MyGreekStudy has always been pretty glitchy. But right as they almost had it all fixed, they change it. This update is bad, glitchy, and annoying.
Being in a Fraternity that holds high standards for academics means Iβm in the library a lot. And it really grinds my gears when MyGreekStudy that recording your mandatory hours just quits and looses all your hours. MyGreekStudy gets an A+ on screwing you over.
I canβt even zoom out on the map to see where I can log my study hours. Dog water of an app.

The idea for MyGreekStudy is great, the execution is very poor. MyGreekStudy bugs so much it's actually counterproductive to use it, and the developers don't seem to care about fixing it π. Most of the time it doesn't register that you're in an actual study location, sometimes it logs way outside the location, even in the middle of the ocean. It sometimes works on Wi-fi and sometimes doesn't, same goes for cellular, sometimes it doesn't work on either. The most annoying part is half the time it records your hours it doesn't add them to your total count, or worse, it resets the count. It's a great idea, but thats not helpful is MyGreekStudy doesn't work.
I'm Vice President of scholarship of my sorority and I was so excited when I came across MyGreekStudy. The girls loved being able to get their own hours on their own time. Except it's not very reliable. The location is always off so it's telling the girls that they aren't in the location or that they've moved out of it when they really haven't and would kick them out. It would stop counting hours in the middle of the study period for who knows why. It's just way too expensive for it to be having these types of problems. I've tried everything to make it work.
Need to make this better in terms of battery usage. Drains the hell out of my battery. And make a function to have the location services on only while using. You have to click the start studying button anyways so with that it won't be draining battery while not in use.
MyGreekStudy is great & very useful, except it should have an online logging option on MyGreekStudy instead of having to log those hours on your laptop.
MyGreekStudy is great in every aspect except when you accidentally close it. I close all of my apps when I don't have them pulled up and I'm not currently using them to save my battery. So I can be in a library for 2 hours and when I go to close all of my apps that are running and accidentally swipe this one, all of that time disappears without even registering it. So all of that time was wasted because it didn't even count. If this could somehow be fixed to register the time you have already gotten if you close MyGreekStudy that would be great!
Thanks to MyGreekStudy I can clock in my extra study hours! They don't count for anything but I know the president of my chapter notices my extra hard work!!! Can't wait to clock in more hours this fall and reach my goal of 1000 hours in a semester!!!
The way MyGreekStudy monitors everyone in my fraternity's study hours is flawless, and it even helps me stay on task and get to the library so I can focus on school more. I know how many hours I actually spend studying a week rather than just having a rough estimate
MyGreekStudy has redefined the way we study in our Greek organization. Hours can actually be recorded in a very efficient manner and the grades reflect the study hours the members log in MyGreekStudy . Scholarship is not only stimulated but character in our organization has also developed in a very visible manner.
A amazing way to get students to study and my battery does not drain when using MyGreekStudy . The previous reviewers phone is likely very old and there battery is breaking. Location services is only on when it should be. Would recommend to anyone
