What's the point of an app that won't load?

Have repeatedly tried to use TheTalksInterviewMagazine only for it to open asking me to wait for the interviews to load, then after a moment saying it can't and to try again. I've tried again. And again. On different days. TheTalksInterviewMagazine doesn't do a thing.

Doesn't work!!!

TheTalksInterviewMagazine was great back when it worked, but now it crashes on my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.4.1) every time I open the interview directory. So it's just a really slow-loading ad for their sponsor Rolex. Thanks guys.

crash

Can't make it past the fancy rolex ad without it crashing.

Great People, Poor Interviews

Somehow The Talks has managed to get interviews with iconic people and some of the greatest folks working in the public eye today, but the discussions themselves are very poor and not well-planned. In some instances I even got the impression that the interviewer was alienating and even antagonizing the interviewee (see Bill Murray, Charlie Kaufman), but perhaps more likely is that they ask uninteresting, run-of-the-mill questions that are disingenuous and not engaging, which is really too bad given their source material (that is to say, who they are interviewing). 2-stars, but only because TheTalksInterviewMagazine works gracefully and because the subject portraits are well-done.

Mystery of the speaker icon...

I just downloaded TheTalksInterviewMagazine yesterday, and while exploring it decided to click on the little speaker icon below the photo at the top of each talk. A little loading bar moves from left to right across the screen below the icon, but no matter what I have my volume set on I don't hear anything. What's supposed to happen?

I mean... it could be nice

If the tabs actually brought you to the catagory that corresponds with their name (for example, the music tab taking you to the music section instead of taking you to the food section) then I think I'd love TheTalksInterviewMagazine .

Like it want to love

While I must say I love the online magazine and the selections of people with whom share a on look into their lives, and while I do like Lebron James and Denzel Washington. Where are the women of color where are the black people making art, music, design, culture it would be really great see those aspects on your site

So far so good

I like it , it's well built , simple and clear .. You can basically read the interview , save it for later read or share it on social sites ..
no complains and no app crashes .. Very pleased with it

If you're having trouble, try deleting & reinstalling

Excellent content. UI could be more exciting and interactive otherwise it works as it should. Loads quickly and easy to navigate. Only had trouble when I had to restore iPhone but a reinstall fixed it back to a fully functioning app.

Chic, sleek and smart

I am so pleased that The Talks have created an app, the interviews are intimate and to the point, the library is of some of the most iconic and interesting people in art, fashion, music and film and now they are all packed into one little perfect place. Get this now you won't be disappointed!
