I’ve been using NetEase’s email for many years and was feeling good all the time. I have used it to sign up for many other accounts even for my Apple ID. However, nightmare came to me when I suddenly forgot my password. I’ve never seen such stupid procedure to retrieve a password. The only way you can quickly get it is to send a message to an Only-Chinese-Available number. If you don’t have a Chinese Mobil number, you can’t send one and you’ll need to fill a questionnaire asking when you created your NetEase account, what is the title of one of your emails and what is its email address. The worst part is this information is not enough!! They even ask you to upload a copy of your Chinese ID card, which is very sensitive! Excuse me, why should I trust a system that had info leak just a year ago? You know what? This is still not the end. You need to wait for 3-5 days for them to verify your identity. And you still have the risk to get denied! This is ridiculous to spend so much time and risk your privacy on just retrieving a free email account’s password! A lot of people are complaining about this but they never hear. So please don’t use any of their products unless you want to go through all these pains when you forget password. It doesn’t worth it.

I once had really bad issue of login to my Chinese email. I couldn't even open the email due to the Internet and browser problem. whenever I try to login, it said 'please try later'. Then I download MailMaster, and found out that I have free access to my Chinese email at any time. I can open the email, manipulate with the settings in MailMaster and let it reminds me of new coming emails. This is definitely a great app you would like to try especially when you have a similar issue as mine. Highly recommended, and the most important things is that it's for free! And doesn't take many space on your phone.

I use this for my China-based email addresses on phone and Mac, and it was super easy to set up, and works well. The phone version is perfect, because it has an English version. The Mac version, which I think is by the same developer, apparently only has a Chinese version. I had to get a Chinese friend to show me which buttons to press to compose an email, and the rest was pretty intuitive. As a longtime expat resident of China who can’t read Chinese, I would like it if the Mac version offered an English interface, but even without, both the phone and Mac version are super useful apps that I use every day.

I love MailMaster because it helps me send emails to my friends and teachers. I hope to see more people using this wonderful app and more people writing reviews about MailMaster. If you we need to send Emails, go ahead and download Mail Master!

When I was registering 2 emails with netease, it allowed me to register the first one without any hassle. But when I am registering the second one on my desktop, it says that my network is not secure and thus forces me to download its app to register a new email. This is ridiculous because I was able to register the first one in the same place, if the network is not secure, why would it allow me to register it in the first place? I think this is just a trick to force users to download their mobile app and it is really annoying. The mobile app itself is pretty fast though.

As a long term NetEase email user and a recent Mail Master app user, I have two suggestions for MailMaster:

1. Please allow the Account & Folder menu to...say, “lock up” its position a little bit. I find it a little troublesome to have to scroll down every time I was checking out the folders at the bottom.

2. Please add a “complete delete” function in the spam folder. If I find a mail in the inbox to be a spam and put it in the spam, I wish it could be completely deleted right within the spam folder, rather than sending it to the trash and then deleting it completely. Kinda troublesome too, right?

Other than these two, I have no complaint. Everything else is perfect, I will leave the compliments to someone else :)

How can I block the mails from certain user? The reason of my installation of MailMaster barely is the recommendation of web edition, like all other apps from china it bothers me every time when I use it. But there are no advantages in MailMaster compared with web edition. My usual operation sequence is open mailbox, open inbox, do something, open spamming box, check mails at spam box, close, so it’s useless for me

When gmail is blocked in certain countries, I find this mail master very helpful to find a way “back home”. It is easy to use and reliable. So all my mails from different accounts go through this one. Recommend!

I use MailMaster for my iPhone, iPad, and Mac. All of their apps are free and easy to use. I use it for my own domain email which was configured using QQ, and all I had to do was enter my email address and password and everything was done for me, despite my email domain being custom. Quite nice.

I like MailMaster very much and have already been with it for many years. But recently it stop receiving gmail when I install an update version on my new phone. Can I roll back to an earlier version which can receive gmail?

It has been a year since I downloaded this iPad version. It always have the error when loading a attachment image. It is either not loading or loaded halfway. No fix or update regarding this, there is not even a refresh or redownload function. Poor product management from Netease. For this reason, it is very fair to give it 1 star rating.

Good experience and when I send the email for another person it connects very fast to another one.

Sometimes email notification works perfectly, but also sometimes notification comes a few days later. I once got an email notification 5 days after it was sent to me. Please solve this issue! I never want to miss an important email again!!

It’s really great app. I don’t have to change account all the time between different mail boxes!

It is generally a good mail app but not as powerful as outlook. It still alerts you the new emails even you have read them on another devices. Too many advertisements.

Recently whenever I try to refresh MailMaster , it says network error when the wifi is working perfectly FINE on other apps🙃 Closing & reopen app and reconnecting to internet don't help either... Hope they can fix the bug.

Easy to edit, delete, send or organize.
Just love they user experience design on all the little details.

Great app. Very easy to use. But if u don't change the associated phone number before u get rid of ur old number. The change process would be very painful!
