I like Howdy Boy games largely because they are fun and free. But I end up deleting many after playing for a few days because they go from fun and relaxing to diabolical and stress inducing. This is one such game. As you advance in level the game becomes increasingly difficult. I don’t play games to feel frustrated, I play them to escape such feelings. You can go back to level 1, but that’s no fun once you know how to play. It was fun for a few days, but I am deleting.

I get to level 20 and the next time I open the game I have to start over at level one. Don’t know why I should continue to play.

I like this clever game. It’s easy to pick up when you have a few minutes. It’s not hard to play but you do have to think and plan. There’s strategy but the game is accessible. Thanks, Boy Howdy, for another good game!

Whether I close HexJewels or leave it open, when I don’t play for 10 or 15 minutes, I have to start from the beginning — Level 1. I thought HexJewels said your score is always saved so you can pick back up where you left off. It would be awesome to not have to start over all the time. If not for this issue, I would have given a 5-star rating.

I play mostly Boy Howdy games, and this is my current favorite. At first I thought that it was timed, but once I realized I didn't have to hurry, I was delighted (don't like games that make me feel frantic). Great graphics, someone had spent awhile on this! Much more entertaining because of the sheer variety of images. Thank you, whoever developed this game! Only suggestion is to have names like "newbie level," "crazy good," (whatever) for achieving 100 games, 200 games, etc, so I have little milestones to reward my addiction. :)

I really enjoy this game. It is easy to play and addictive. I would recommend this game to anyone. The game gets more challenging as you play but with "bombs" it lets you keep on playing.

This game is an example of how BH takes a game that has basically been done elsewhere and makes it better. They also have good customer service.

Take your time and think! After several levels you start to realize what you have to do when u have more than 100 tiles to match. Don't be discouraged if u have to use a bomb. Sometimes more than once! Nice fun game!

I've been playing this game for years! It's my favorite one and my go to game every where I am. Ads are small and HexJewels uses emojis that are funny. Try it you will love it! 😊👍🏻👏🏻However new front page looks silly-a kitten?????Where's our guy emoji? Please fix this.

Great potential to be fun game but the arbitrary evaporation of play when you hit a certain number on each level is extremely frustrating. How about you let us continue playing out the board before a level is deemed complete?

I love games like this. You have to match objects that are the same and clear the board as much as you can until you reach your goal. The levels get very challenging and I am so addicted! I get easily frustrated at a lot of games but I find that this game is challenging and relaxing to me simultaneously. Very fun-- I highly recommend this!

Cant get past level 38.......I’ve tried for months so no go!

Love Boy Howdy games! Hex Jewels is current favorite. But at least six others get played a lot.

It’s fun to play this game. Not very hard at the same time lot of fun. If you are depressed or waiting for someone or just to pass some time, playing this game give you positive mindset.

I recently realized how many of the Boy Howdy games I’m playing. I like word games, but also have always been a mahjong (and similar games) fiend. Keep up the good work, the customer service is unparalleled!

Boy Howdy games are all consistently good. Been playing many of their games for a long time and never get bored. Can play at your own speed and come back if interrupted. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I’ve been enjoying Hex Jewels for some time. It never gets old, trying
to clear the screen before the jewels pile up. And the most oddball jewel-icons show up. Thoroughly enjoying it!

This might be the most engaging game on my phone. It continues to be moderately challenging, but also allows me to suspend play for a few minutes to many weeks. And I always come back to it.

I hesitated for along time downloading this game. Now I wonder about why? This is a very addicting game. I've played it now for a solid 3 hours. Another winner! Thank you Boy Howdy Technology!
