Yearbook Snap Reviews

The idea for YearbookSnap is great. But it’s not user friendly at all. IF you can upload a picture, you cannot see what you uploaded to make sure it was a success. But right now it says “The original full resolution for one or more of your photos is not on your phone.” And then it doesn’t let me upload anything. When it does work, it would be nice to be able make your own categories.

YearbookSnap is incredible! The students at school can use it to send pictures directly to the yearbook class. The adviser has the ability to approve pictures before the yb class can use them as well. It is a lifesaver on a normal year and definitely during a pandemic.

I’m writing this review because when I went to go select two photos I wanted to submit, they selected not only those two photos but more random photos in my camera roll, once my class saw the photos they had a good laugh about it because the photos were pretty funny but that gets me thinking what if you had something private that you didn’t want to share with the whole school? Not very happy with my experience.

I’ve used YearbookSnap for three years. Even though, yes, it’s slow and only allows you to upload five photos at a time, it is decent enough. My problem is that I keep getting this notification that I don’t ‘have the full version’ when yes, in fact, I do. And it refuses to let me upload any more photos when the deadline is coming up and I have over 50 photos to upload for tomorrow. :/

I tried this a year ago and it's still bad. It only accesses like 50 photos from my gallery even though I give access to my whole gallery. It's just really bad and poorly managed like everything else Walsworth does. Sorry

YearbookSnap is nice and simple and you don’t have to do much to upload a photo but one thing I would love for to be added is to know if the school excepted your photo they should be able to send a thing back to you saying like congratulations or something.

YearbookSnap has been essential in us gathering photos for the yearbook during COVID-19! What I love even more is that I’m no longer wasting my time downloading pictures from my email to then just upload to the program. Love, love, love!

Works great, but I can’t wait to be able to select my own categories!

YearbookSnap only allows you to access your camera roll and doesn’t allow a simple browse through your created albums, so trying to upload photos from my kids “sports” album isn’t an option, you have to scroll back through your entire camera roll to find photos. I gave up.

Should be an easy fix but...

It’s easier for me to email the photos to myself than use YearbookSnap. It’s a good idea but when you can only upload 5 photos at a time and it closes YearbookSnap when trying to upload the photos, it doesn’t make much sense to use.

Not very functional, need improvement

I couldn’t even get it to search school. Reloaded more than once. Rebooted iPhone. It keeps saying the data cannot be read because of format. What data?

Way too difficult to use because of the horrible glitches. I liked YearbookSnap but could never get it to work

Trying to upload photos. Worked for the first 5 and now it just kicks me out every time I hit the upload button. So frustrated.

So irritating. Uploaded photos once and now it won’t let me add. Only have the option to snap photos with my camera. Such a worthless app

Anytime I try to upload a photo from YearbookSnap I get kicked out. No error message just kicked out. Very frustrating.

YearbookSnap is dog anus. It can’t detect multiple photos in my camera roll, all of which are jpegs and under 2MB. I’m sure it gets stinkier along the way, but for now I’m stuck at the first mf step.

No MUSIC category?
Band, Chorus and Orchestra have more students who participate (at least in most schools than I’m aware of) than who are on a sports team. And this is completely ignored by YearbookSnap.

Even though it does submit photos to the head of the yearbook club, there are still many flaws. For example, you cannot see the photos after you submit them. This runs the risk of not seeing if the photo was improperly formatted in YearbookSnap . There is also a lack of relevant categories in YearbookSnap , as there is no music. Another flaw is that you can only select 5 photos at a time to submit, which is very annoying when I or another student is looking to submit large amounts of photos. I hope the developer(s) of YearbookSnap consider these problems and improve upon YearbookSnap , and if they do, I will write a more positive review.
