I just bought FRYY for $3.99 on the Apple store. Set it up for a Filet that was 2.8 inches thick. Hit the start button and the timer said 13.99. What a start. 46 minutes after I placed the filet on the grill, I got an alert to take the steak off the grill.
The timer did not work properly. I would like them to either fix this or refund my money.
Just can be used as a cooking game for kids under 6 or even 4
I love the look, seriously killer design. I wanted to believe... But when I start the timer, it doesn't count down past 6:14 (ribeye, nice and thick). Just stays there. Ruining my dinner.
I don't see where the temperature is indicated and some of these reviews claim it can be used for fish? Either I don't know how to use this basic app or it's a scam that I wasted 99 cents on.

The countdown timer doesnโt even work. Deleted and reloaded app and still doesnโt work. Wow, isnโt that kind of important?
I just got FRYY and it freezes on thickness selection screen. Disappointed!!
Change is not always good. This was a simple easy to use app. Then it changed and it now longer works.
Should at least told you at what temperature to pull off the meat off the grill or stove... pretty useless to tell you how long to cook the steak if. you donโt if you are using low temp or medium or high temp. Glad it was free.. deleting FRYY right after this post
After about the 3rd use the timer would just freeze thus completely eliminating any use of FRYY . Deleted it. Worthless except for getting a cooking time..then youโre on your own.
Simply add the target temp to remove from heat to the timer page and earn three more stars. Timing is good as a general guide, but is useless without at least a target temp for the desired cook level of the meat.
FRYY is great because you enter your cut, thickness and how well you want it done. The timer kind of works but when you aren't on FRYY it won't alert you. While on FRYY the timer stops and I had to turn the screen off and back on to see the progress of the timer. It worked well enough to grill my steaks but those 2 issues made it a little challenging
