I don't normally write product reviews, but I hate when I see negative reviews for apps when people complain they have to pay for certain featurs in an app. So, I always make a point of writing a review to counter it. Brainwell is a good app. Yes, it costs money if you want all of the features; but they do offer a 7 day trial. Don't like...then cancel. Love it, then keep playing.

    Yes this app costs

To get everything out of this app you have to pay but you are getting a service and they do update things. Just today they rolled out a whole new look. My one knock is that they need to do better at randomizing the games. Add some new ones too would be awesome. But even with those two things I still give it five stars. One more issue. The word puffer game is broken. If you make a mistake you lose pieces that you need. Even at that though 4 stars

I really liked this app, but not enough to pay the $10 subscription.... which is fine... every time I get on the app adds constantly pop up telling me to join the subscription so I stopped using the app ... and it’s been sitting on my phone well I noticed an unusual charges accumulated over the last several months, they have been pulling money out of my account for the subscription I never agreed to .... and I never noticed because when I used the app it still said it was the free version... I asked to get my money back but no reply... it’s not worth downloading if they are just going To secretly take your money

    Cool app

This app really challenges your brain. All the exercises seem easy but are not really so when you try them. The design is catchy and makes you wanna play and play. Only I would suggest that the exercise about the left and right brain to be more clear. When you try it for the first time it's hard to understand what you should do.

Fun way to train my brain

I really like this app. When I downloaded it I was offered a free trial or I could continue with the limited version with 3 games each day. By the 2nd day I was hooked and took the trial. I’m glad I did because I’m happy to say that I’ve made it an important part of my day. I feel like it’s helped me with my middle-age brain fog.

Couldn’t Take the First Step of the Test

Just ONCE can we make a brain training app that colorblind people can use? Please? I really want to work on things like focus, memory, and problem solving. However, the very first step of the initial test this app give you requires you to decipher red for green, which are the two most commonly confused colors for colorblind people. With 1 in 200 women and 1 in 12 men being colorblind, I’m surprised that I still struggle to find a brain training app I can use. I’m so sick of trying to improve my brain, only to find out that I’m unable to use every app I download.

    Not even worth the download

This app is preposterous. It’s not very smooth or clean looking (looks like iPhone 2) and is using a ridiculous model. You get access to 3 mediocre games for free and that’s it. In order to get the other games you have to pay $60 billed annually. There is zero reason to pay for this app when there are better looking and more interactive apps that are based around the same concept. And $60 for an app the you will probably only use for a month tops. Don’t even consider downloading this it is just trying to prey on idiots.

I hadn't played in a long time. Like others I was frustrated with certain things about the app. I just got the new version and I must say that it's a nice improvement. Everything just plays and feels better. I like it when devs care enough that they keep working on the apps.

It is fun for awhile. Then some levels go on way too long. Even when they aren't hard, having to sit there and do the same thing over and over again gets boring. And then some are unfairly hard. Like ones where you can't mess up at all.

I used the game to wake up in the morning but the app is not consistent. Some days I waiting 10+ minutes with the app stuck on the first blank screen. I have the latest iOS and the app is fully updated. Also, the app attempts to get you to buy the subscription way too much. It’s definitely not worth the amount it costs for some basic games that don’t really challenge the user past a high school/ middle school level.

    An excellent game,very addictive

This is completely addicting in a way I've never felt before! I can still walk away from it but the concepts seem so simple yet provide enough challenge to make me think of it even when I'm not playing! It's delightful to say the least!

    Great But Not

I really enjoyed this app, I was finding games to help me recover from a brain injury. After the free trial I decided to buy one month to try out the premium, when I checked my bill they had me signed up for a year - not month to month like it said. So I contacted them twice without a response and then had to contact apple. I don’t think it was worth the hassle but if you want to commit for a year and have the money I think it would be worth it.

Look forward to the daily exercises!

I especially enjoy the different games presented daily without knowing what's coming; that feature keeps the exercises interesting for me. I find myself looking forward to the next days mental activity.

Fun and challenging at the same time.

Always a new challenge for me, either to be my old score, or to meet a new game and master it. But the levels always get harder. I enjoy finding new strategies to creatively try and beat the system. My brain gets a daily workout!

    Absolutely brilliant game

Great brain game app, games are creative, diverse, and fun. quick, done in less than 5 minutes, generally. Games repeat occasionally, so can see your progress based on score and keep track of improvements. Would recommend.

For most apps, we can cancel the subscription anytime and will be refunded the pro-rated. However, not for this apps and cost me more than $135 and not worth paying for.
