Block Puzzle Jewel Legend Reviews

I love this game so my review is solely based upon two things: service and false advertising.

Two years ago, I selected the in app purchase to remove advertising for life. It worked for a while but then, during an update I suspect, the game reverted back to the unpaid option and the waterfall of advertising returned. It happened close enough to my original purchase date that I was able to contact the developer through Apple and after some time, they temporarily corrected the problem. The advertisements returned a couple of months ago, though, so now it seems as though the no ads for life offer was a gimmick to remove money from my pocket without the intent of honoring the offer.

I attempted to contact the developer via the link in BlockPuzzleJewelLegend Store, which was simply a Facebook page. The developer never replied. I’ve looked for other ways to contact them but have been unsuccessful. It’s ridiculous how difficult it is to find help over what is a pretty small amount of money. To me it’s not worth playing this game if I have to put up with the amount of advertising they use, especially after paying to remove ads, so I will delete BlockPuzzleJewelLegend . Very disappointing!

So like A lot of the reviews were not that good but it’s totally fine although I would like to know how do you lose in this game it’s just really like an on and on game not like a level game that’s what you might need to tell me or just like improve and they kept talking about the ads one person said that like when they paid for the no ads you might get ads for the awards that’s probably why and I really like this game a lot and I just think it’s an overall good game I don’t care about the ratings person about the blocks it was probably a glitch so just try plugging your phone up

So I've been playing this game for the last couple months and initially enjoyed the concept of the game. Similiar(ish) style to Tetris minus the fact you cannot flip, turn, nor rotate the pieces. My biggest issue with this game is the pieces that are recommended to me while playing. Now, some may enjoy the horrible random rendering of select pieces, but ultimately it makes the game challenging (not in a good way), because I have on multiple occasions been close to beating my high score when all of sudden the next set of pieces that have rendered is no way possible of fitting on the board and I lose the game! I have not been able to beat my high score when mind you like I said earlier, I've been playing this game for months. Overall, games like these perpetuates frequent rage quits & will probably not last much longer on my phone.

I love this game, can’t stay away from it. BUT ! The advertisements drive me nuts. Every time I finish playing I decide to delete the game from my iPad. I would rather pay for the game and not be interrupted every other move. Too bad, sometimes the advertisements put me onto pages it is hard to get out of, then sometimes I have to wait until the advertisement is over before I can go back to the game.
Sorry, it is a great game....

I enjoy BlockPuzzleJewelLegend so much! It’s so addicting and entertaining! There’s just o̠n̠e̠ problem...which is that the ADS! I despise them...there is a ad every time I start a new round/game! Sometimes there are ads in the middle of the game too...which sometimes causes me to loose my place or place it in the wrong spot. I think these app needs to bring up ads atleast 1 time out of 3 rounds/games. I think that’s the only thing that needs to improve besides that the quality,addiction,and entertainment is amazing! If the owner is reading this I’m not trying to affend you I love BlockPuzzleJewelLegend to death and I’m pretty sure s̠o̠m̠e̠ people do too! But,I think if you work on the ads e̠v̠e̠r̠y̠o̠n̠e̠ will love it to death!

I used to really love this game but they have added more and more adds. Sometimes these adds have sound and even though I am playing the game without sound suddenly my phone will start blasting sound When an add starts when it is an inappropriate time. Sometimes the game then continues to have sound when I have turned the game sound off and I have to restart the game to make this stop. Now it often has three adds before you can start the game and pop up windows with the adds before you can start and today it started showing an add with no clear way to end it so I can start the games. So no I don’t care for this game anymore. Way to ruin it guys.

This is a pretty good game, but you either have to X out of an ad 2 times or you have an extended version of an ad. I understand that is why it's a free game...because of the ads, but you really spend more time waiting for the ads to be done than playing. The worst part is they are mostly ads for games that I will never be interested in playing.....and truthfully I wouldn't download one of these games even if I was interested because I would imagine they have the same "business plan". I doubt this is going to last much longer in my game rotation...the ads are just too tedious. Maybe if they were only every 3 or 4 games it would be more fun.

Love playing this blocks game. However wish there was a way to purchase it so that we could get rid of the advertisements and just continue to play. Almost all of the games you can get now through BlockPuzzleJewelLegend Store require monthly payments. Used to be that you could purchase a game and then you would have it forever. Obviously the game makers do not target or do not give a senior citizen a break. We are all on a fixed budget. We haveQuite a bit of time on our hands and one of the best things for us is to be able to access and play a game on our devices without having to fork over dollars after dollars after dollars.

Most everyone has the same review of the game, fun but very annoying persistent never ending ads. For me the ads freeze constantly and ruin my game. I also believe the game has third party programs running on your computer while you are playing. I really enjoy playing, but it it not a seamless play. Prepare to become frustrated with is glitches. Apparently the developers have no desire to fix the problems made by all reviewers so play at your own risk.

It looks much easier than it turns out to be. (Well, actually it’s very easy to play — but it’s a challenge to keep a streak going!) Played with the sound on, the combination of the soothing ambient birdsong and silly sound effects (“Cool!”) is mesmerizing. Played without the sound, the visually bright colors and satisfying gameplay are just as nice, and you don’t miss the sound. My only complaint is the very frequent ads. But you get used to them. Or maybe pay to remove them. It might be worth it.

I’m not patient enough to play super carefully, would rather start over than spend a minute figuring out each block placement. But this game is harder to get high scores compared to other block games. I don’t really mind, but it might frustrate some players who have tried this kind of game before. I like the graphics a lot, though. And game play is smooth and without any problems so far.

I absolutely LOVE this game..I can play it for hours upon hours non stop, never had any problems at all till this update today that claimed to fix the crashing problem, now it crashes EVERY single time you view an ad n click out of it, I haven't been able to play at all since this update, don't understand how it fixed a problem when it wasnt a problem n seems to have made a problem, could u please correct this cuz it seems to now be broken

I’ve been enjoying this game for almost a year now. It’s very entertaining for in between tasks or when waiting in line, but the sounds!! it’s very annoying that even if I mute it I can still hear it. Sometimes I enjoy the radio while playing and the game music is in the background playing at the same time!!!! I tried deleting BlockPuzzleJewelLegend and downloaded again but it only worked for one time. Developers; Please fix this I don’t want to stop playing it :(

This game is really good, and here’s why: Challenging, fun, bit frustrating, you get the point. I love the game, but there’s a lot of things that need to be fixed. #1. Inappropriate ads for young audiences. #2. Ads. Yes, the most complained one. Every time I loose, 8 get an ad. If I end up playing a round for a long time, I get an ad. #3. It gets frustrating at times when you have a little bit of space, but it gives you the biggest shapes. I love the game, but I’m most worried about inappropriate ads, so please do fix that. I have had this game on my phone for several years now and I enjoy playing it. There are advertisements but they are not overwhelming and do not happen during the actual gameplay, usually after you finish a puzzle and you are allowed to click out of them rather fast. 4 stars only because I would still like the opportunity to buy out of any ads!

So I was playing this game and I enjoy it a lot. I play this game in my spare time and it’s relaxing. One problem there so many ADS. When I play an ad goes in the middle of me playing and when it’s done places a block somewhere I don’t want it to go. To top it all of the games great but I really would look at the ads. Tip for everyone turn off your WiFi and then you won’t have ads.

I absolutely love this game. It’s great for helping time pass and it’s simple. However you HAVE to do something about the ads. There’s an ad after every game. Not to mention that for as long as I’ve played this game, there’s a glitch that will force a pop up ad in the middle of game play which then causes the current piece you were moving to land wherever you were hovering over as the ad popped up.

I understand it’s a free game and the ads are important, but it’s a little much for this game & ads should not be interrupting game play.

The only reason I gave it a four star instead of a five star, is that the ads are very annoying and they pop up continuously. I would have gladly paid a couple of bucks for this game in order to not have these ads popping up continuously. The game is great. It would be better and more enjoyable without all the ads. And like I said, I would have gladly paid not to have to be interrupted every single end of game with an ad.

I totally enjoy the game I just wish we had an option when we obtain a lot of point to swap out the pieces before the game just grays out. I feel like we should get a warning or something. Or if you get 100 points you can get ride of like 3 pieces or something. I mean I love it but it’s frustrating to not have an incentive to obtaining a high a score.

This game is very addicting and fun, though there are a few problems. There are way too many ads . At the beginning, end, and middle of the game, there are ads. Usually the adds in the middle of the game come at random times, and cause a block to be misplaced. Also, the ads are mostly the same and there aren’t usually any new ads.
The game itself is very fun, though the ads are random, inconvenient, and at time annoying. This is why I would only recommend this if you are very patient.
