It feels like the story’s just starting at book 6!!!

I’ve had WeirdwoodManor for a while with the intention of buying all the books but when I got back on it a couple days ago, I learned that all books are now free!!!
I loved the story and characters.
The world feels so real and it’s not stagnant.
It’s absolutely amazing and for someone who loves fantasy, it’s amazing and I can’t wait for more.

Also who ever did the art and design of this game is amazing.
I’m finding loads of inspiration from just looking at it.

The story is absolutely amazing and I found myself almost unable to turn away till it was over.
The story may have a simple basis but with the world it’s set in and the characters reaction to it all, it makes it feel like that’s not true.
The characters and world are so complex that it more than makes up for the simple story line.
Absolutely amazing.

The voice acting is also amazing.
A little different from what I expected at first but it warmed up to me.

I also love that you can find things along the way and find out more about the world as you go through it.
It feels so real I pretty much forgot time existed until I look up.

Over all if I could give this game more than 5 stars I would.
Definitely worth it.

Dear Developers,
So in your response to a reviewer you stated that the second volume would be coming out that spring/summer. That was 2 YEARS AGO... I know that coding and development is a pain and not easy, but when you tell your fans to expect the next stage out in a few months, and 2 yrs later, we’re STILL waiting, you lose those who’ve held on! Like myself!
I absolutely love this book! I can’t find any other book out there that’s as interactive, interesting, creative, as this one! I’ve had WeirdwoodManor on all my iPads for more that 3 yrs. I’ve sent requests asking how much longer and get the same response!
Please release the second app!

There are things in every scene to do so make sure you pay attention and find all the hidden items in each scene! You must play this one before playing the new one when they finally release it! It will play off of the ending of the first volume.. this one..

The story kept my interest and I found myself thinking about it when I wasn't "playing" the "game." It is sort of a book being read to you while you can look around for hidden objects and playing interesting games. The "hidden objects" are items you find when you use a special critter helper; they shimmer and you tap on them. The items you find go into a journal which adds depth to the story line. The journal eventually has dozens of snippets on different characters and critters of fae origin; many time with some humor involved.

I'm a 65 year old mom and it is my opinion both adults and children will enjoy this interactive book/app.

The story ends with a cliffhanger which makes me hungry for the next part...

My son said the book/game was "Awesome"! It only took him a week to finish the entire series. He is hoping that you come out with a new edition soon. Here are his recommendations for updates and/or improvements: Set up adapted sensing challenge levels so kids at any learning level can play along easier side by side. I have a brother with Cerebral Palsy and autism. He loves reading, but games are harder for him. I have autism, too. But I am really good at games and math, not reading as much as him. He's really good at reading biographies and facts. This game is great because we could play together if the challenges would sense how he responds, and adapt to his ability.

I came across this when I had an assignment for a class to review a picture book app (studying to be a teacher). I had only expected to flip through the first "book" for the paper and I ended up buying the entire series because I became instantly hooked!!

The story makes me think of Harry Potter meets A Series of Unfortunate Events meets Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. It's mysterious enough to constantly keep you hooked, but not so overwhelming that it's confusing or creepy.

This is a WONDERFUL app for any kid that HATES reading. The design and interactiveness of the story makes you forget that you're even reading because you get so absorbed in the story. It's easy enough for kids to work WeirdwoodManor and read, yet advanced enough that it will challenge their reading skills and adults can enjoy it too.

I read somewhere that the developers had said that the next chapter will come out in 2017, and since November is almost over I'm hoping it must be soon! Eagerly waiting to see what happens next!!

These are even good for a second or third read/play. So much to look at and discover. The story keeps your interest while the hidden items, mini games and fun facts add another dimension. When is the next volume coming out? It said 2017 at the end of book six, volume one but it is almost 2021. :( I’m dying to find out what happens next...

If you haven’t gotten these yet, what are you waiting for? You will be amazed at the creativity, the stunning visuals and the fun puzzles throughout.

I have no words to describe WeirdwoodManor... unless you count intriguing, captivating, and awesome! I was hooked from the beginning and normally don't make in-app purchases like ever, but I made an exception for WeirdwoodManor because it was so good. The story is enthralling, the graphics are amazing, and the puzzles are fun. It's beautiful. Fair warning though, there's going to be basically a second series, kind of like a sequeal-ish, but it's not out yet (it comes out this year?). So, I'm going to be in agony until comes out. Overall, WeirdwoodManor is spectacular. (Saying this as a teenager)

I bought this for my son, but found out so intriguing that I ended up playing/reading myself. The narrator's voices are just superb and the games and interactive bits are fun and interesting and sometimes even slightly challenging for me as an adult. I downloaded it while it's free and I'm glad they have that offer because I wouldn't have otherwise, however if/when they do start charging for it I will gladly pay because it will definitely be worth it!!

I JUST CANT. I never made any in-app purchase before, but for this game I just HAD to. The first 2 chapters were not enough for me to just delete the game. I had to know what would happen next in Weirdwood manor! And the $8 where soooo worth it 😻😻 Encourage yourself to buy thissssss!!! Best part? WeirdwoodManor IS FREE ITSELF! When is the new series coming out? I mean don’t get me wrong these books are amazing! But I mean seriously I’ve waited so long for the new series to come out if you developer see this message please add a response and say when the is the new series is coming out. Thank you. :-)

I have played this game and found just about every secret. Though after five play throughs I am still wishing for at least one more book or a new game to describe the place that Oliver went to or why he is there. Nonetheless the game is amazing because it got me interested in solving puzzles more than just a game or investing my money into a story more than just a book, it ended on a cliff hanger though. That is the only bad part!

At first, I was just looking for something do do, but now I wish I hadn’t because I have no spare time. I’ve completely finished the game and now I’m playing it over and over again. It’s literally taking up all my time and I can’t wait until escape from Weirdwood manor.

My daughter and I loved reading these and doing the puzzles. We loved finding the hidden objects and we loved the story line. We read them several times, while waiting for book seven....but when will it come out?

My child is 10 and has an advanced reading level. Many interactive books are simply too babyish for him. This is an amazingly written book and it completely captivated him. He loved it! I can't wait to see more from this developer.

You need to complete certain pinball games for certain game components but there is no offer to solve for them as there is for other puzzles. Is the fun supposed to be the the story or needlessly fiddling with a silly sidebar game? They need to fix this. If a person wants to complete one and get on with the story there is no alternatative option. Why won’t the fairy creature offer to solve these as with the others? The puzzles shouldn’t be irritating. The idea of a video game should be first and foremost, entertainment.

Wonderful story, characters, screens, mini puzzles, can't wait for the next series of books. Wish there were more books like this to enjoy.

So first off this is an amazing game and I totally recommend buying the other books. Although when will you release the next one(s)? I'm pretty sure I remember it saying that you'd release it in 2018 and well.. It's 2018 now. Will it be soon or a few more months?

I don't usually put reviews on games, but I'm really enjoying this adventure! I hope they make more games! The sound track is wonderful and the visuals are just fantastic! And finding out about the creatures and solving puzzles is just amazing. I'm just really enjoying this game!

This is a great game! Me and my mom both loved to play this together! I’ve been wanting the 2nd app to come out so I can see what’s next! I’ve had WeirdwoodManor for 2 years I think waiting for it! I just want to know when it will come out??
