This App Has SERIOUS design flaws

I chose to use this app because I needed a way to scan all of the business cards my boss has collected networking, then export them into a spreed sheet. The app did this, but it also did something else. Something incredibly frustrating that I wouldn’t wish on anybody. I synced my contacts into it’s system because it was the only way it would let me continue using the app, but I didn’t need my contact, only the contacts from the business cards my boss collected. So, I painstakingly deleted all my contacts in the Covve app, then uploaded my bosses via business card. I just went to send a text to someone and all of my contacts from my phone have been deleted. I’m very frustrated with Covve and would never recommend to anyone. Stay away from this app.

Doesn’t sync social media data

I saw Alex’s (CTO) response that the data is ours and how it is all synced, and I thought that was a cool concept, so I gave the app a try. It told me that my contact didn’t have a social media profile (that’s weird, I thought I had it?), so I add it. And realize it’s not syncing back to my contacts (like Alex said), so I contact support and they say the sync doesn’t include social media. Aside from reminders, isn’t that the main purpose of this app? Oh well, on to the next. The app is pretty clean, but since the CTO and website reiterate so many times that it is “our data” and then I find out the exact opposite, I can’t justify anymore than one star. The branding feels like lying...

Not. One. Feature. Request Fulfilled.

Update - November 2019: A year later, practically none of the features I suggested have been implemented. I’m losing interest & hope. === I like the app but I would like more control. For example. I want to be able to schedule follow ups. On any given day, I would like to schedule WHEN the app reminds me to get in touch, likewise, I want the ability to set the reminder from 2 days to next day or next 5 days etc. also, I tried deleting a LinkedIn profile that was incorrect for one of the contacts and noticed that I could only add. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Also would absolutely love the ability to type the specific/actual location. Like Detroit, Mi - LA, California or Miami, FL Lastly, please. Please. Please. Let us add RSS / Website updates / notifications etc for our contacts. It’s frustrating using your sources. I want to be able to use my own. Otherwise, good app...I’m hopeful you guys will make theses changes 🙂
