I have technically had LegalShield since the beginning of the year, but in the past five months, they have been unable to link my account number to my account so I cannot use LegalShieldLawFirmsOnCall or website. I have spent countless hours on the phone. First, they made an error that did not allow the account to activate. Then, it would not accept the credentials for a few months. Finally, I had an account, but it is not linked to the actual account number so I cannot use the website or app. Their IT department started working on this one month ago. They have made absolutely no progress. I have spent money each month to spend hours on the phone with their customer service, explaining each time what has been done before. They will not communicate by email so the only way to talk is to go through this ridiculous phone process, which involves automated questions and copious hold time, then explaining everything yet again. It is insane. It is possible that the legal assistance is useful. I wouldn’t know. I haven’t gotten that far in the five months that I have had it.
Update: Here we are more than six weeks after I left this review and received the response that if I emailed this slightly different email address, they would solve the problem. I have emailed them multiple times, and the only response I have received in that time is that someone would be contacting me. If I could give less than one star, I would.
