The game is fun, but trying to pull down the colors especially blue and yellow often results with pulling down the Notification Center and losing a move, at least on my screen size. I would like for the sensitive area to be larger so I don’t have to pull all the way from the top of the screen.
Additionally, as others have reported, I was around level 42-47 when the game started crashing after I ran out of hearts, and wouldn’t get past the menu screen without crashing again. I am using a 2nd gen iPhone SE on iOS 17.5.1. I tried restarting Overpaint and it didn’t change, I didn’t try restarting the phone. But I did uninstall and reinstall Overpaint and was surprised to see my game progress restart considering the game is tied to the Game Center I expected my progress to be saved, as is with other games.
2/5 stars, game is fun, but frustrating and buggy. If the bugs can be addressed it would be much better.

I’ve enjoyed the game so far, each level is incredibly fun. However, I reached level 23, but I had to quickly do something so I closed Overpaint midway through the level. Upon returning, i could get to the title screen but when I hit play the game closed and restarted. I redownloaded Overpaint and went back to level one. I went through the levels again and reached 55. I similarly closed Overpaint midway through the level and once again I couldn’t play anymore. Really annoying, I won’t be restarting again.

I loved it but suddenly it just stopped working. Every single time I try to open it now, it just crashes. I even tried deleting it and getting it again. It still crashes every time.

I love this game but for days I’ve been trying to open it and it immediately crashes. I’ve tried all the reset your phone close Overpaint stuff and I even deleted it. Nothing works.

The game itself is great but to slid the color squares too many tines it pulls down phone menu and costs a move. Definitely something that needs to he fixed. So 5 stars for fane its self but posting 2 because of bugs.

I wish Overpaint was made just a little bit better. Many other reviewers have mentioned crashing and bugs. I also experienced this. I can’t play past level 45 because the yellow bar just won’t drag low enough to fit some circles. I’ve restarted Overpaint , deleted and re-downloaded, nothing works. I also have an issue with the yellow bar being in the exact same place as my notification shade. This issue frequently caused me to lose a life. Generally Overpaint feels sluggish. When I first downloaded it told me to relax and remember that this game isn’t based on speed, but I ended up tense and frustrated waiting for the slow transition speed to clear so I could just play the level I wanted. I really wish I liked Overpaint more the colors are pretty and the simple gameplay could be very satisfying. Pleassseeeeee update it!!

I thought the game was fun but recently it started crashing when I open Overpaint and it won’t stop so I can’t play :(

I got to level 66 and it wouldn’t allow me to move the yellow to cover the bottom circle So the level is actually impossible to complete Other than that level the games is great and I loved the puzzles

So i’ve been playing this game for a week and got to level 67ish. but now every single time i press play on the opening screen, it closes Overpaint . it’s super fun while i could play it though

The color are so close to the corners that I keep pulling my menus down and that causes the color (usually yellow sometimes blue) to move erratically and count against my moves. It keeps making me lose levels. It jumps around because it thinks I’m pulling down my screen menus when I’m trying to pull yellow. I don’t want to change my phone settings just to play this one game.

Fun app, but it's extremely frustrating how anytime I try dragging one of the colors on the top side of the screen it's about 50/50 chance of me dragging down the notification shade, and if I pull it away, I lose a move.

Then I have to restart the level because I know how to do it! But I run out of moves

Plenty full screen apps force you to have to swipe TWICE to bring the notification shade to prevent situations like this.

Love the game but I got on it one time then I swiped out of it and I tried getting back in but it keeps kicking me out for some reason

It’s been my favorite game to play as of late. It’s a wonderful game to play on breaks. My only issue currently is level 69 is currently unplayable. The yellow doesn’t go far enough to complete it. If this has been fixed, it hasn’t gone through to my device.

I wish there was a way to earn more lives without paying by playing more challenging rounds or something. I ran out at around level 70 and now Overpaint crashes every time I open it. It’s a shame, I was really enjoying playing :/

I beat this fun and addictive game many moons ago, and if love more levels! Love that the color inspiration came from overlapping colored cellophane.

Fun game but both times I’ve downloaded this game, it just stops working at a certain point. I go to play and the screen pops up and immediately closes without letting me play. This time, it’s at game #109. I’m current with the updates. Very frustrating!

This is a very different type of game. Because oft the limited number of moves you can't be careless.

It doesn’t have any ads and you can easily play without feeling like you need to do the in app purchases. Very nice music and gameplay too.

This game is a fun puzzle game, but it’s the music that makes me like it the most. What song is that, and by whom?

A relaxing puzzle game. Gives you little fun facts about colors in the loading screens.
