I expected JobSwipe to be a simplified version of Indeed and Zip-recruiter but it’s ended up just being a sketchy job listing site dressed up in a pretty package. The job search is limited and the “swiping” mechanism hardly even works. After a few swipes a few listings stack up onto each other and I can even read the active listings. Most of the listings lead to a sketchy listing site that doesn’t even show you the original job opportunity and asks you to search their site through this glitchy app. Just use Indeed honestly. Waste of time.

What JobSwipe offers is great but I haven’t even gotten to use it. At least not on my phone. I had it installed for 10 minutes, went to change my location and there was no way for me to get off of that screen and back to the search box to continue a job search. Probably a bug but, Disappointing.

JobSwipe forces you to select a job category as well as job title and returns loads of job category matches that are totally unrelated to the job role I’m looking for. Doesn’t seem to return many of the results I’m seeing when doing a normal job search on web(not based on my profile) which doesn’t seem to be possible on JobSwipe . Doesn’t seem very intelligent to me

Categories don’t seem to be broad enough for a mid career professional. Seeing all repeat jobs. 🙁

This is a very poorly designed app that makes searching for a job more difficult. Let people search for jobs not based on what their current job is.
