If you really want to be able to “play” this game you have to spend money. Even when you have “rubies” that you won in-game you cannot spend them to buy shells which are 100% necessary to move forward in the game. This means very quickly the game becomes stagnant and you can’t progress without paying money for it. The Moomins would be ashamed :( do not download this game and do not get your kids play it, very quickly they’ll start asking for the credit card number to keep spending real money in exchange for fake money in the game.

I wanted so badly to love this game, BUT I can’t even play it! I open the game and I can’t get past the opening scene. It just keeps playing on a continuous loop. I’ve tried everything, updating my phone, deleting MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley and redownloading, closing out MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley , I tried clicking on “App support” on MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley ’s page in MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley store, but it takes you to a page in japanese on MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley developer’s website. The page is all in japanese and it just a page with job postings. @ poppin games please fix MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley I want to play it so badly

I want to start out by saying I truly love this game. It’s wonderful. However recently, for version 5.16, every time I go to open MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley and play the game it makes me sit through the data download. Even though it says download for the update is complete, I’ve had to sit through the version 5.16 update like 10 times now. I’m not sure what’s going on but if it is resolved I will change my rating to 5 stars because other than this issue MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley is beautiful and fun.

I started playing this game because a friend recommended this to me, it’s a great addition to my cozy games (animal crossing pocket camp, cats n soup, hungry hearts 2) and also because I like Moomin. But… this game is expensive. Takes too long to craft, plant, and everything you need to fix to expand has a high price and needs huge amount of shells or red coins. So nope, not gonna do another money grabbing game. I reached level 18 but I had to buy the red coins pack 5x because I just could not progress without topping up. And that is it. I’m letting this game go and will stick to the ones I’ve mentioned above. Sad because I really liked it.

The only great thing is it does not have a lot of ads, once in every 8 hrs or so.

I LOVE this game. it’s super cute and super addictive and is really calming when i’m experiencing anxiety. the one thing i’d complain about is how hard it is to get shells. I need shells to buy things and the only way to get them is to achieve quests.. but i need to buy the things i need the shells for in order to achieve the quest. so then i’m just stuck ..

So I love this game so far. It’s so cute and I would totally recommend people that don’t even know about the show or book to play this game. It’s a very cute game but the graphics and could be better. Also sometimes when I hold down on the trees and plants it doesn’t actually let me move them around. But all in all, a adorable and fun game.

I’ve an American fan of the moomins since I was about 12 years old and this game just warms my heart. I love farm games and stuff, so this is right up my alley. Also, this is very easy to pick up and play so I strongly recommend it for any moomin fans, new or old, big or small.

The moomins is a franchise that has always brought me a lot of comfort. I even have moomin themed wallpapers on my phone haha. Its nice to have this little app that allows me to collect all my favorites and also pass the time. The game is incredibly cute and I adore the style. :)

Very good so far! Like animal crossing but moomin! I would like to be able to interact with the characters a bit more instead of just watching them walk around but other than that it’s beautifully made!

This game is the cutest thing EVER!!!!!!
it’s fun and easy and so calming and charming
the only issue I have is that part of the display is cut off due to the front facing camera on my XR, but that isn’t a hindrance at all it’s just a little annoying

I tend to play a lot of "idle town" games but this one is a stand out. The secondary currency that can be pay-to-play in other games is actually achievable by in-game quests and experience grinding without feeling impossible. The wait times are fair to the levels and match along with each other when you're making things in tandem. The lack of ads is honestly astounding. There's only one place to watch an ad and it only refreshes once every 10 hours. Amazing. I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting but I can't recommend this game enough.

It’s a cute little game, the art style is pleasant to look at, the concept is a bit generic but it makes up in what you can do in the game like meet characters from Moomin Valley and it doesn’t happen in one trip it takes many to unlock them.

TL:DR it is great game to play when you have time to kill.

I love this game! There’s no ads, only in app purchases. But not like Episodes where you have to drop a *ton* money to even play. It’s just fun stuff you want to buy :D
I would really love an update where you can activate the decos in you friends’ valleys! I really like seeing theirs, and they buy so many more extra decos than I do so I think it would make it
more fun when exploring. I do like the chest finding, but I’d like to spend more time exploring.

I probably play MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley the most on my phone and I like it a lot! I like enough to do ad things and I’m considering buying stuff here too! My only thing is that I wish that you could choose who walks around your valley :( I'm sorry to say I’m not too big a fan of mr hemulen and mrs fillyjonk and I wish I could put them away.

this game is simply amazing and so entertaining! i can just open this game up and play whenever im bored , though it does take a long time for some tings to grow and harvest , its overall really great concept and especially love it because it MOOMIN! WOW! amazing , thanks to the developers o much for making this great game , I’ve seen nothing like it! The art style is wonderful and the music!

I get bored very easy so it’s hard for me to find games that entertain me, but MOOMIN WELCOME TO MOOMIN VALLEY kept me busy with quests that actually made me think, not too simple and not too hard, enough to just keep ya going. The name is strange and I think they could explain things a little better but I gave 5 stars for the fact I didn’t close it out right away and a hour passed quickly.

Gotta Give it a try!

MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley is really something special! I’ve played farming games before but they never felt like there were some real mysteries to unlock like MOOMINWelcometoMoominvalley has! The characters are so unique whether you’re familiar with moomin or not you’ll fall in love with them! The art style really stays true to the books. I would definitely recommend playing at least until level 15 before deciding if you like it or not as the game really takes off as it unfolds.

Not a game you can play all day but one that you can go back to many times and catch up everything.
I love the Moomins as a franchise very much, it’s my current fixation, and this is such a good way to fulfill my daily Moomin consumption xD
It’s so much fun to upgrade things and have a goal set in mind. I love to decorate the valley, too! The things you can earn and buy are really fitting to the series and I love how they inspire from Tove’s style!
Overall, 10/10, huge recommend if you like to farm and/or love the Moomins as a series/franchise!

I very rarely rate games, but for this one I have to make an exception. This game is absolutely delightful, it stays true to the Moomin franchise, while also being a very fun game. I love that you collect the characters as you go, and I love the different decorations. Also, as far the actual game mechanics goes, this is an extremely reasonable game when it comes to progression and in game purchases. There’s no wall that you get to in the game where you can’t progress without spending money, it’s all very fair. Overall, delightful game, I love it a lot.

With interactive characters and an art style that mimics the comics very well, this game is better than any other farm game, especially if your a Moomins fan.
