Does nothing.

The product discrpition says it plays music files on your iOS device. That is a straight up lie. The moment you turn it on it says it MUST be hooked up to a TEAC device. WHAT?
Then I am not playing music on my iOS device am I?

Clicking noise for A9 Devices

Strange noises with iPhone SE+HA-P50, never happen before when I use devices with lower level processor

Unexpected behaviors from this app.

It has happened almost every-time when I have finished answering a phone call and hanged up while I have the TEAC HR player running in the background while the HA-P90SD is not connected to my iPhone6. The TEAC HR player automatically begins playing music via the speakers on my phone. I cannot do anything about it besides terminating the HR player in task manager. Please fix this problem soon! Also, the user interface isn't so convenient as I cannot arrange the songs besides in the default alphabetical way. And I have a lot of Chinese and Japanese songs that are simply categorized as #.

Clicking noises on iPhone 6s

I love my Teac hardware, and use it with my laptop all the time. Today I attached it for the first time to my newish iPhone 6s. I had used it successfully with my iPhone 6 and an earlier version of HRAudioPlayer.

There were audible and annoying clicks during playback, on multiple different MP3s of different origins. These same files played back fine through the Apple Music app.

I rebooted the phone but that didn't make a difference. Very disappointing.

Amazing app

For starters if you are wondering why this looks like the Onkyo HF Player, it's because it's the same app due to Teac owning parts of Onkyo. That aside HRAudioPlayer is great! It does what it says and does it well. I have tested this with all the supported formats and all of them work wonderfully! I can't figure out why the media art won't show up but oh well.

HRAudioPlayer isn't designed for looks, it's designed to be simple and straight forward. Instructions are very easy and is full of EQ features. I have not run across any bugs but all seems well.

I have tested the sound differences with ALAC files and HRAudioPlayer does make the music more spacious and detailed especially in the mids with no EQ settings. TEAC did a good job with the audio processing here and it makes your lossless formats stand out! AMAZING! After testing I converted all my music to FLAC and they run great still and my DSD files also run great! I don't have any external DAC and use Sennheiser 598 and occasionally a Fiio E11K AMP.

For anyone wondering I use this player for all my lossless music, Spotify Premium for my HQ streaming, and iTunes for any other lossy format.
