Unusable

I wanted to play this to test out the free version before purchasing the pro version and it is completely unusable due to the amount of ads - I opened up the game and within 30 seconds (before even being able to select anything) I was presented with 3 different ads that I had to wait for to close and go back to the game. I understand the need for advertisements in order to recuperate the money from developing the games, but this was so ad heavy I was never even able to open the game. I am deleting it and will not be downloading anything else from this developer. I would have been willing to pay for the game if I was able to test it out and enjoyed it but this is a no go.

Great game

This game is a lot of fun, and helps you build skills. I play the ones I’m not so good at when I want a challenge, and the ones I’m good at when I just want something to do with my hands 😄
All of the games are easy to understand. The ones that I didn’t really get the instructions to were easy to catch on to. I’ve never had a problem with this game, usually I turn off my WiFi when I play to get rid of the adds.

Ok

It's ok but it has some flaws. Abstract vs concrete: habit. If thinking of a nun's habit, it can be considered concrete, but it's listed as abstract. Harp. Could be considered an emotional action, making it abstract or the musical instrument, which would be concrete. The game results feedback isn't clear like Lumosity. Lumosity clearly tells you to answer quickly. These games do not. You can complete the entire game, get a perfect score and somehow that's bad. The ads are also extremely annoying. Overall, it needs improvement.

Impressive app!

I noticed that my memory was beginning to diminish and wanted to find something to help me strengthen that part of the brain. MindGames was free so I decided to give it a try. Now I am absolutely obsessed! I found that if you play for a few minutes before a class, you can absorb more information.

NOT BUYING GAMES OF WAR!!

I swear- this otherwise great game is really just a venue for that same d@mn Games of War advertisement! Start a game- watch an ad. Back out to see a different game- watch the same ad. Click on a description- watch the same Fing ad again. Blow your nose- watch the same ad AGAIN!

I understand the idea of needing to watch ads or but the game. I get that. But if I haven't bought the d@mn game, show DIFFERENT ads instead of the same stupid, brain-numbing, insipid ad repeatedly.

Mind Games

I like the variety and the different challenges-some times I don't understand the instructions till start I playing the first couple of rounds , but that is on me. The selection offers different types, also fun to play while getting a workout for my brain.

Great app.

Love MindGames. Has lots of different challenges in all areas of knowledge. They make learning fun. I like that it gives you a percentage on how well you did compared to others your age. I very much like that they don’t bombard you with advertisements.

Mind games

The games are a mix of easy and difficult. You’ll know what to work on by the percentage after you finish each game: “you knew 20%more than other players!” I have a feeling this is not for kids. I do feel my brain is becoming more engaged every day!

Awesome app

This one actually makes me feel like I've used a few brain cells after I'm finished:) If you're looking for a little bit of a challenge, but not something that'll give you a headache, this is it!

Everybody needs to give it a try

As we get older definitely need to exercise our brain. I find a do the same game 3 times and I get better and faster each time.

Can't see question sometimes

Sometimes the question picture will be too big to see so I don't know what's being asked. The games are speed based so I have to try and answer anyway and I get some wrong because of that. It is kind of a 50/50 on whether the question will be visible enough to answer confidently. Other than that, I guess pretty neat.

Made for the well educated

Instructions and language are USA orientated and pitched at a college level education - in other words not so accessible to others.
It would be a great help to have a tutorial / training starter before each one begins as it is when doing the test that one understands what is wanted.
Also doesn’t work so well on the small screen of an iPhone SE.
Please make an effort to make this more widely accessible and international.

Good app, annoying ads

I love the fact that they give you access to “premium” features for free if you want to watch an ad. However, the other ads that pop up on top of these makes it a little much.

Ads after I paid for the app several years back

So I’ve had MindGames for several years. When initially downloading app I paid for it to have the full accesses and was so ,up until this last up date. Now there’s ads and it’s now saying to upgrade/ pay to have no ads. That’s crap if I paid, I shouldn’t have ads! Or anything limited!

Good but

The quality of the games are great but the amount of ads and visual distractions within MindGames is overstimulating. Some people who aren’t as comfortable with technology may find navigating the all difficult. Other than that I have enjoyed it!

Brain games

These brain exercises are a great way to start your day. I feel fully alert and ready to take on the day after I play just a couple of the games.

Finally! Enjoy boosting your brain!

I've tried them all and this is the most expansive assortment games for the brain I have found. Just the right amount of difficulty to avoid becoming frustrated. Definately worth a try!

Magnificent

This game is very stimulating. As you get older these types of mind games allow you to concentrate and want to complete each activities better than you did previously! 1-10 rating #10

Lots of variety and very challenging

I find this a one stop shop for all kinds of good brain games with lotta variety and a lot of challenging ideas and scenarios highly recommended

By

Fun and helpful

I enjoy playing games that provide entertainment and also help improve my concentration skills.

MindGames provides all of that, but I only gave them four stars because you do have to pay to unlock all levels of play and all games. In this economy, I can only afford "free." Lol!

A really good brain teaser.

Good collection of simple games that cover all aspects of the brain function. The music at the end does tend to render you to panic a bit but that adds to the fun and you get used to it. A five star brain woke out.

Effective but limited and too many adds

I think the training aids have potential. Unfortunately, getting through the adds takes too much time. My time is more valuable and there are other options for brain training that are effective. They are less fun, but I'm only interested in effectiveness.
