Mixed Feelings.

So I’ve been ordering cards on here for a while now and although I’ve received beautiful cards from artists who actually try, I’ve also received cards with little to no effort; with just writing. No drawings, no designs, nothing. (Crazy, because I made requests through PunkpostGreetingCards .) This has now happened to me twice. If you’d ask me a week ago what I would rate PunkpostGreetingCards, I would give it a 5, no problem (I usually buy add ons as well! The envelope, and pictures.) But my recent experience involving a “holiday card” and a particular “artist” really made me upset. 15 dollars for just words on a card? No designs on the added feature I purchased? (Envelope) Seriously?I’d rather give that money to an artist that went all out for me and listened.

My holiday card will now have to be given late because there is no way I’m going to hand what I received to the person. It’s the freaking holidays, and it’s for a very close friend! So disappointed.

TLDR: The quality of the cards will not be consistent, it seems like some artists will consider your requests and others will not. Don’t let that discourage you from getting PunkpostGreetingCards though, it’s made me smile and laugh along with my loved ones many times. And you know it’s a good card when they call you smiling instead of texting emojis.

Great but bugs

PunkpostGreetingCards has lots of bugs in it... at least on the iPad version of PunkpostGreetingCards. Bug #1 is that is doesn’t save your work as you are creating the card. We spent an hour typing up the perfect words for our card, choosing the recipients, choosing our extra mailing options, and typing notes for the designer... but then we had to leave PunkpostGreetingCards to go into a few other apps. When we came back into Punkpost, all of our work was completely gone. As if we had never done anything at all. Terrible. Bug #2 is that no matter how many times we chose “Elegant” as our writing style, PunkpostGreetingCards always reverted our card back to “Formal”, even after we submitted the card. Bug #3 is that no matter what we do, PunkpostGreetingCards will not let us pull in the addresses of our contacts from our iPad’s contacts app. Punkpost shows us the names of our contacts from the iOS contacts app, but then it always gives us an error when we try to bring any of those addresses into Punkpost. Bug #4 is that once a card is sitting in your outbox and you simply want to review it, PunkpostGreetingCards always tells you that you are going to discard the card altogether if you try to close out of the card. We just wanted to view the card, but now we can’t close out of it without discarding it altogether!

Awesome

Such a cool concept! Half the fun of this is getting creative when selecting a card and choosing from all the cool options and styles. What a great way to send cards in the mail without ever leaving home.

So far I’ve sent one card, with another in the queue. I’m looking forward to getting a photo of the new one once it’s crafted. The first card was definitely fun and the decorated envelope was a nice touch. It’s sure to grab the attention of the lucky recipient.

One annoying thing is the spam notifications. Like out of the blue I got an alert saying “send a card right from your phone.” I don’t see an option in PunkpostGreetingCards to opt out of marketing/promotional messages. So unfortunately I had to turn notifications completely off, and I’ll probably miss out on the truly helpful notifications, like birthday reminders and shipment notifications.

Disappointing in some aspects

Although I like the concept a lot, I’ve had a lot of problems lately dealing with Punkpost. PunkpostGreetingCards is very buggy; my card that I scheduled was deleted and I had to contact support to give me credit & manually put in an entirely new order. Then when my card was actually written, it was in a completely different style than I had requested and I was very dissatisfied. I had to contact support again to cancel my card & for the second time manually put in a new order. The second time, a new artist was assigned and I was as specific as possible in my requests. Again, the card wasn’t in the style I requested and the emojis I put in the message weren’t even included. At this point it was too late to request ANOTHER card and I was tired of dealing with it so I just accepted it even though I was still disappointed. You’re spending a lot of money to have someone write a card for you so I feel like at the very least it should be in the style that’s requested? I think i’ll be saving my money.

I can’t stop using this service

I can’t stop sending cards to people. They will actually pick up the phone and call me when they get them. It’s the things I always want to do and don’t have time to do. My grandma, my mom, my students. It is SO meaningful to get a hand drawn card.
PunkpostGreetingCards is a little buggy - sometimes it won’t let me add an address, save a card, or load pics, but they seem to be working on things and it does get fixed if you are patient. Also, if you email them, they will help you.
All of the artwork is genuine, thoughtful, and heartfelt. It’s a little hard when I find my favorite artist and I want to clone them. And if you leave feedback for the artist (one took a pic of the wrong address, one drew music notes wrong), they fix it quickly and aim to make it right.
I may have to switch to drip coffee so I can afford more of these beautiful cards.

THIS is what you’re looking for. Yes! Yes! Yes!

I’m absolutely in love with the result. My boyfriend and I are now long distance, so I like to send little notes through the mail for the sake of old-fashioned romance. So I find it really hard to beat the price given through PunkpostGreetingCards if I were to try to send a handwritten note of my own on comparable (really cute) card-stock, much less print picture or buy and keep confetti and stamps on hand. But then to have such awesome writing done!! I love it. The artist’s handwriting is much better and more eye catching than I could ever do on my own. I also love receiving photos of the completed card, envelope, and contents ahead of it being sent. I’ve used another app in the past that skipped this detail and it makes all the difference know the quality of the item your sending from your name. Thank you so much. Sharing with all my friends!!!

AMAZING. Company of the year!!

I don’t think there are enough words for me to express how much I love Punkpost. I discovered them through an Instagram ad and I am so happy I did. The first card I ordered was a Grateful Dead themed card and trust me when I say they nailed it.( I deff won the best card competition between my siblings that night) everyone was blown away by the card! I then ordered a Mother’s Day card to be send to another country and I was shocked when I found out it was a total of $7 to send a card to Brazil!!!! (AMAZIN!) I proceeded to share my cards on my Instagram story and let my friends in on my newest find, as a thank you to punkpost for dealing with my crazy request and being an all around amazing company. You guys are awesome and I hope the world soon catches up to these amazing cards 😍

Never arrived, save your money

The artwork is cool, however, if it never arrives then what’s the point. I had a card created and sent as part of the free card trial but with some add ons. I wanted to see how fast items arrived before sending a bunch of planned cards to friends and family. It’s been almost a week and the card has not arrived. A few cards I sent afterwards myself via mail arrived at their locations across the country but the card from Punkpost has yet to arrive at the intended recipient. I was excited at first but not anymore. It’s important to be able to accurately gauge delivery times so cards aren’t sent too early or too late. The initial expected date was 4 days but then it kept getting longer as I checked PunkpostGreetingCards over the following week. Its been over two weeks and still no card. In reality, there is no verification from PunkpostGreetingCards that the card was actually sent at all. I’ll just spend less money on store cards and stamps with assurance people will get it. Shame since the premise is pretty cool. Just terrible execution.

Worthless when it counts

I was a huge fan of sending occasional cards through punk post, and got many compliments on them, even though the artists sometimes messed up on the grammar or some minuscule thing - until my last order. I placed the order on the 15th. It processed through my debit card immediately, but nothing on PunkpostGreetingCards updated that it would be assigned or anything.
So I contact customer support. She says she pushed it through, it would be shipped out no later than Sunday. I go back and look yesterday, it’s still not been scripted. Again today, nothing. It’s going to be late for Christmas even though I did all I could to get it there on time. I will not be referring anymore friends, coworkers, clients, or anyone because I feel like they don’t value their clients. I’ll be going the legal route of contacting my bank and better business bureau; but at least we know we can’t trust them when it counts. Which means never.

TLDR: I ordered a card with plenty of time to get there on time and it still hasn’t shipped - and no one will reply anymore.

Fun for recipient and sender!

I love PunkpostGreetingCards. I am hooked. A human pens the cards, not a printer or robot. The card isn’t just written; drawings and envelope artwork are often included. You can make special requests for drawings or other things to make the card more personal. You can schedule it, add confetti, and include photos. The best part? You get a photo of the final artwork before it is sent so that you can enjoy it too. It is so much fun and the costs for all of it is very reasonable. The card selection isn’t that big and the addressing can be buggy but everything else makes PunkpostGreetingCards well worth a 5-star rating! I am looking for excuses to send cards now. Before, I was lucky if I even sent out 2 a year!

It was great until it wasn’t

I was very excited to send out valentines card to my friends for GALentines Day. I edited a bunch of a photos with a nice aesthetic to attach with the card (I paid the extra buck to do so)
And I got zilch. I could see that once it was shipped, I wrote to the artist that I was concerned cause I didn’t see a photo for my card. She said “it just isn’t showing, but she sent one.”
I asked my friends once they got theirs (none of them received it)
I was embarrassed & angry. They essentially lied to me and robbed me of my money. So I wrote to the email I was recommended, got sent to some guy who tried to bully me into being silent that it was somehow my fault. Not a way to run a company that serves other people, the only thing that’s my fault is choosing you to make my cards. I swore never to do it again & I’m telling everyone else what happened. (The art work on the card looked awful too. A child could’ve done better)

Product is great, but the app is frustrating.

I’ve used PunkpostGreetingCards several times and it seems to have problems importing addresses. Manually entering addresses is more work, but it gets the job done. This latest time using PunkpostGreetingCards it would not work with Apple Pay. I had always used Apple Pay up to this point, but for some reason this last time it kept trying to set up Apple Pay like it had never been used before and then wouldn’t even follow through with the purchase after. I had to manually enter my card information, then delete the card from my account once the purchase went through because I’m not comfortable leaving my card information in PunkpostGreetingCards . Despite these difficulties, the cards always come out great so I will continue to use it. Hopefully the developers will get these bugs worked out.

Amazing, personalized, and FUN!

This is an amazing bc app and I wish more people knew about it. I have sent several cards to family members and friends and have not been disappointed!

When I order my cards, I am quite specific and always go with the “FUN” style. I have learned I to get the best drawings when I pick this style and feel like the artists understand to have fun with the card. Some of the drawings that I have asked for are RIDICULOUS but they have not disappointed me!

Spend the extra dollar or two on a card like this to make someone smile. I sure wish one of my friends would send one back to me! Lol

Cute

Sent my sister a card and the artwork is beautiful, they take their time and really put effort into each card. Some artists aren’t as creative but I think most of them do a great job. They do misspell words a lot. I sent my mom a card who lives in TUCSON, an artist spelled it as TUSCAN on the address.. My only concern is that I don’t know If cards arrive on time. I wish they didn’t draw all over the envelope and use lots of colors for the address. I work at a post office and these types of envelopes take longer to process because the machine can’t read the addresses due to all of the colors and drawings so have to do them by hand. I notice lots of punk post cards when I’m doing them by hand at work.

Love it but frustrating delivery service

I love PunkpostGreetingCards and the idea behind it. The cards are really beautiful and I can tell they are made with care. My first two went through quick and were delivered on time. However, I sent out two more cards and both have yet to arrive. It’s been 14 days since I placed the order and 7 days past the expected delivery date. I know that standard mailing is slower but it’s still disappointing and now I’m not sure if they will ever even get delivered. I contacted customer service and both card makers for them so hoping for a response. Other than that I’ve had a positive experience with the service and hope to be able to use it again. I wouldn’t even mind paying extra to have a tracking number or for it to be priority mail.

5 stars isn’t enough!

Punkpost is such a wonderful, affordable way to show your love to those special people on your life. There is a card for everything, all reasonably priced, and the artists are a cut above! I am constantly blown away at the small details they bring in to the card, the extra pizazz, and the thought they give to their work.
I love that you can communicate directly with the artists and tell them what you love about the card, and they can write little notes to you once they’ve brought your card to life!
I will continue to be a loyal Punkpost customer- it’s an ingenious idea with loads of creativity and thought behind it. 10/10!

AMAZING!!

I usually never leave reviews but after using Punkpost I just need to. I love writing notes to my friends and this just puts it on another level! They’re so personal and the new gift certificate options make it the perfect birthday gift for friends. It’s such a personal gift that people keep forever and the artwork is amazing. You can get a boring card from Walgreens or you can pay to get a handwritten and beautifully done note sent to your friends. It’s so easy and quick to send and you can schedule when a card is sent out so they get it on a certain day. Seriously my favorite app for sending notes right now. Y’all rock!!

The BEST

I will be fully transparent in saying that I am a hand-lettering artist for Punkpost, but I have also been on the customer side of Punkpost. My experiences as a writer and a customer have both been wonderful. Call me biased, but this community and the people who work for Punkpost are the most kind, creative, and helpful people! Every card is different and you never know what you’re gonna get — which is the joy of ordering a card! If you’re willing to put your trust into a hand-lettering artist to make you something truly special, PunkpostGreetingCards is PunkpostGreetingCards for you.

Holy hell Batman!

Found PunkpostGreetingCards and have used it twice so far and I absolutely LOVE it! If you enjoy making someone’s day brighter with a personalized card that will blow your mind, this is PunkpostGreetingCards for you. The prices are reasonable and for all you get it’s well worth the $7.00 which includes everything. I especially love that you can ask the artist to be as creative as they feel and THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND. Now, if I’m being honest PunkpostGreetingCards itself is glitchy and the website is worse but those can be fixed - the service and products are outstanding! Already planning my next card.

Highly recommend

PunkpostGreetingCards is so awesome & I never have to go to the store, get stamps, or do anything for the same price and way less hassle! I have to mention, I inquired about my card not arriving by the projected date, & we realized I put the wrong address on it. The card ended up arriving by some miracle anyway, and when I told them it was my fault and the card did in fact arrive despite my mistake; they STILL GAVE ME A CREDIT! I tried to get them to take it back but they insisted. Incredible customer service & an excellent product. Highly recommend, will never stop using them!

Great for professional correspondence and for fun!

I love punk post. Recently, I went on a series of interviews, and used punk post to send professional thank you cards to all of the people I interviewed with. My scratchy handwriting is nothing compared to how beautiful the artists' handwriting is. I like to think it's given me a leg up. I also love sending the fun styles to friends and family for holidays and birthdays.

PunkpostGreetingCards is a little buggy (doesn't save drafts occasionally, freezes up sometimes, etc) but tolerable. I wish there was an option to book directly with artists that we like.
