The Impossible Letter Game Reviews

Most of TheImpossibleLetterGame is cluttered with ads and sometimes messes you up with your time, which is important to each level. Also, some levels change on you in the middle of playing. To be specific, in the campaign in the Disorienting Distractions missions, the level named “District” keeps switching up the kind of level it wants to be, first it would have the letters all moving counter-clockwise, then it would change to have the letters moving in two different directions each line of letters going a different direction. I just don’t see how I could beat that level with 5 different puzzles in 37 seconds. Plz fix

First, this is a fun game. Second, I have no issues with paying for no ads in a game, and do so often. However, I like to play the game for a short time to make sure it is for me before paying for no ads. This game makes that impossible. I understand ads between levels, but this game puts small ad windows on TOP of the play area in the middle of levels to where you cannot click on parts of the puzzle, and you cannot get rid of these windows. It is very misleading by the developer to call this a free app, and I have a problem with that. They should have made it a paid app for $1.99 instead of calling it a free app that is not playable without purchase. By the way this didn’t happen immediately - it was not until the 3rd set of puzzles. It is a fun game that is worth $1.99 but I will not support a business practice like this.

the games are interesting and generally fun, but a full screen ad appeared after only three or four games completed- even though TheImpossibleLetterGame already has ads at the bottom (and over the top of some screens) already. also, there are quite a bit of of privacy invading tracking that goes on with no way to opt out- and that makes this just too much to accept- deleting it now, since this is not really a free trial, but an exercise in collecting ad revenue for the developer before you have achance to decide if you want to pay for it. hey, if it's not free, then just say so- because now I'll just avoid all your apps.

I would have rated the game higher as it is well-engineered and has nice, clean graphics; however, one vexing flaw is that you cannot move until you complete your current game. I’m stuck on a game where I must quickly find three M’s in a sea of W’s. I find that combination (M’s and W’s) very difficult to process. There’s no way that I will be able to find those three M’s within the time provided; I have been trying for two days. I just can’t detect them fast enough, and the game will not let me move to the next puzzle until I can defeat this one. So the game is done for me, and that’s too bad. At least give us the option to skip impossible puzzles - perhaps after ten attempts, or something like that?

This game was super stressful and I wouldn’t get it. It is way to damaging to your negative stress and you shouldn’t play it. It was good at first and I thought “Huh, this could be a game I can just play.” But then it was stressing me out and I deleted is cause I knew it wasn’t good for my mental health. That is why you shouldn’t get it, unless you like getting stressed out over a game and wanting to cry (kinda what I did). I let it play with my emotions and it is not ok I am competitive but that was just overwhelming. Don’t get it.

The game and how it works is simple. You find the hidden letter, number, or both in a cluster of similar letters or numbers. It is timed, meaning you have to compete the mission with the allotted time frame given in order to achieve 3 stars (to rank your speed of completion) I enjoy this dynamic and I see that it is very well thought out, as simple as it may be. It is fun, time consuming, as well as challenging. Which gives three different, but prominent features which makes this game interesting. However, there is one thing I would recommend. Upon finding the outlasted letter or number in the bunch, I noticed there is a time of non action, as when moving on to the next “level” you don’t do anything but wait for the next “level” or “stage” to make its appearance. When this happens the timer still runs. I feel as if this would make the game much more enjoyable if this feature was removed. Perhaps pausing the timer when completed, until the next level or stage starts. Other than that great game!

Yes, I did just download this game a few minutes ago and I didn’t get very far, it made my head hurt, but back to the subject. One, please do whatever you want, you can download this game, go ahead. But when I started, I had to do so much, and I didn’t know what I was even clicking. But creators of the game, keep doing awesome work on your games and they will be absolutely amazing!

Trust me, this is a good way to test your eyes capabilities. There isn't a scale or anything, but the harder it is for you to play the easy levels, or the easier it is for you to play the harder ones, you can tell if you're having seeing problems if you haven't noticed already. Also im only putting this review because somebody said people who put 5 stars are bots, therefore, 4 stars.

i am INLOVE with this game i like how it’s just like spot the difference plus, it doesn’t make you into a different level you can chose. And i like that it isn’t to easy or too hard it’s medium. And guess what your parents will let i play it CAUSE IT HELPS WITH EYE SITE THANK U FOR THAT! and i have a surprise ITS FOR FREE I MEAN LIKE DUDE. So what i am trying to say is i love this game its awesome and i think that you should try it out! thank u!

Got this game as a puzzle to do when I had small spare time but not enough to play some of my other games. Thought this was gonna be a whatever little time killer but it was actually very addicting and fun! Can’t stop playing it! Absolutely love it and some levels are extremely challenging to get 3 stars

I like the game but on the last part of finding the f it’s hard because I find the f in the time I need to but when I tap on the f the game won’t let me or it won’t let me get it but it will let me get the other numbers or when I find the f the time goes to a higher number or it skips one and goes to two so can you fix that ty

WARNING-do NOT play this game if you are prone to seizures. The strobing on many puzzles are sure to trigger unwanted consequences. Also can trigger headaches.

It’s a fun and addictive game. Good for passing time. Relaxing mostly. Can be hard. Ads are overbearing. Ads in the middle of a 9 second puzzle is overkill. I use ‘give up’ a lot if I’m over the 3 star time goal or if above mentioned ad pops up in the middle of a 9 second puzzle. Otherwise, I definitely recommend.

I really enjoy this game, it gives a solid challenge without going nuts. I have concerns on the "strobe" portion of the levels. I have epilepsy and the flashing has started auras so I have not been able to move forward.

Could you possibly give an option to turn that off, like your colorblind option.

Edit: I emailed the creators about this problem and they fixed it. I am incredibly impressed with their service and their app.

I love this game it is fun and entertaining (if you enjoy looking for mismatched letters all day) but that’s not the point it really improves your vision and sometimes my brother plays with me after I’ve been playing for a month or so and he hasn’t beat me ONCE and the best part is if the game is hard there is like hundreds of different levels at the same time and there is one mode where you can choose the size of the boars so you can choose how quickly it gets harder which makes it a lot easier. All those people saying one star are WRONG people I think they just don’t enjoy looking for letters but you really should at least try it

I thought this game was just something that would keep me occupied for a bit, but this game has me really invested. I like it because there’s no ads except for when you want hints, or when you select level select/give up too many times. Otherwise, this game is really fun and It gets my mind of things. Definitely recommend for puzzle lovers, and if you just want to improve your reaction time too!

...what a great game. Was asked to review it & suggest improvements - which I can't as it's PERFECT. I play EVERY DAY, & I'm 55 😊 Many of the puzzles are VERY challenging & some easy enough to afford a chance to relax till the next hard one. Five stars!!! (Just an afterthought: the ads are a tad annoying. There's an option to remove them but I'm guessing it won't be without charge). SJGRWRB

Update:- Time has gone by since last I played this game, & now I’m playing it ALL OVER AGAIN! It’s still fanTABulous! I LOVE it. Fun. Challenging. Exciting. I’ve tried others like this but this one beats them all. Thank you to the developers 😁

It is truly great for a kid and Adults too. I absolutely love it and it helps you learn and it helps you see better sometimes. Everyone should get TheImpossibleLetterGame on their phone because it helps with your every day life. I bet you every day if you got TheImpossibleLetterGame it would help you get smarter and I'll help you do better in school. This should have advertised on TV because it is such a great app. It can make everyone smarter! If I could talk to everyone in this world I would tell you guys to get TheImpossibleLetterGame and tell everyone to get it!it also gives you something to do!

I LOVE TheImpossibleLetterGame! It is awesome and it is great for your brain! I have bad eye sight and I was wondering if I would be able to do it still or not and I can! The developers who made this game are awesome!

I love how there are different modes or whatever so I can play the classic version or the timed version or a different version. I highly recommend his app! Download it and have an awesome time!

Paid $2 to remove ads but they keep coming back. Tried to restore purchases and buy it again (says I already own it).

Using guided access, the ads are not clickable and forces us to exit guided access and close TheImpossibleLetterGame .

In app purchases for hints seems like a pure money grab
