Don’t believe MakeAPose purchase thing it says that you’re going to get “no ads” but it’s actually to use MakeAPose practically I couldn’t move it to how I wanted it to and it’s not because it’s physically impossible I can do it also it had physically impossible things and it’s annoying 😠😡😩 unless you’re willing to pay I recommend not getting MakeAPose all the male models are the same exact thing and if you pay for other models it’s the exact same there’s no female models unless you pay there’s no horse models unless you try and guess PAY I am not a person who likes to pay for Itsy-bitsy things HECK I AM NOT OLD ENOUGH TO PAY

Not worth it!!!

2022-06-28

When I got MakeAPose it was with hope that it would make posing easier than just finding pictures online, I can tell you right now it was not. The moment I opened MakeAPose I couldn’t get the simplest task done without a pop-up ad. Then when I went to change my character to a female it didn’t allow me to change without buying ad-free for $1.99 USD. When I bought that I soon realized that I had wasted money because of the unnatural posture and positioning, I wouldn’t recommend MakeAPose for anyone.

False advertising

2022-07-29

Ok so I go into MakeAPose and say I want a horse or robot model cause I need to draw that you have to pay just to get it, and when it says that you can unlimited models it lies you can only have one.
This I see as false advertising cause I wanted to learn to draw a human avatar girl but yet I don’t want to pay I saw this as a free application so I tried it out yea no not what I wanted.
If you just want a male model and you fine with that then this is MakeAPose for you unless you want an item being that when you place an item you can’t make it go so I’m sorry but MakeAPose needs to fix this in others words just get a real one it’s probably better than this

Accessibility

2022-08-30

I like this game but why doesn’t the hips move? Like when you selects the hip area, it moves the whole pose. I was taught when the shoulders were at an angle, the hips would be in the opposite angle. The only way to do that in your poses is to rotate the whole pose at an angle and then move the legs and arms to point straight down. Also, you need to have a better accessibility in general. Especially when trying to load new poses of different things. I suggest put a plus icon on the top right or left of the menu to pull up a box that says “ do u want to save the existing pose?”. Then, if the customer says yes, it saves the pre existing pose and goes into a new pose they’ve selected. If they select no, it will not save the pre existing pose and will go to the new pose they’ve selected. All in all, i think this is very good for reference, but you need to make it more accessible to the customer.

What is up with the over the top Blue Select now?!

2022-10-01

Why is there a huge blue ring or aura around the selected areas I wanna move? I can’t recall it ever being that thick or extended outside the selected body part and it makes it hard to select sometimes cause it’s so big and even covers up the parts selected like hands especially when a character is zoomed out making it impossible to select the right thing. I’m not sure if this is a glitch but It’s rediculous, can this please be fixed and can you just make the area that’s selected tinted blue or something less crazy like that.

I would be more then happy to send you a pic of what I’m talking about if that helps.

This good tho

2022-11-01

Hello, today I had installed MakeAPose when I started it was kinda hard to use but in a few minutes I got the pose I wanted now it’s easy to use it very useful and good but I don’t like that you have to pay for other things and there are a lot of adds in my opinion but other than that MakeAPose is good.

Fabulous idea

2022-12-03

I have to admit that I’ve only played with the poses so far and haven’t yet utilized the tool in my actual artwork, but WOW! This is such a fabulous concept! I’d love to know more about the developers’ inspiration because this is a game changer in terms of how much time I might take on perfecting a pose. The instructions could be more clear and written in a more legible font and I’m happy to help you with that if you’d like. 🙂

It’s great and easy to use

2023-01-03

This is great if you want to just mess around like me. It’s easy to use. I haven’t tried to use a prop yet but I think it’ll be fun to use. But I don’t like how much stuff you can’t use without the in-app purchase. I think they could have at least let you use the female model. I also think it would be cool if you could have two human models at once. Over all good game I recommend.

Just add this one thing..

2023-02-04

MakeAPose is great and works perfectly for me but if there was a shoulder adjustment (like how people can move their shoulders up and down) option then it would be perfect! Even if it was just being able to move the arms up to simulate, that would add more possibilities for poses with MakeAPose .

Uh...

2023-03-08

I don’t usually write reviews, but I think that you should add a few things, first, add a feature where you can design your own characters,I don’t want to have to buy something to get more models btw,I think that should be for the settings and a few shapes, not the models. Other than that,it’s a pretty fun game, although I wish there was a record button for recording poses, that would be fun, anywho,I hope you add these recommendations! :D

Useful, if a bit unintuitive

2023-04-06

This is an extremely useful reference app, particularly because you’re able to change the proportions of the characters. Want a long, lean reference? Or maybe something proportioned like a chibi? You can make either with MakeAPose. Multiple characters and even some primitives and other props? Check. The interface is a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, you can move quickly.

Free and good!

2023-05-08

You don’t have to make any purchases to use the basic features and save poses! Takes some time to get the hang of it, but it’s fairly intuitive and worth the effort. I used it to get some pretty wild JoJo poses [if you know, you know] and it let me push way past the technical limits of other free 3D models. I’ve already recommended MakeAPose to quite a few friends because I’ve had such a good experience with it! I may even buy the paid version soon because it’s not that much money and you get even more save slots and models

Great Tool

2023-06-08

I've tried a few different pose apps, and I usually find them hard to control. Make a Pose, however, is intuitive and versatile. It took me only a few minutes to get fairly good at the controls, and I can quickly make great poses to try drawing. There's also a lot you can do without paying (although I'd argue that the developer deserves the couple dollars!). Would recommend for anyone who wants an easy to use pose reference on their phone.

The ultimate iOS posing app!

2023-07-10

“Make A Pose” boasts an intuitive and brilliant ball-joint UI optimized for a phone or tablet. I stopped looking for iOS posing apps after installing this one.

Some (but certainly not all) of MakeAPose’s strengths:
• The amazing ball-joint interface allows for total posing control, down to individual fingers and knuckles
• No rotation limits on any body parts — hyperextensions are completely allowed
• The camera panning and zoom is instinctive for touch-based devices

Suggestions:
• Incorporate fisheye lens manipulation for more/less dynamic foreshortening & perspectives
• Although the mannequin is adequate, I’d like an optional less segmented model

My only major criticism would be:
• The thin-stroked white text on the light gray background is extremely hard on the eyes. Needs contrast

Overall, this is an invaluable artist's aid for an illustrator on-the-go. The free version gave me everything I needed, but I happily upgraded to support the developer, whose dedication to improving the program is clearly evident in the comments/feedback. It’s my absolute pleasure to support MakeAPose.

Awesome! Definitely get this app!

2023-08-10

I heard about MakeAPose from my sister, who basically used me as a guinea pig to see if MakeAPose was good or not....HECK YEAH IT IS! This is one of the most useful apps I’ve come across, all the other ones are quite limited while this one is free and gives you full control. Yes, there is no feminine body, and there are certainly things you had to pay for that would make it even better, but I personally find it good enough. If I want a feminine character, I just change it in the actual drawing, and use the model mainly for how the body would react. This is honestly such a great app and has been SUPER useful to me as an artist. Definitely get MakeAPose if your having trouble with poses, or simply want references.

More than I expected in the best way

2023-09-11

MakeAPose is honestly amazing, even the free version. I’ve had the full version for a few months, and I’ve been nothing but happy with it. The multiple objects, characters, and colors, as well as the amount of customization is great. Absolutely the best posing app out there!

Better than Magic Poser.

2023-10-13

MakeAPose is so much better than the other pose apps as of now. It’s been updated several times and has everything an artist could ask for. It has morphing and locking options, male and female models, and so much more! The only thing I could ask for is an option where you can flip the screen. Otherwise MakeAPose is great!

This app is amazing!

2023-11-13

I love MakeAPose. It’s one of the best free posing apps I’ve found. The fact that I can move individual fingers is a nice feature. I also like that I can watch an ad for a model instead of using my free trial, or buying premium. Honestly, I can’t complain. Takes a few minutes of playing around with to figure out, but that’s how it is with most things in life. Great app!

Useful!

2023-12-15

It takes some time getting use to, but it’s really a helpful app for creating character poses. I was excited about the different camera angles and the positions you can put the character in. I would say camera angle is the most important for setting a pose, then you can place your character accordingly.
Have fun! And Thank you!

Great app for artists who need references! How to move objects though?

2024-01-15

MakeAPose is fantastic and I love using it for references. It provides realistic proportions, you can import objects, etc. My only problem is that I can’t figure out how to move the objects into an entirely different area (trying to move a sword into a hand). Aside from that, which could just be me, I love it :)

Not worth it!!!

Great for artists

2024-11-17

This is a great app for artists struggling with drawing people(and horses). I use MakeAPose all the time and recommend it to any artist. It's free and you don't have to pay much at all to use more that 2 characters at a time and remove adds. Get MakeAPose it's so worth it for drawing.
