cant get past 'select language and country' for past day, after selecting and pressing 'save' it just pops up again, cant log in at all

Workplace from meta has been crashing on android devices. This issue only occurs on android users. Users have the inability to login into there apps. The app crashes immediately upon hitting enter after entering their username/password.

We have an issue crashing for Workplace app for iPhone 12,13 and 14 reported. Almost from Switzerland are reporting app crashing after the latest app update on the corporate iPhones. BTS-CA&C are aware of this issue, GSD-Desktop and Geneva IT colleagues are currently investigating this case. Action taken, -The app has the latest version 402.0 and the same issue -Both have the same issue with Version 400 and 402 -Clearing cache does nothing as well. -Uninstall and reinstall the same issue -Uninstall again the app and reinstall it from App Store instead of company portal still the same result -Every single user Jordan have asked (ExCom level) has the issue -2 users tested no issue using personal iOS device and including with Personal AD group. -iPad it works no issue -Elliott uninstalled the app on his phone>Force reboot >Open Comp Portal and run 'Check status' - I'll wait for the app to pushed. Still the same issue -No error messages -Elliott stated just a simple screen freeze for about 2 seconds and then a return to the main screen. In fact, as long as I don't try to scroll beyond that last post, the app doesn't crash--so I can just scroll the 3 most recent posts... MyMobile: No issues, app was working fine on version 400, I have updated to 402 and can confirm nothing has changed. Still working fine. Intune (as majority of JTI users): app was on version 400 and kept crashing as Jay's video. I have updated to 402 and still same behavior. This has started to happen yesterday as most users experiencing it.


Common dislikes about Workplace from Meta app

- No longer see the “Photos” tab when in our profile.

- No picture-in-picture.

- Sound notification settings not working.

- Forced to watch any video through the app even on Safari.
