As solitaire games go, this one is just okay—it is definitely designed to be hard enough to force you to buy boosters and such. They muck with it a lot and the updates seem to make things worse. They started teams, but only had forums for like, a minute, so there’s no way to communicate with your team. The rewards are super-buggy. They just gave us a 20,000 booster award (they say by accident), but they took three days to notice, and then they just took the boosters away, even though we had all been playing for three days like they were ours, and the consolation prize they gave us for THEIR mistake wasn’t even a little bit close to the same value, so I was actually worse off than if they had just gotten it right in the first place. Most places, when they make an error in the customer’s favor, just let it go. Because they acknowledge their own mistake and want to keep a good reputation. Not these guys! I am seriously considering deleting this game after that kind of treatment, which would be a shame, because I’ve been playing for several years, and had made a lot of progress. There are so many solitaire apps out there—you can surely find one where TPTB aren’t such greedy jerks.

*** Editing this review and not in a good way. All I want to do is relax and have some fun doing it and not spend a fortune but it gets harder and harder. You only earn 500GB for each free video and 2 Midas clubs-and u can do this 2X for each. Videos are way too long. Earning 1000 GB isn’t enough because to fill your bag costs way more GB. And getting free stamps is useless because you earn the same stamp over and over which of course isn’t needed. It’s a shame because it really is a good game concept but in my opinion it’s way too expensive and I no longer enjoy it.
It’s a fun game but there are some problems. In order to get a few extra coins you have to watch a video but the videos are way too long and then sometimes the video freezes and you have to restart and restart. One time I had to completely delete the game and reload it. The irons get more expensive the longer you play the game. I did end up buying more coins one time because I was enjoying the game but I won’t buy any more. Its just not worth it when you can see the obvious greed of the company. The more you play the more it will cost you. Why would I want to give you money when you make it so tough to win anything.

Have been playing this game for years. Mainly because I love the gopher, McDivot 🥰. The graphics featuring him and his little worm friend are so cute and clever, as are the ‘movies’ he stars in that you win once in a blue moon. After the developers spoiled the fun by making it tortuously hard to pass the main and bonus levels, I started doing just the daily games on most days. Couldn’t always win those either but at least I was able to continue to participate. Plus there were the mini-games you could play like the gopher race where you could win some money and, in addition, there was a free stamp or a mulligan you could get.
Well, now they’ve taken away the daily games. It’s been weeks and it’s obvious that they have no intention of ever bringing them back. It wouldn’t take this long to fix a ‘glitch’. From what I’ve read, a new company bought the game and it seems they’ve decided to completely ruin it. Whether because of greed or through sheer incompetency—who knows. But it’s time for me to delete Fairway Solitaire. Goodbye McDivot—-I’ll miss your goofy little face. 😢
