Hack Ex Reviews

I play this game nearly every day and I really enjoy the features it does have. If this game still gets updated I do have a few suggestions. The upload time for viruses is a bit ridiculous. Uploading a level 60 virus on another computer takes several days but I can crack into a level 150 password encrypter/bypasser in only a couple of hours. Most other players have level 100 or higher antivirus so unless they are not active it is not worth it to upload high level viruses. I have encountered a few bugs as well. Rarely there is a device I bypass that shows multiples of each app. Also rarely it will tell me that I already have cracked the program when it is not even though it isn't in my cracked list so I have to delete the bypass and restart for it to work. These bugs don't happen very often but they do happen sometimes. I think a feature where you could see what devices another player bypassed/cracking/uploading would be good. If it's possible It would be cool if you could access another player through their bypass. It might be a good idea to add a command line interface where you can scan for viruses, bypass, crack, upload etc. using the command line. Adding different types of viruses such as DDoS, packet sniffer, etc. would be a good idea. Maybe also adding traps to people trying to crack into the bank or being caught by cops and having to pay a fine for failing. Those are all the ideas I can think of but hope this game continues to get updated.

I want to preface this by saying I have already reached out to the developer but have yet to receive a reply. Recently I became introduced to watch dogs two on PC and I thought this would be a fun little game to complement that. It is, I only have two complaints.

1) when you attempt to make things go faster with ads it doesn’t take the percentage off the total it takes the percentage off the remaining. This means that you get a bigger bang for your buck at the start and less later. This may be by design but I don’t personally like it.

2) on my iPhone X, advertisements that feature the close button in the upper left-hand corner do not work. What I end up doing is loading an ad and if it is one of those, I close the entire game reload it and try again. Needless to say it’s slightly annoying. Now I have reached out to developer but it has been over a month with no reply so this game may be abandoned. It’s fun, but I doubt I would spend money on it simply because of the inactivity of the developer.

It is a amazing game I jave some suggestions thought, like that it takes two months for me to upload spam level 35 AND I have max phone and max data, also it would be nice to add more viruses such as ransom ware, A remote access Trojan and a leaderboard for your highest amount you have stole also a way to copy the i.p. Addresses so you can ping them if you deleted them before you cracked the password, maybe add a worm that you could make where either you have to go near someone irl who has the game and it will jump to there account OR where people who connect to the device with the worm on it, it will spread unless you have a high enough antivirus the worm will automatically start cracking the bank account password and bypasses the firewall.

Most of the reason i got this game is because i liked the idea of hacking and so i believe that throughout the time that the player upgrades there device they unlock new things on the main screen or more apps to do things to other peoples accounts one other thing i would love is more 1s and 0s in HackEx because that is what coding and hacking is mostly about. I also think you should be able to join groups of people to hack people or to hack other groups and the group would have an amount of bitcoins stored in it and one groups member would have to install an app on everyones device in that groups to slowly drain their groups money and give it to the hackers group I love this game i will continue to spread it

Another user mentioned that these uploads time are ridiculous, if you upgrade too fast and end up leveling up quickly you start scanning for ips with very high levels, therefore getting stuck on being unable to crack their passwords because they have level 35+ encryption.. so you can’t make money unless you wait the 150 plus days to download their encryption level...
it’s also very tiresome to go down a list of IpS I’ve bypassed and check one by one if i have uploaded my spam/spyware... another user commented saying it would be nice to see if these were done by adding some type of icon..
i propose a simple solution, on the bypass screen, incorporating little icons nexts to the ip to show if it has been cracked/uploaded with spam/ uploaded with spyware !!

It’s a simple fix that would make the game easier to play, but eventually if they don’t do something about these wait times, I’ll probably uninstall it cause I’m not gonna sit around for 5 months for an upload( yes i know i can upgrade the network) but I’m stuck in limbo because my rank is too high and I’m only scanning ips with very high encryptions)

HackEx works great until you're in the late game. Downloads for high level programs take literal decades to complete, requiring the use of ads. Ads simply fail when trying to speed up the download process, causing the progress bar to be set to 1.87% and leaving it there. So, then, if you can't download higher programs then you need to buy them. You can't transfer more than 100 million Cryptocoins into your account when accessing someone else's bank account, but you also can't select how much to transfer when you're on their account screen, it will always take the maximum and only give you 100 mill of that number. I was #12 on the leaderboards because I was able to make some huge gains, now I've dropped to the high 30s despite getting on every day and trying in vain to increase my status. Because of all the issues I've outlined, the game essentially becomes unplayable after a certain point.

I love the new update with wallpapers and 5G but I believe a really great addition would be mini games and messaging/friends list. Also custom profile pictures...
So far I've had a lot of fun but after a while it gets very boring... You should also add public group chats like HackEx Amino. Lastly, bitcoins are very overpriced for example 20$ for 72K bit coins is nothing for a level 30 like myself that ran rack up to 2 million bitcoins in just a single week. So a good idea would be you get different amounts of bitcoins for the same price at certain levels.
Level 1 could buy base purchases and say a level 30 could buy more but coins for the same price. Say instead of 72K you could buy 7.2Million.

I simply can’t explain how fun this game is, it does take time. within a week I’m already high rank! I really hope the developers are reading this because I have a suggestion!
Could you please add a pause download button?big downloads can slow down other downloads like trying to bypass a firewall! i want to be able to download big files while I sleep, and pause them during the day so I can hack faster.
Please put this in consideration! Thank you.

Edit: Had about 290 mil Btc in my bank, uploaded 2 lvl 1003 spams and it just reset my bank because it tried to give me 3 billion. Please dev if you're reading this just make this simple fix by adding more to the cap itll make things way simpler. For this Im making my review 4 stars

I remember in early 2015 when the game first came out I was immediately captivated by how simple yet rewarding a game could be. It kills time super well seeing that overclocks are very easy to obtain id spent well. Hack Ex dev, I remember a group chat you were in I was in too, you were very kind to people then and I must say you're doing very very well. I just downloaded it again after 5 years of not touching it and I think I will be playing it more

Just got the game and already notice some issues
1. I don’t know when I’ve been hacked
2. Is like to make friends with some of the people but requesting does nothing because there is such a specific place to see requests no one goes to it
3. I’d like to see some penalties if you have a virus like slower download / upload speed 4 it is hard to see how much faster you are downloading things so add la dial at the bottom of the screen showing how many kbps or mbps you are getting
5&4 when downloading / uploading something show how many gb is needed so it is an accurate reading
6 different viruses like ones that slowly multiply slowing down the persons loading time while multiplying your money but they will be able to see that they are downloading slower so you won’t be able to collect for long. And other scenarios like that
7 or team up with a max of one or two of you friends to take down a big Pearson
7&8 make it so you can scope out higher ranked players. It will take for ever but some people might try

The game is fantastic! I pretty much play it everyday and through the day; however I sometimes get bored and almost feels old after a while. Could there possibly be more added like: missions (assigned to help those who need it like getting info or money) and/or also add something else to steal or acquire other than just money to buy upgrades. Also more upgrades to buy to improve upload time or download time, etc. would also be awesome. These are just some suggestions to improve gameplay and add more interest to it. Although, aside from all that, this game is fantastic and insanely interesting to play!!!

I rate 4 star but The reason it could be five is because other people that have accounts on the game might leave the game and all of a sudden their account is still there if you could delete those accounts then the game could be five stars because it’s kind of hard to find a device that has money so if you could find a way to find the accounts that are inactive then delete them and or send them an email with a link saying “to reactivate their account click this link and login to account deleted you have 48 hours to do so” if you can do this let me know and I’ll rate 5

The game is really good but I think you should add some more features in the game. Like being able to make a hacking team to bring down other hacking teams or op hackers. And you could put a feature of getting an app that tells you when your being hacked. Also, you should be able to give money to someone and be able to threaten a player to give them money or they will put a virus on the device. That reminds me, you should add more viruses that are harder to get off your device. Please take this into consideration creators of this game. Thank you if you do.

I like this game but I have some new features that you could add. Can you add a pause button so that I can pause certain processes so that other ones will load faster? Can you also add DDoS attacks so that you can slow down victims processes? Can you add a way to pay people as well? I think it would be cool if you could add a bitcoin miner or a way to buy and sell bitcoin to make money. If you could add those things, or just one of them, I would really appreciate that!

This game is actually quite a fun game once you get down to things and start understanding how everything works, but that goes for all games, though this one is the most interesting and unique game I’ve played my first review is a good one for this game. 10/10 I recommend it. (Bonus: No ads forced in my face from what I’ve experienced, only ads for if you wish to decrease the time it takes for something to complete.)

There is 2 big flaws in this game that I hate so much. The first one is that it takes like 20 sec just to buy one firewall upgrade when your high in lvls and the second one is that you have to buy one thing at a time. If the devs see this plz put something to make it so that you can buy more then one lvl at a time. Like put a slider after your click buy or something. But yes this game is real fun to play with friends mostly because if they leave there phone somewhere you can take it and take a picture of there IP and then hack them

I agree with the statements of some others that when watching ads to speed up a download or upload time can cause a download to go from 40% complete to 0.15% complete. With downloads literally taking years to complete for a game… only way is to continue hacking and cracking but there comes a time that people upgrade encryptors before you can crack them since it takes so long to crack without watching ads. It is starting to get unplayable.

Great app, would be nice if before trying to penetrating a network a reconnaissance about the network is giving. Amount in bitcoin, app with there level of security. Then you know if your going for this or not. And I nice arrangement should also be giving in process. That is the new network added to bypass and the password cracking side. It get confusing when you trying to hack a lot of network at the same time.

I’ve been playing this game since the 5 grade and i’ve stopped and recently got back on and i’m about to graduate and it’s the same sense of nostalgia and i love it so much! The only thing i don’t enjoy out of this game is how much time it takes to complete a process. As of right now i’m uploading spam and it’s going to be done in 9 years. How is that realistic? i would love if there was a better way to speed up uploading times other than overclocks and ads because i would rather now have to spend hundreds of dollars to upload a spam.

When you first start off, the game is very fun and very addictive. Once you progress to a certain point, however, the game completely loses steam and there just isn't anything to do but collect your money or watch 5-6 adverts on a certain hack/upload/download process to shorten your wait time.

The amount of OC you have to pay to speed some of these jobs up is purely ridiculous and watching a handful of commercials every day just to make some headway on a single process isn't worth the time and effort.
