Stolen laptop I was trying too sel my lapptop. A lenovo thinkpad. The buyer booked the bolt. The driver arrived and took the laptop. Good Day Team Bolt Trust you well. Kindly assist me to find/relocate my cellphone. On Friday 20/01/2023 I requested Bolt from Shoprite Smith Street (Durban) To where i stay in Durban central. That was almost 2 minutes trip which costs R35 which normal price. When I've reached my destination i realized i left in the Bolt car, the reason I'm sure of this is because i used it to check cost of the trip before i jumped off the car. I tried to call it rang no one answered. From that Friday I've been trying to call it goes straight to voice mail On 22 /01/2023. One of my sisters contacted my phone round about 09:15 am she said that a man answered, and he said his name is Sakhile Ngcobo and He has been trying to look for the owner of the phone, since it was left in his car. My sister requested him to keep the cellphone on, as she was going to tell and i will call back. When i made a call round about 10: 12 am on same date my phone went voice mail since then till today. Hi Bolt support team, I lodged a complaint on the Bolt app, requesting for refunds of N2,600 and N1,400 but it is still pending and yet to be acknowledged or resolved. I was deducted N2,600 for a trip, but I did not make the trip because the driver later cancelled the trip. I reordered another trip for N1,400, it was pre-deducted but I still had to pay for the trip at the end of the trip. Kindly refund the money asap. Thanks.

Hi my name is Thulisile Nkosi I took a trip yesterday at 9:30am from Carlton center to soweto mosque at dlamini driver was Miseni and the number plate was FG 20/50 that's all I can remember about the number plate colour of the car is white trip charge R177 paid in cash. Hi there, I see in your complaints that there is more than one case like this with, seemingly, no successful outcomes - or even responses. My domestic worker hired a Bolt driver on Tuesday 1st March from Midrand to Diepsloot. Upon leaving the vehicle, she noticed her phone was left in the car. Using a companion's phone, she phoned her phone immediately - which rang. Upon subsequent calls to her phone, the phone had been switched off. They immediately phoned the driver: Tempered, vehicle registration: JN84BVGP, VW Polo,Vivo and he refused to take their call.. All calls since then have been ignored and they cannot get hold of him to get the phone back. This is a domestic worker who doesn't have money to purchase a new phone. I've taken the liberty to express my severe disappointment with Bolt service providers in the Ballito area. In my recent attempt to travel with Bolt my experience was rather distasteful, I requested a ride to the KingShaka Airport from the Ballito Regional Mall and a certain driver picks my request but immediately calls me on my mobile phone , of which I understood it to be normal thinking he wanted to communicate and question my exact location at the mall. But to my surprise he was interested in cost of the ride, unfortunately my reception was bad so I ended the call and texted him on my app. He, continued to question how much is the rude? and I was reluctant to respond he thereafter cancels the pickup. To my understanding this unprofessional act is a gross breach of any company's professional conduct policy and I trust this not the way Bolt wishes to conduct business. And this has been going on for a long since the introduction of Bolt in the Ballito region. Some of these drivers make us pay R20 each for a single ride of 4 people which at most is R35 so they make a profit of R45... Please look into this matter. We as Ballito residents will if needed sign a petition for the operation of Bolt to be reconsidered in our area. I demand that this must be looked into and I do have supporting evidence for this complaint.

This morning the Bolt app, instead of opening, asks me for my phone number - which it obviously has - and says it will send me a code to verify. But when I try to do this the app stalls, quoting an unknown error, and asks me to try again. Impossible! And one can't find a number to phone and ask for help. You'll be losing clients this way.

I have a serious issue I need reported to you guys! I just requested a driver. Thee driver accepted the trip knowing very well he is low on petrol, firstly he made it my problem but I had already paid him via card payment. This guy had started the trip but we waited 20 minutes before he could start driving. He was calling different people to come assist him, already I wasn't feeling safe. He was very rude and was speeding, taking routes I wasn't aware off. Stop the car in the middle of know where but luckily the cops were passing, as I was screaming for help, he then accelerated. He didn't end the trip after dropping me off he continued till I got a bank notification notifying me that it has deducted 107rand after I had paid a61rand for my initial trip . Till date two customers got free rides from me amounting to 8,000 which I reported to the customer care. To my surprise instead of getting a refund with compensation I was blocked under the guise of low rating. Rating that I found out was affected by those same customers who fled with my money. Partners my foot! The company is only after profit and they do not believe in the African dream. The African dream is not to be rich but to be successful and balanced. The company listens to no one, neither driver nor rider, they listen to stocks and profits. I have no problem with their modus operandi but please do not lie to unsuspecting people that you have partners because you don’t! A driver who likes this app is probably just done with idleness. Same idleness fueled by greed and a lack of consideration. Right from the training and car inspection there is a stale hostility and even from the customer care, they also do not care! I drove hundreds of km for BOLT and they rewarded me with owing me 8,000 naira and kicking me out of the app. I am okay today Glory to God but if you are just about to start this at least use UBER

Inconsiderate bolt

Bolt started off well in Abuja Nigeria, practically begging and doing all sorts of convincing to get drivers, their price was okay and commission was 15% , drivers were happy to abandon Uber whose percentage was 25, Uber was literally chased out of business. Not it’s so unfortunate that bolt feel they’ve arrived, bolt has now become so arrogant and inconsiderate of their drivers who are supposed to be partners, they have now increased their percentage to 25, prices of of things are going up everyday in Nigeria but it’s only bolt prices that is being reduced without consultations, bolt conveniently block and suspends driver without proper investigation when a rider reports, bolt should please review their price because drivers here in Abuja are suffering, most drivers here are paying their partners #30,000 every week, with that price rate, drivers stay on the road 24/7 hence exposing themselves to dangers and accidents just because they want to meet up with their payment, bolt makes money on commission and makes money while the apps are running, this is modern day slavery, something has to be done

Very inconsiderate drivers

This app is designed to favour the app owners and not the users (drivers), especially with the recent introduction of “driver score”. It automatically blocks drivers account when a few records of uncompleted rides occur, not putting into consideration many reasons beyond the driver’s control that may occur (passengers requesting for rides and not showing up, forcing the driver to cancel, passengers simply requests and cancels rides themselves for many reasons e.g searching for a better car). And sometimes, it’s drivers would cancel when a passenger is going to an unsafe area or when they sense that the passenger(s) could be of threat. I feel the app should have been designed in a way that it also puts into consideration to a large extent the drivers and not just treat them like trash.
