I spent my life in JOURNALISM, REAL JOURNALISM, not the lies and half-truths, well, emblematic of your website. What I'd like to know (as someone now with a LOW OPINION OF MICROSOFT), why did the following WELL-REASONED POST not meet your "community standards?" Too factual? Or, gosh, maybe I just needed censoring? It read as follows: Well, try reading a heavily ANNOTATED, SCIENTIFIC PAPER: "Modern Megadrought: Population, Denial and Crisis in the American Southwest," by Kathleene Parker. Course, if you don't "trust" sources like the Scripps Institute and our national laboratories, don't bother to read it, but a hint (since Americans are so clueless, they don't even consider it anymore), the Southwest has added roughly 40 million people to its population, since the Colorado River was allocated. So far, from what I can see, Microsoft Start is every bit as much a "news" joke as all the rest of CORRUPT BIG 6 MEDIA!

Who selects the articles? Your editors. What do your editors look for? God knows. I recently read one of your selected articles, by A. Housely, supposedly picking out the 50 worst colleges. What a mishmash! If you are going to provide articles that benefit your readers, do a decent job of it. Don't make MSN a synonym for crap.

I've been banned from commenting on Microsoft news without out being told exactly what I may have posted that was so offensive. I didn't even get a trial. Oh well I can make the switch like others.

When I scan my receiptw I only earn maybe .01 cent. How do you earn money other than scanning the receipt? I scan the store name, amount and date. Should I scan individual items.

I am really concerned that a person cannot speak their mind on your platform. for example, I would like to know why this post was flagged. the only crisis is trying to feminize men. nature makes us what we are. do not fight nature. Be what nature made you strong, aggressive, motivated men. it does not insult or disparage. it does however go against the leftist agenda. more and more I am finding that any opinion that does not agree with the narrative of the article is flagged and not allowed to be posted. It is disgusting.

The new Microsoft Start format is absurd. More than half the screen is taken up by a static display, while the lower screen has large type and little room for content. Why this change?

I hate Microsoft News. I say I don't want any news but it sends it to my desktop anyway. How do I get rid of this pest? When I go to Settings and Apps, Microsoft News doesn't show up. There must be a way to stop this intrusion.
