Fantastic

I really like TimeTrack and paid for the minimal upgrade (the transition from free to paid was the only glitch I encountered). There are enough options for customizing and tracking your time based on billable and non-billable tasks and projects. There are many options for analyzing your time allocation, including visualization graphs and calendar overviews. My only suggestion to the developer is making the pie chart easier to export via screenshot or as a file; right now you can't capture the full data breakdown as the screen won't scroll up and hold (without pressing the screen with other hand - a workaround I found to the problem) in a placement where pie chart and written time per project "legend" are visable on same page. I print these charts and hope this minor glitch can be adjusted because visual analytics are just one of the many features offered by this easy to use and very functional app. Integrations with Apple shortcuts are very helpful and user-friendly. I've tried at least five time tracking apps and this is by far the easiest to use, the most versatile and fairly priced of them all. Highly recommended.

It has become buggy for me.

This would be a really excellent app, if it worked consistently. I have, in the past, periodically had problems with it not tracking my time. I would start a timer, and went I went back to it later it would still be going, but then if I checked on it again, the entry was nonexistent. I liked TimeTrack enough to put up with it happening once in a while. It was only once every few weeks or so. A few weeks ago it started happening a lot, and the last day I used it, I had to restart my timer four times. I sent an email to the creator, but haven’t heard back from them, and there has been no update. I found another app I can use, but I have not been able to find any I like as much as this one when it works. Please fix it! I miss TimeTrack! If they update it, and I can start using it reliably again, I will update my review, but tracking my time for work right now is complicated, and I don’t have time to put it on paper and then enter it manually later.

Good but limited

I’ve been using it for 3 months. It does fine keeping track of your time but don’t expect it to be great at invoicing and tracking payments because it’s clunky at best. I made a bad assumption that I could invoice with TimeTrack but it’s very frustrating in that area. It also doesn’t handle states and zip codes correctly and if a field is left blank it will in some cases put “null” on the invoices you send :-| Finally, if you have two devices and are backing up to DropBox, restoring on the second device isn’t working correctly. Every time I end a work day I backup. So Dropbox has a bunch of backup files. The second device doesn’t automatically restore the latest data backup. I want to love TimeTrack but there’s a good bit of usage friction for anything beyond just tracking time. And yes, I realize the name of TimeTrack is this app! :-) Here’s hoping for great future updates.

Very Easy to Use

I found TimeTrack to be very user friendly and well-designed. I've been using it for about 6 months now with no major issues. It's always handy for tracking time and allows me to time as I go or enter time after the fact when needed. The reports are easy to run. And I appreciate all the options that are available to set it up in ways that work best for me.

I found a glitch after almost a year of use, and when I contacted the support personnel, I got a quick, thorough, and thoughtful response. I was very impressed with the dedication to the product!

About 5 years

I have been using TimeTrack for more than 5 years. Updates are solid. Every time I contacted support, they were immediately responsive.
One of the most important things to me is TimeTrack is a good balance between customizable and simple. There is a lot you can do in settings to make it your own, but you don’t have to. Then if you have changed all the setting or not, the everyday usage is simple. Invoicing is awesome!!!!
One requirement I have is and do not see a way to do it is to set the overview for a two week period.

30 entry limit? Drop box restore does not work, email back up does not work

The free app only allows 30 entries, so just when you're settled in they block all new entries. There is no mention of that limit in TimeTrack description. Very underhanded.

Then:. The paid app can't find the Dropbox folder. The free app doesn't allow to send back up to email. I cannot restore my backup to the paid app.

And I cannot get my money back.

Reliable, accurate, customizable and has a built-in backup

I needed to find a replacement for another program I had previously used for years (but was not compatible with Mac OS Sierra) and really wanted the ability to track hours and generate invoices directly from my iOS devices. This program was a bit of a learning curve, however, once I set it up it has proven to be a very reliable app and has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it.

For the most part: Great app with minor issues

When I tried to send an email to support inside iOS / about, I get a message Prompt to add an email account. I have an email client ‘Spark’ and it is set as the default email client but this app does not see it. Apparently it wants to use Apple’s email client regardless. I have a suggestion but it will be a little more work to get it to this app.

Solid performer

I tried a few different apps for time tracking and in the end, billing. this app does exactly what I need it to do. I could do a lot more with it, but through it's data export I've been able to make it work with my existing system. It's simple. Captures l the data I need and let's me access that data the way I want to. Solid.

Can’t cancel the subscription

I love TimeTrack overall and I purchased the upgrade, or at least I tried. Now I’m also subscribed to some monthly thing which I am trying to cancel. But I couldn’t remember my password to the cloud that I apparently subscribed to. And so I reset and it didn’t work. So I tried to reset it again and the website wouldn’t let me. I just want to cancel whatever subscription I accidentally signed up for. But it’s not via Apple. Very frustrating.

Great app

Ive had TimeTrack for about 4 years now. It works great for keeping up on all the different projects I work on. Its great for keeping all my clients info. But the only thing i have had a problem with is when I work night shift it doesn’t seem to want to keep the correct hours. I also have problems with the over time like work threw lunch and double time and others. I would give it five stars if those problems were fixed

Great App!!

It’s a great app and I enjoy all the features but 1. for U.S. users, we do not have VAT in the U.S. we have Sales Tax That should be customizable in the settings 2. It would be really nice if we could also see the time when you take a break. So the start of the break and the end of the break on the invoice. Not just the total break time. Other than that I’m really enjoying TimeTrack . Thank you so much! Thanks, Yorg Emmert

Best replacement for Hours Keeper

I upgraded to TimeTrack from Hours Keeper as the developer of TimeTrack hasn’t updated it and it’s not compatible with the screen resolution of the iPhone X. TimeTrack has everything I need and more. Kudos to the developer for keeping it updated and for creating an app that exceeds my expectations. The sync feature is great as well.

Nice app

I find it very flexible and convenient. It serves my purposes well. Only two things I find annoying. I don't like that it opens up to the overview immediately. I'd rather it open up to the time clock immediately. I also find it inconvenient that when I want to set the start time that it automatically goes back to the last time I clocked out rather than the current time. Nice app and easy to use other than that.

So far so good

Relatively easy to understand and move around in TimeTrack . Spent time just trying everything in TimeTrack out to understand it. App does seem to learn frequent client services and settings. Still trying to figure out how to back up so nothing is lost. Rating really more between 3 and 4 because backing up not more easily understood

Great for time and billing

The software works perfectly for tracking time and expenses on projects. The invoice is semi customizable so you have your own look and feel. There is many more features that will add value to you and your customers.

Still one of the better TimeTracking solutions

I have looked at many solutions, this app Pro has covered most of my requirements and has been working well.
There are a few things the development team needs to work on and I am not a big fan of their this app cloud and subscription model - that could have been solved better.

Excellent

This is a great little App for taking care of time billing and invoicing clients and customers that I work with on the go. I really enjoyed the features both on TimeTrack and with the cloud subscription for the ease of using review on my computer. I've been learning new features of it and it seems quite powerful and growing with me as my needs it more complex. Keep up the great work guys!

I use it every day!

TimeTrack is simple to use and helps me track my time on all of the quilts that I make for customers. I break each quilt down into the various processes, and it really helps me give accurate estimates to my customers. Excellent and easy to use!

Weird behavior

Current version is acting weird. After starting the time clock, when I reopen TimeTrack after an hour or so, it shows incorrect clocked hours and doesn’t show pause and stop button, only green button. When I press it, it started clocking again.

Best Replacement to Hours with Lots of Customization

I switched from Hours to this app when Hours removed features and tried to up-sell as a service. this app is so much better and worth the cost - no up selling unless you need syncing. TimeTrack has lots of Settings for customization. The Overview feature is great for seeing custom views of invoicing amounts. I've been using for a couple of months and it works well. The invoice heading though reflects hourly even when it should be a flat project rate. [Update] Still a solid app that I use daily.

Great productivity tool!

I’ve been using TimeTrack for over 2 years and couldn’t live without it. Makes time tracking easy and efficient. I also use it for billing via email and that streamlines an otherwise painful task. A must have for consultants and other 1099 employees.

Love this app!

TimeTrack is easy to use and keeps track of time very well. It’s easy to edit customers & projects.

I know at my finger tips how many hours I’ve worked and how much money I’ve made up to the minute.

Love the ability to include the notes in the export report.

This is the one you want!

I’ve been using it for over 2 years now. Super functional with lots of bells and whistles. Highly customizable and stable! The Apple Watch addition is particularly useful and separates this product way ahead of the others!

By

Great powerful product.

I’ve been using the product for awhile now and have tried others. It’s kind of nice beings able to enter a customers information and get and accurate accounting of time spent with them

Best out there.

I don't buy many apps. I review far less. This has an exhaustive list of features that should handle both basic and more complex situations. Just get it.
