GalleryVault -Hide Photo Video Reviews

I’m glad the developer listened to the suggestions – GalleryVault now supports Live Photo’s. Overall it seems to work well (a few other additional features might be nice), however, my main gripe about it is fixed!

EDIT: I reviewed GalleryVault several months ago and at the time it didn’t support Live Photo’s. Unbeknownst to me it essentially turned all the Live Photo’s I imported into downgraded static photos which couldn’t be restored to the original format. Needless to say I wasn’t too happy about that and left a one star review. Now that GalleryVault has the Live Photo support I can start using it again!

I love it! Better than other photo vaults!! 😁👍🏼

However, the reasons why I gave only 4 stars is because this needs a copy photo to other folder option besides just moving photo to other folder option.

Also, there's a bug you guys need to squish for me ASAP. Everytime I make a new album and named it, my other albums' names change to the album I named. Please fix it ASAP!!!!!

The navigation of GalleryVault, needs to be corrected, I have the iPhone pro. It’s difficult to watch a video while in GalleryVault because of where slider is located, I always end up closing GalleryVault and sometimes it’s difficult to close something as where the X is located it’s covers the battery icon. KeepSafe does it much better Job of it’s lay out. I’m surprised this is something that has not been addressed as yet. And I have premium, if not fixed soon, definitely making the switch.

I’ve looked at two other app that was great but you had to pay 3.99 to 4.99 for them. GalleryVault does the same thing but for free. The only thing I miss about one of the other app is that besides the lock you could also pass word protect each album with a different password. If that could be added it would be better.

7 locked vaults. Holds plenty of pics each. Can transfer back and forth to photo/camera app. Has unauthorized entry alarm. Other features just right for me. Others may not like. Also slide show set up. So for i rate this vault set up 5 stars because it suits me. Don’t know if there is an upgrade yet; Haven’t contacted provider.

Just what I was looking for. Needed an app like this with great sorting and organize options. Most of these Hide Apps don’t include it. Great combination of features that most apps like this make you pay for. My only request (Which has been mentioned here already) is having an edit option within GalleryVault would be awesome. GREAT APP either way!

Can you make it so we can edit photos within GalleryVault ? And being able to move a photo from a album to another album. Because adding them back to my photos just to edit them or move them to a different album is annoying

For a long time was waiting for such an app and the best thing is its too fast unlike others like keepsafe and loco which takes hell of a time to load up images and videos everytimes u open app

And one thing i wanted to ask ,Does it backup with itunes or not?

I am having some issues with the application, i cannot open the application,feels sad that I cannot open the pictures n videos that I had saved in the application,can u plz tell me how to open the application

I don’t even know how GalleryVault is usable I tried unlocking my photos when I found the right time to use them, since I couldn’t do anything with them besides look at them in GalleryVault apparently. I can’t seem to find where the unlocked photos went they’re nowhere in my reg photo folders so I’m assuming Bruce just got wiped I’d like to recover then if I can otherwise I’ll find a better paid app this wasn’t worth my time unfortunately

My only issue is on GalleryVault is that the secrete acces on the Samsung is much better than the iPhone . It doesn’t have an icon or anything. Simply make a phone call and it opens up using a secrete number. That is much better than what is available on the iPhone. Please incorporate that secrete door on the iPhone version of GalleryVault !

It’s a great app and even thinking about getting the premium but when ever I play my vids I don’t hear anything I made sure my phone wasn’t connected to anything and rechecked the original vid in my camera roll it worked there am I transferring it wrong? Photo wise it’a great! (Will put better star review if this is fixable)

The devs did very well on this one, sure every app has its little things I would chnage here and there but the pros outweigh the cons. And $8.99/year for pro is crazy good so go ahead and support them they worked hard on this one.

Just started using it a couple of weeks ago
With a very limited photos. So far everything is okay and no problem.

It’s a good app to store extra photos in a great organized way but I accidentally deleted GalleryVault and when I reinstalled it I didn’t have my photos and then I put the same email I used and I still didn’t bring them back…..if there’s anything the developers can do please contact me!!

GalleryVault is really great but it has one annoying bug. Whenever I’m watching a video it doesn’t go into landscape mode until I bring up the control center first. And no I don’t have the rotation lock on. If that was fixed it would be absolutely perfect :)

Can’t access files on my iPad once app is downloaded to device. Will not allow me to complete device migration to new device.

Had issues with update, but the developer was quick to address and update it!

Not usable to transfer from usb to iPhone. Niether can it “migrate” files from usb. USB port devices are available to trans files to iPhone so why will GalleryVault not recognize them? Seems app will only access photos and files that are already on the phone, not import new files. That is not useful to me.

I've Been searching for a app like this for a long time. It is 100% free and it lets you store unlimited photos. I really enjoyed GalleryVault. I would recommend GalleryVault for whoever wants unlimited photo storage.
