The screenshots showing Bath & Body Works as cruelty free we’re already concerning, but I thought it might have just been an old screenshot. Nope, this still shows up like that on BunnyFree . If such a big and well known company shows up as cruelty free when it’s not I can trust the reliability of any other entries
Bunny Free

Has issues. Just downloaded BunnyFree and the scan option didn’t work so I tried typing in the items barcode. After five minutes of it looking for the product I canceled it because I was tired of waiting while it was still looking. So I deleted BunnyFree and reinstalled it and same problem still exists. I have an iPhone 7 so it should work but it’s just frustrating. Needs improvement.
App needs work

BunnyFree can be helpful, but it does need some work. When searching for information about a product, there needs to be more information about the product testing regulations. Whether it does test in animals or not, it would be helpful to have some information about the product and their testing regulations.
Very Limited

While BunnyFree has proved useful at times, it's incredibly short on brands. I'd say, about 75% of the time, I give up and just Google the brand I'm looking for. Kinda defeats the purpose of having BunnyFree .
Thought BunnyFree would be great since it has the search and scan options. Typed in urban decay which came up as owned by L'Oréal but was considered cruelty free. However, I searched L'Oréal which would not come up with any results. I know that L'Oréal is not cruelty free. That should be noted under the urban decay search. And how does a major company not pull up? Needs to get the whole truth

The camera to scan a product does not show up. I’ve tried searching several types of products’ names and for some reason it’s not the list
Bigger database?

As another reviewer mentioned, I'm not sure why all the reviews are quite so high, given the database limitations: with such a tremendous cosmetics industry, there is relatively little covered here.
I wasn't expecting 100% coverage; there's too much out there for that. However, if you try to browse (for example) Sephora with BunnyFree in hand, you're going to strike out a lot-- and that's a fairly limited range of products.
When it works, it works, though. It gives a concise yes/no answer and relevant company contact info. PETA's website is extremely comprehensive, but, of course, that's difficult to browse on the run, which is why BunnyFree is a good idea.
I'm hoping for further updates; it's very simple to use and has a very clean look. The only thing lacking is more a more complete information bank.
Okay. Need to type in each product and search. We needs an app that can scan barcodes.

Who has time to type in and enter every single product? If I could scan each product before throwing it in my basket at the store it’d be great - but so far I might as well just use any old app out there that lists brands because this one isn’t any more user friendly than any of the others.
Needs more updates!

With so many new brands on the market I find that 80% of what I look up gives me a blank answer. Established brands that are at local drugstores & Walmart & Target- but not on Bunny Free. I wish PETA would ask for customer feedback and suggestions for what brands to look into and put on the Safe for Bunnies list.
Missing quite a few brands like Kate Somerville, Drunk Elephant, Sunday Riley, Belif, Fresh... just to name a few in the skin care category. Works well for what it has tho. It IS a good app but not nearly large enough database. Please add more brands!
New app.

I love BunnyFree. I wish I could search companies by state or search for specific products...
Good, but it needs more

BunnyFree is pretty good. However, Im not too impressed with the limited selection. It has a lot of good stuff, but it doesn't have most of the things I was searching for. It is understandable that some companies don't disclose information on whether or not they test animals, but I think BunnyFree should say that when searching for something. Overall, its a good app.
THIS IS THE BEST APP EVER!!!!!!!!!!

BunnyFree is so great! Animal testing is terrible and BunnyFree lets me know which products have been tested on animals! It is a must-have for all animal lovers. BunnyFree is amazing!!!
It's hard to memorize all the cruelty-free companies, so this is so helpful while shopping!

The white man is not only an animal, but an anti-animal. I’m sick of those cowardly chickens hating on the oppressed in the animal KINGdom. What slimy snakes they are! We don’t need no stinking badgers! And when the twisted nitwits at PETA vomit their beastly, despicable rot, those dirty rats are always snitching on us! And what about the ferocious undocumented wildlife! Let them animals in too!
Free PUNXSUTAWNEY PHIL!!! and the ELEPHANT MAN!!!

I love BunnyFree. It's newer so sometimes the things you look up aren't there but it does have a lot of info. It's very easy to use. I love BunnyFree!

Previously I had to do my homework prior to shopping and couldn't take advantage of sales for brands I am unfamiliar with unless I navigated the phone-unfriendly PETA site. Now I can look it up on the go! Thank you- the bunnies thank you too!
I really like BunnyFree! It's helpful and very straightforward, and easy to use. I like that you can just type it in and go! I like that it gives you the information for the company, not just whether or not it's cruelty free, in case you want to see their website, etc.
I like BunnyFree a lot better than the leading cruelty free search apps.
