BusWhereSchoolBusTracking is horrible! Hasn’t even connected to my son’s bus and I know it’s on the road! My son rides the “special Ed” bus and I have to be at home to meet the bus! But half the time I don’t know where it’s at!

The bus number can change from day to day. We do not get notified. If a new number or alternative bus is used the tracking is not updated. My child for some reason is marked to be taking 4043 going towards the city when she goes to PHMS. The tracking doesn’t show daily! If at all. I launch BusWhereSchoolBusTracking daily and it is a hit or miss. Busses show up way late and the kids arrive late and yet no update provided. The whole system just need to be revised, reviewed and perhaps replaced with something more accurate and reliable.

I have 3 kids that get on the bus in valley center. 1st bus and 2nd bus route 25. I have called the bus barn and sent emails and text messages. All I get is they are not up and running yet. We have now missed over 1/2 the year and still not up. The excuse they give me is they don’t have the staff to input all the bus routes? Really. BusWhereSchoolBusTracking is a joke. We sit for 20-30 min everyday at the stop because USD 262 can’t get it together. Can buswhere make this simpler for the users please.

When BusWhereSchoolBusTracking works it’s very helpful. However, most days it fails to show the location of the bus even after waiting 5-10 minutes watching the “acquiring GPS” wheel spin. About once a week BusWhereSchoolBusTracking sends me an alert that the “bus is on its way” an hour after the bus dropped my child off.

I was so happy when buswhere was launched but Hillcrest pm Green bus is never shown on the map. I even stopped looking because there is no point. My kids bus always comes late sometimes at 4:10 and sometimes 4:30. So I have to be looking for bus for continuous 30 minutes.

Maybe it is on my schools end but the gps isnt accurate and many of the school kids miss the bus. Some of us need BusWhereSchoolBusTracking because the bus runs away from the house where we cannot see and the bus schedule isn’t reliable.

I open BusWhereSchoolBusTracking and the bus route information is not available and it is “waiting for gps” for at least up to 20 minutes. I never really know how long it takes to connect because I have to send my kid to the stop not knowing how long he will wait so he doesn’t miss the bus. I end up closing BusWhereSchoolBusTracking because I already sent him and I don’t have time to sit and stare at BusWhereSchoolBusTracking . It’s useless. Moreover, it’s frustrating!!! The bus never comes at the same time which is why the district started using this useless app. So my kid has missed the bus some days and stood at the stop for 20 minutes other days (in the winter cold mind you)!!! Someone please make a better app that actually works properly and consistently!

Never works! I haven’t gotten it to work a single time. Just says “Waiting for GPS” the entire time. I was excited about BusWhereSchoolBusTracking, but it’s been useless.

BusWhereSchoolBusTracking never works and is always waiting for a signal. At this point I’m better off deleting BusWhereSchoolBusTracking to save storage on my phone because all its doing is taking up space

I really hope the school district didn’t pay for this junk. It worked great for 2 weeks and I was impressed but now everyday it says searching for gps. It never loads. I can never see where the bus is.

When BusWhereSchoolBusTracking works it is incredibly helpful. The amount of times it lags or just doesn’t work is incredibly frustrating. When the regular bus driver is doing the bus run you get into the routine of things and BusWhereSchoolBusTracking is not as necessary. But when there is a substitute, being able to track where the bus is can mean the difference between 15-20 minutes.

In one instance we were alerted that the bus was on its way 30 minutes before the normal alert time. Thankfully I could actually see that the bus was still at the bus lot on the map and didn’t have to rush my child out the door.

Just this morning BusWhereSchoolBusTracking froze up again. I closed and reopened it several times. Then I got a message saying now I don’t have access.

It would be nice if we could see if and when the bus is coming but it freezes and just never updates until the bus is at the stop and says arrived smh. We are literally just going out at random times because we don’t know when it’s coming smh.

BusWhereSchoolBusTracking used to be great! Was accurate and you could easily tell where the bus was on its route. Now everyday I have to scroll between the Am and Pm and different routes to find where the bus is. Most days as she’s running the high school am route it shows her on the elementary school am route. Also the gps jumps all over the place. One second she’s on a road, then it jumpy to a different road, then jumps again. Never saw this issue in the prior 2yrs of using BusWhereSchoolBusTracking, suddenly started about 2-3weeks ago. Phone is updated, app is updated, and bus service says their stuff is updated and it “must be BusWhereSchoolBusTracking ”.

BusWhereSchoolBusTracking was awful at first, but it has improved.. if it stays working and accurate I would give it 5 stars.. but I’m only on week 2/3? of tracking the correct bus daily..

I’m not sure what’s going on but the timing is off. BusWhereSchoolBusTracking said my daughters bus was 10 minutes away but she almost missed it and we don’t live 10 minutes away from her bus stop. So it’s still having to to be on the bus stop on much colder days waiting because of the inaccurate time.

BusWhereSchoolBusTracking is really helpful when it works. Our school district started using it this year. We don’t have to wait in the cold anymore.

However with a caveat! Often times when it’s cloudy, all we see is Waiting for GPS’ and we have no way to know where the bus is. In Pittsburgh, majority of the days, it will be either cloudy or raining. If the device on the bus is not communicating with GPS the driver needs to be notified. Atleast he should be able to set the location of the bus manually and display that location as text or push a notification in BusWhereSchoolBusTracking .

It works for the most part some days it doesn’t update where the bus is so we end up late to the bus.. The newest update has been horrible it crashes allot not good when I’m watching where the bus is it kicks me off every three minutes. I wish I could go back to the old version not have the updated version

Should give users more controls. While understandable that parents can’t add bus routes we should be able to remove routes that we no longer want to see.

BusWhereSchoolBusTracking has been so helpful when it works! And when it doesn’t work it’s probably an issue with the bus not sending a signal and not BusWhereSchoolBusTracking itself. But as a parent, knowing where the bus is and when it will arrive is a game changer!

BusWhereSchoolBusTracking is a game changer. No more missing the bus or standing outside in the cold waiting for the bus. We know exactly when it will be here. This is the best thing since sliced bread!

Seems to work well. Accurate enough to give my kids and me actionable intelligence on bus location (instead of operating in the dark).

Our daughter started high school this year, and the BusWhere app has been a game-changer for us. Each morning my daughter and I track her bus, so she knows exactly when to leave the house. It removes all the guesswork and a ton of her morning anxiety. So simple, and so helpful.

This is such an amazing app and has made the mornings in our house so much more pleasant. Will save our child getting too cold and wet in the winter! Thank you for creating such a thoughtful and useful application!

I appreciate BusWhereSchoolBusTracking so much. It’s come in handy more times than i can count. I wish ever school would use BusWhereSchoolBusTracking.

At a time of driver shortages and transportation delays this has been a life saver. While BusWhereSchoolBusTracking does not always work perfectly (I think due to different buses covering different routes) it is a game changer. Especially in the winter and during bad weather.

This is the first year our school is utilizing BusWhereSchoolBusTracking and I love being able to see how far away my kid is from home and when to look out for him. Amazing app!

Always accurate and useful. A must have!

It’s very helpful to know where the bus is so my children dont have to wait for the bus so long esp in cold days. It tells me when it’s arriving so i can get my kids to the bus stop.
The GPS tracking is actually a little 1 or 2 mins slower than the actual bus, its says its going to my bus stop but the actual bus arrived by then , if that makes sense. Thats the only problem.

BusWhereSchoolBusTracking is great! My child doesn’t have to stand outside any longer than he needs to. I wish I had this as a kid!

Tracking the school bus is extremely accurate. This helps us minimize time at the bus stop on inclement weather days.

My school district recently introduced BusWhereSchoolBusTracking and it’s been a godsend. The times are accurate and allows us to get the kids out on time. Very helpful and highly recommended by this Mom.
