other networks do.

There is the same old news for days with only one update. It is frustrating.

Occasionally you will sneak in an outside story to which I have no interest at all, but for the most part it is great local news!

I’m using iOS v15.1 on an iPhone 11 and I just get the loading screen! I haven’t been able to use it for a couple of months now. I get the headlines in my notifications but the links takes me to the loading screen and no further…

Have news in text and video options.

App is well designed and fast. Not like local paper app that is awkward, hard to read and “jumpy”!!!

Living in a small town in Bastrop county, we depend on FOX to stay informed of the news and weather. It is our one and only news center! Love the fact they are a conservative advocate! GOD BLESS‼
