Correction: With the latest update it became impossible to gain permanent control over your provinces. Province income is (was) the only reliable form is progress in the game. Now each province can and will be taken back from you, even if they are at max (level 50). It is a considerably long time investment to reach level 50, and losing at least one province each day is a big discouragement. The game has become like the story of Sisyphus, it doesn't matter how hard you try, you'll never do real progress.

This is a good game with an interesting strategy. While I have been enjoying it so far, I've noticed many users in the Arena that have units with impossible stats. One of them, user (...)Molotov(...) has a "Grand Master of Air" with a damage score of 931 and a"High Witch" with Initiative higher than 300! :/. There are almost no bugs, and as long as you don't expect to play the Arena, it is an enjoyable game that does not require PtW.

Full disclosure, I LOVED heroes of might & Magic... so was excited for this game. The game itself is fairly fun, but the battle mechanics are slow and repetitive. One of my biggest complaints is you don't actually get to see your town or the buildings you are buying. Feels disconnected to just build a town, buy / sell items & resources ALL through text windows and small pictures. Would also like to see the stats of the units the buildings turn out BEFORE buying. Resources are generated WAAYY too slow. A more visually exciting way to manage army, town, market etc would be a huge level up.

Unlike some, I like the way the castle and buildings are 2D; it makes for faster play for the mundane tasks so I can get back to conquering lands and quests. I can’t thank you enough for the Valley Troll given to me at the start of the game. 👹

Great game I have been looking for a good strategy game for a long time that I could play on my tablet awesome the only thing that would make this game better is to be able to play as the undead, the elves, the orcs, or some kind of demon faction like Disciples but over all an awesome game

I’ve been playing for a day, decided to purchase The Crusade! It worked great the night I bought it, literally the next morning it was telling me about this great deal on The Crusade, and how I didn’t have it and was then limited in my stamina. Com’on guys, where’s my crusade?!

First things first! It’s been 2 years and the game has not been updated much in terms of new heroes or races. However! With that being said the game remains still pretty cool and enjoyable. Strong reminder of the Disciples series.

Dear devs! If you could please add...

1. Being able to view internal of castle
2. New factions to choose from at start
3. New heroes to choose from at start
4. Co-op play!

The map won't load if you can't connect to Game Center. Fix this and I will give a 5 star review. This is a really fun game and I like the different characters in it but you have to fix this problem. I want to see my castle and the building I'm putting in.

This game can be fun...recruiting characters, advancing through levels, going into newer, more difficult territories. Great graphics - the characters all look very good.
That said, here now the reasons for avoiding this game....
1. A TON of grinding. Imagine trying to chop down a giant oak tree with a camping ax. Some of the battles you encounter will feel like that. Multiple monsters with 600+ hps, with heavy armor, which limits the damage you can deliver to 20-30 hps. Some battles will last upwards of 10+ minutes. Borrrring! Sadly, the longer you are playing this game, the more frequent this will happen.
2. Character advancement gets to be a joke. Once you get past the early levels, further leveling up DOES NEXT TO NOTHING. Example: Archer, levels up from Level 12 to 13. This takes a long time and a lot of (aforementioned) grinding to do. So, what did he get for all this hard work? His HPs advanced, From 198 to 199. NOTHING ELSE CHANGED!!! Are you kidding me?
3. Don’t bother recruiting internal characters from your buildings. You’ll eventually find they are useless against the high-level foes. Leveling up does nothing to advance The only good characters must be purchased with gold. And we all know the trope in games of this ilk: Gold costs real $.
4. No choice in starting characters. Not even the name! I’ve got two wizards who were assigned the same name, and then there are others who no name at all.
5. The foes in the upper levels are ridiculous. Example: A back row of 3 enemies that have a spell that causes massive damage to multiple characters AND causes loss of turn. They can cast this spell 5 times each per combat. That’s 15 TURNS of monsters beating on you with no ability to strike back. No worries though - your entire party will be wiped out within 5 turns. The designers should just say “Pay us $50 or else everyone dies!”. There is no way to beat these levels WITHOUT SPENDING A LOT OF YOUR OWN MONEY.
6. “Thank you for your comments. We’ll see about your remarks.” SERIOUSLY?!!!? Pasting a canned comment at the end of every review is pathetic. It means they haven’t read it, and they are ignoring you, the customer.
7. Unless you like playing “Pay $ to win” freemium games, avoid this one.

I have tried repeatedly to get into the PvP arena and although I am properly logged in, can not. I have tried for several days now.

Also, the game balance is way off in several ways. For instance, in one of the early locked areas you meet a monster that is 100 resistant to physical damage (including magical weapons). Only spells can kill it but you need at least 2 spell casters, a lot of luck and about an hour or two waiting for that luck. Using 2 spell casters at this stage of the game is suicide due to one of the other ways this game is imbalanced.

Further, the "quests" are irrelevant to the game making for boring game play. There is no goal or end point and no clear way to earn/save enough silver to buy the upgrades you need.

Do yourself a favor and take a pass on this game.

I like the game a lot. Its says in the description of LordsofDiscordFantasyTBS there are multiple heroes yet in FAQ it says there is only the one.
I would like to know if there are in fact other heroes and how do you unlock them?

Game play ok, but major bug. All my equipped items disappear and are gone from time to time except from Main character. Also at my level costs more to fight in arena than I make.

This is honestly one of the better strategy/RPG games I've found so far on the iOS platform. It's well-designed, the combat is enjoyable (if not particularly innovative), and the graphics are absolutely gorgeous. I also really like the decision factor of which upgraded unit form you want to take for each unit type, as they are all different and play into the various strategic situations in the game. My only real problem is that the tutorial seems to be a bit lacking; more explanation needs to be put in for the resistance and protection parameters, which are vital to the way combat works. In the 3d areas, there is a way to check the stats of the units you're fighting before you go in by holding down your finger on them, but it's a bit finicky and doesn't always work. It would also be nice to be able to preview the stats and abilities of unit upgrades like the Guard or the Witch, as it can be difficult in some cases to tell exactly what the differences in abilities and power (and thus strategic usefulness) between them in the menu screen without buying both upgrades and manually comparing them. This is a bit of a waste of resources, especially early on, and it doesn't help that the enemy versions of those units don't necessarily have the same stats or abilities. That last part isn't a big problem in and of itself, since it adds good variety, but it can get a little annoying when you end up wasting a ton of runes on a unit you thought was more powerful against certain types of enemies than it actually seems to be. Apart from those relatively minor issues, this game is so much fun, and it adds to the enjoyment that it doesn't force you to spend real money to get ahead. Keep up the good work, developers, you've got a real winner here.

If they can fix the crashing issue during battles then I would recommend this game but not as is. Sorry.

Love the concept, art style and animations.. but nothing much to do.

the game is not made to play on the iphone only iPad. Font is to small to see. other than that I deleted it from my device

Добрый день, начну с того, что у меня в телефоне 2 игры - "Ваш клон дисайплес" и "без рекламы". И руки начали тянутся оставить одну, как вы поняли - не вашу.
Поэтому решил попробовать вам написать, возможно вы сделаете ряд изменений, которые вернут интерес к игре у подавляющего числа игроков.
1. Убрать захват нейтралами "моих" провинций - много человеко-часов было потрачено на некоторые здания 20уровня. Повторять этот подвиг - уж простите, желания и интереса нет абсолютно!
2. Расширить карту в общем - это точно будет интересно всем!
3. С захватом можно сделать ВКУСНУЮ локацию(ЗОЛОТАЯ ШАХТА) , которую будут отжимать те же нейтралы, но что бы она не поднималась в уровне. Например захватил, тебе капает с неё золотишко, без возможности улучшения, т.е проходи данж сколько угодно, призы там ценнее, противник бодрее, но больше фиксированного дохода- не подучить, хотя может я и не прав на счёт возможности улучшения. Это надо думать уже вам, что бы это не ломало экономику игры.
4.Добавить уникальные событийные ивенты, с призами , которые кроме как на ивенте - никак не получить. Люди захотят их проходить. Как пример, ближайший праздник 8марта- банда суровых феменисток ворвалась на карту и за её захват - уникальный приз(ы). С юмором и интересом так сказать.
5. Было бы шикарно, если можно было перенести игру на ПК . Я с вами уже две батареи на яблоке сменил, надо иметь совесть))
6. Реализовать как в Disciples возможность выбрать рассу с уникальными юнитами и хотя бы парочкой героев( если без выбора героев см пункт 7).
7. Улучшения героя, переработать полностью. Дать человеку выбор умений который он может добавить своему персонажу. И сделать его танком, магом, лучником и/ или накладывать дебаффы/баффы.

Пожалуй-это основы с которых я хотел начать, заранее спасибо за колбек, надеюсь игра не умрет .

I don't really understand how to do it and when I downloaded it off an app called appman I got no credits. What am I doing wrong?!
