Looper Reviews

It’s usually very hard to find a looping app in the Apple store without glitches and without having to download 50 million apps in order to find one that works well enough to not have to also have a separate editor to get a video to output directly which means that you will also be spending a lot of extra time and money for something that was supposed to be simple. I have only used Looper once and I haven’t had any issues yet. As long Looper stays up to date I would definitely recommend Looper as the best in the Apple store. Just keep in mind to make sure that you have enough space on your phone or iPad to decrease having an issue with video applications. That is usually why I have had issues in the past with apps such as these types.

I love the simplicity, and it does the job. I use the paid version, with the playlists.
Under the Videos tab, I am limited to 8 video loops. Why the limitation? I paid for Looper hoping I would be able to surpass this limit. Nope. If you want to make more loops, you must delete previous loops, which sort of defeats the purpose for which I downloaded Looper in the first place.
Under the Playlist tab, there appears to be a limit of 3 playlists. I tried to start a 4th, but was unable to add any videos from the camera roll despite multiple attempts.
If these are all bugs, I look forward to them being resolved so I can fully put Looper to work.
If it is by design, well, boo! Broaden your scope, developers! You have a good concept here, don’t limit it!

Undoubtedly the best this app app I’ve used so far. Other reviews say that there’s a lot of ads, or they have exporting problems, but I’ve exported quite a few vids and they worked just fine. As for ads, yes there are ads, but only after your loop is done playing (for ex. If I choose to loop my video 5 times, Looper will loop it 5 times and THEN play the ad) you can also make playlists for more than one video. My only complaint is that the loop/video stops playing when you leave Looper . Fortunately i haven’t had to leave Looper during the loop. Definitely satisfied.

It does exactly what is says it does, it does it well, and it has a couple extra features like reversals if you need them. It works great, the menu is simple and easy to understand. I haven’t found a single thing that would make Looper better other than maybe, just maybe implementing an auto feature that would take a frame and then search for the next identical frame, and then end the loop on the frame before that to make it easier to loop videos of loops.

I have been a this app pro member for quite some time now, and I think with the update it is awesome! No need for other things to reverse your videos, you can do it in this app! Another thing I find amazing is that you now can export as GIF now! I have one thing, although I know it wasn’t meant for this I think it would be epic to add, maybe advanced reversing video control?
I don’t need this, just think it would be a super awesome addition! Anyway, love the update, thanks iokanan vfx!

I love Looper , let’s me loop videos so I can watch videos multiple times. I have the paid version so I can have playlists for my videos, but the feature is missing something: being able to put videos already uploaded into an existing playlist! It’s not the biggest inconvenience, but it’s holding me back from giving 5 stars.

I love using Looper! I can listen to my music and other videos without having to manually press repeat! Even when my iPhone's in sleep mode, I can still listen to them!

(I have one idea to share! If possible, maybe we could have the option to move the videos to change the order of the list? If that makes sense?)

I used to love this game but I need to run the music in the background. If that's fixed it's a complete 5 star. Edit one:I figured out how to run it in the background. It's a different way but hey it works ! Also why does everyone complain about ads? The only ads I've got were on the home screen of this app, not in the actually videos so no complaints here! Looper is a great way to loop songs consistently!

It did what I needed it to, loop a video, super fast and super easy. It looks like a lot of people are having problems after the first time they use it, but I just tried it with 5 different videos (from my camera roll) and all of them worked. I’m running iOS 12.1 on an iPhone XS Max, if that helps.

I’ll update my review if it ends up not working, but for now I’d highly recommend it!

You see I used the free version I thought I was gonna see thousands of Adds and I didn’t see what came next zero adds or pop ups so just amazing amazing amazing and amazing can’t forget about amazing it was a really cool plus there aren’t that many limitations with the free version so I really like it it’s good good and good

Definitely the best this app app out. I’ve been pretty satisfied with how well Looper works. Unfortunately, the reason I didn’t give it 5 starts is that some videos just fail to export and I don’t know why. Other than that Looper is amazing!!! Once I’m able to export those videos I will DEFINITELY upgrade review to 5 stars.

i always check the reviews before i download something and always check the most recent reviews to see if the most recent update was positive or negative and the most recent ones say that there isn’t any sound... figured i’d try it anyways. WASTE OF MY TIME!! i waited whoever knows how long for one of my 8 minute videos to download so i could loop it and when i went to play it there was NO SOUND. i thought maybe it was my phone but it wasn’t. if the developers can fix this then definitely download it but until then ITS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL WASTE OF TIME and i definitely DON’T recommended it!!

So I got Looper ab a year ago, and it worked well because I could listen to whatever I was looping, and use other apps as well. But this new update makes it where you have to have Looper open in order for it to work. I like the new update and all but the only complaint I have is please make it to where you can have other apps open too while listening to whatever it is your listening to.

You used to be able to have it play on the side while ur phone is off and go on other maps while it plays. On my old phone I used that feature all the time. I stopped using it for a while cus my old phone broke and I forgot the name of Looper . Found it again and that feature is gone. Disappointed as I now realized you make us pay for a feature that was free. For people looking for that feature don’t buy this as I found other apps that let you do that for FREE

Can set up to loop and loop a short video, and display as picture in picture in AUM to create music as the video plays. Exactly what I needed. Bought the IAP a minute after getting Looper . Way to go, developer, for making just what I needed!

This this app app blows the others out of the water even in the free version. The apps and minimal and don’t mess with your work. It’s also easy to understand. This is the overall best app if you’re looking for a looping software.

Looper was great. Emphasis on was. You could loop video tutorials and walkthroughs and the Picture in Picture mode made it extremely convenient to follow along. Nothing too crazy (for the free version that is) but recently the ability to do Picture in Picture was shoved behind a ridiculous monthly/annual/lifetime premium. Hope they bring back the older version.

So the issue is whenever I try to import a video to loop it crashes sometimes but recently is been happening a lot. Again super good app but Looper just crashes when I try to import a video.

When I add new videos, the new video seems to overtake the previous video I just watched on loop. By overtake, I mean it deletes the video I previously watched and takes its place where it used to be. It’s extremely annoying and hope you can fix this. Other than that, this is a great app.

Hi, I did send an email. I was upgraded by your company last year as a courtesy because your app was giving me a lot of problems and I reached out via email.
Now that you’ve upgraded you knocked my courtesy upgrade out and told me to try and restore. It’s not restoring because you removed the courtesy upgrade that was on my account. This is really bad business. I’ve never had a company offer a courtesy upgrade then take it back.

I love the feature making it play in the background. But there is just one bug; after first use it doesn't play in the background anymore. I love Looper ; it's well designed; but if you can fix this problem, that would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe just opinion, but it’s a bit hard to understand how to figure out how to repeat the video, took a bit of poking around.

Unlike the competitors, Looper currently has a privacy policy. And big bonus, the policy is simple, easy to understand, and (assuming it’s honest) outlines totally reasonable collection practices. Best quote from the policy “we don’t even have Server to store [personal information].” Oh and app totes loopered my vid.
