I was excited about this app because it’s so easy to use and has the metadata recognition that actually works for once, but then I realized the year I paid for still didn’t give unlimited receipts! The pricing is burried in the app description but doesn’t show up clearly when you upgrade. It gives you only a certain number of scans for $9.99 and then you have to buy more but it doesn’t clearly say how many for how much. It just happens. Worst of all, if makes you sign in and when you do, it crashes immediately after you reopen and try to add scans. Worthless and now I’ve scanned all these receipts and will have to integrate them into a new app. I want a refund!!!

I downloaded this app because it’s rated so highly but I cannot for the life of me figure out why? It literally doesn’t even offer a field for “merchant” or “store.” Can you please tell me how a “receipt tracking app” is missing a merchant field? I mean, really? It’s also missing a field for “items.” As in, what did you pay for or buy with the receipt. Hello? Who works at this company? Who is using this app? I’m absolutely baffled how they can be missing the absolute most basic information you’d want in a receipt tracker… namely what you bought, and where. Also it costs money FOR EVERY SINGLE SCAN! ON TOP OF THE YEARLY FEE! One of the most user unfriendly interfaces I’ve used since 2010 before there were UI people working on apps. Everything needs to be in a “folder.” What’s a “folder?” You tell me. So if you don’t remember what folder you put something in you’re out of luck.

I downloaded this app because my company got rid of our expense tracking system and went back to excel and paper receipts. I wanted something free just to organize my receipts separately from all my other photos. I was immediately given a warning to setup automatic backups (in beta). Yet when I click this it automatically charged 10 dollars. If you are going to charge for a feature, it should not be in beta. Also, a warning indicating that a charge will occur should be required. I won’t use this app, despite its otherwise favorable reviews.
